Very helpful on the phone answered all of my questions. Upon walking in I was greeted by Edward. It is a small salon, comfortable. Edward and I engaged in conversation, he listened to my issues with my hair and scalp and he was very attentive I wasn't exactly sure in my hair length I just knew I needed the dry hair out. He gave me long layers and kept as much of the length as he could he was fast and efficient. I love my hair it's still on the longer side and it's so much lighter. Was hoping a hairdresser would know who to shape my hair so it falls how I wanted it but he just gave me a trim instead. The one thing I tried to explain to him that I wanted gets done wrong. This is the First time I've visited Alta-Moda Salon. And I will never return. I spoke to Lesha and her tone of voice was rude and impatient while she was speaking with me. I told her it was my first time visiting and I wanted an appointment with their most popular hair dresser, she told me he was out to lunch. I made an appointment with her later at 2:45 pm that day. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and she made me wait 30 MINUTES over my appointed time to finish with another client, the rest of the salon was dead. She began to cut my hair DRY and was dead silent with me. The cut was good however the way she styled it at the end was HORRIBLE. I got bangs and she literally plaster them to my head and my hair was so curled afterwards that I looked like a poodle. I came in with very broken hair from a previous coloring with another stylist. I had baby lights that broke at the crown and the rest of the hair didn't blend, I also had about 1 inch of regrown looked horrible. Iesha did a partial hilight and balayaged the back and it looks beautifully blended, the breakage is barely noticeable because of it blends with the rest of the hair, the color is perfect! I must say im very pleased with Edward/Eduardo. ......I just moved here from the bay area in hopes to fine me an excellent hairstylist. ..and guess what I found him. He is legit! Knows alot gives you tips as he is cutting. I have thick curly hair and not always easy to work with especially because im mixed (black/Mexican) I do have trouble finding someone that can work with it not just cut cut ok bye come again...he actually worked with it asked how I usually wear it so he can cut accordingly and also I have damaged hair many split ends through out the whole body of my hair and he started off clipping off as much split ends as he could he had this lil trick on doing that which never have I ever seen just that alone sold me and coming back...shoot I think I'll just make appointments just to get the split ends cut off every so many weeks it really felt so much healthier and silky my boyfriend took notice. Can't wait for my mom to come visit so I can take her as she too is soo picky with her hair and how its cut. So I highly recommend coming to him.
