Had overall hair coloring a few weeks ago at this Supercut location. End result is damage to my hair. I don't know if the hair dye was left on too long or the formula used for the medium brown color was faulty and was further damaged by the large amount of leave in conditioner the stylist used. My hair continues to be dry, frizzy and fly away. What is surprising is my hair was colored by someone who is highly regarded. I am so unhappy with the result. read more

I came in and asked for a trim with a wash. An oriental woman was helping me, she immediately just started spraying my hair with water...with no intention to wash it. I had to ask her if she was going to wash it and she then washed it. I also showed her the amount I wanted off, I was very specific with what I wanted. She completely disregarded what I said and cut more than she really needed to. Way too short for my style and face. I was very displeased with this place and her haircut. Apparently she is the manager...she should let her other stylist do the cuts and her just manage or just stick to men's hair. If you are a woman, and actually like your hair, do not go to this supercuts. read more

So me and my daughter needed a haircut so I decided to hit up Supercuts to save some money. Boy was I wrong! My daughter has maybe shoulder length hair if lucky and my hair is long to middle of my back. We combined got an inch taken off, me 1/2 and her 1/2 inch. I asked for a blow dry and style. My stylist Tanya said i would be charged separate for everything. I said ok well how much. She said 19.95 for cut and $10 for blow dry. Ok then let's do it. My hair is longer so obviously it took longer but my daughter was done rather quickly and her hair is paper straight so it's easy. My hair is a bit wavy and so maybe it took a little more work. J wasn't looking in mirror so had no clue what to expect. My hair is pancake flat with no body at all. This is the same thing I can do at home!! Whatever no biggie it's fine... I go to pay and she said $89.90, I was like ummm you said $19.95 for cuts and $10 for blow dry. She backpeddles and said it's $10 and up!! She DID NOT say that then I asked initially. She charged $30 for my dry and $20 for my daughters! GTFOH Supercuts!! You aren't Michael Kelly salon or Jose eber for Pete's sake! That is the exact price I pay at a high end salon for a cut and it comes with a bomb style. And comes with a shampoo!! My hair does not look bomb. It's flat as a pancake and has no body at all. My husband had been going to Supercuts for over 7 years. We recently moved so he tried a Supercuts close by. It was epically unprofessional. From the stylist blowing the hair with her blow dryer from a previous customer and not sweeping it up to not asking my husband if he is a Supercuts customer and then a $20 haircut that is barely noticeable so he will need his hair cut again soon. The girl seem unsure of herself with the most basic mans cut that I have given my husband before. It made him very nervous. It's too bad because he loved Supercuts before. I went in to get my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed. There was a slight wait as both Dominique and Lisette were busy with other clients. Lisette was able to help me and did a wonderful job. I did my best to describe what I wanted for my hair cut (which I've never been really good at), and she did not hesitate to ask questions and give me options if I was unsure of what I wanted specifically (length of the back, how I wanted my sideburns shaped, etc.). This is tough..I loved my cut, but my color (which I paid the same $$ as I would have going to a previous stylist in Oxnard) was horrible. The color is nothing like what I described and showed him, I was cool with that..but OMG..when I got home I found three very obvious chunks where there is NO COLOR! Of course I could go back but another 90 minutes of sitting there, frying my hair even more? I think not. I guess the takeaway is leave the cuts ONLY to Supercuts. Color is best left to a highly recommended salon. I could've spent less than $10 and done a better job myself. What's even worse? I was charged by the length of my hair..which was colored and then cut by FOUR INCHES! So I'm kicking myself..HARD. But I LOVED the cut...? read more

I went to this salon because it was close to my home, and was assigned to Dominique. I wanted a cut wash and dry prior to going on a cruise. She did a wonderful cut and styled my hair beautifully. (This was the day before I left for the cruise.) When I came home from from the salon, I realized I had lost my gold earrings I had removed for my hair cut. I called the salon, they had my earrings. I couldn't get to the salon before I left for the cruise. They said they would hold them for me until I returned from the cruise. I had to trust them, and they proved worthy of my trust. I called them as soon as I returned from the cruise, they still had my earrings! Dominique, Angel and Lizette turned out to be wonderful, trustworthy and great stylists!
