I've had my hair cut by every person that works here, also completely and totally messed up by Everyone except for Kim. I just got home and got a good look at my cut and once again I am livid. I've never been so upset about a haircut in my whole life. So upset that tears come pouring down my face. I've never wrote a review about any place before but I sincerely believe people should know what they are getting them selves into. I will never ever ever ever again come here. This place is a SCAM... What a difference a change in management makes! I used to come here for my easy guy-haircut, and even though it wasn't the best, I was new to SD and these guys had a college and military discount, which was great because I was both. Then this girl got promoted and left, and it was all down hill from there. There are 3 or 4 girls that are all super weird working in there, and a gay cashier guy with an attitude to boot. When I went to pay (probably my 10th haircut there), he informed me that they had never had a military discount. Hmmm thats weird. When I handed him my college ID, he said they didn't accept that either because it didn't have a goddamn 'ASB sticker' on the back (meaning that the only students who get discounts are the ones that PAY for the dumb coupon sticker, like being a broke student isn't reason enough for a discount). They also like to play a little 'bait-and-switch' with the 'shampoo'. Lady, I'm a grown-ass man with 2 inches of hair on my head, you don't need to shampoo my hair BEFORE cutting it. After they insist on shampooing your hair, they then tack on $3 to the price of your haircut, even though you never asked for it and they insisted. Fantastic Sams includes a shampoo for free, and only if you actually WANT it. Don't waste your time or money here.... read more

Went in and it was busy. So I made an appointment to come back in 30 minutes. When I got back I waited 10 more minutes then was called to a chair and told that they couldn't cut hair that was extensions. I told her I had been there before? She said it was a liability issue and it must have been a corporate location. Black girls don't waste your time. Went down the street to Fantastic Sam. Versatile and did a great job. read more

This was our first time here. Great customer service, but I think $23 is expensive for a child's haircut. It is $16 for 10 and under.

Every time I come here I end up with the worst haircut. The last 3 times I went here were the worst. I actually ended up shaving my head 2 times right when I got home because it was a wreck. I stopped going there for about a year but I had no choice because they were the only place open later on a Saturday (I give them credit for that) Once again, really bad, not shave my head bad but bad. I have been coming here for about 10 years. 90% of the time I love my haircut....sometimes its cut too short but I know it will grow back. The people that work here make the difference, they are always nice. So always remember, the hair will grow back. read more

The people here are often nice, but the girl who cut my hair was just getting lazy with it. I asked for long side bangs and told her exactly what I wanted and she proceeded to quickly part my hair the way I told her not to in the weirdest way, grab a chunk of my hair, and slide her scissors through it literally as scissors would slide when cutting wrapping paper in a matter of 5 seconds. I'm a very timid and non confrontational person so I just didn't say anything because what's done was done, but they are WAY shorter than I asked and after leaving, parting my hair the right way, and looking in the mirror I realized that they look so terrible. It's been about a month and a half and they haven't grown back at all and they're way too short to do anything with. The girl with the dark pixie/bob cut was the one who cut it and I'm just so over trying to style my impossible hair. It also only took about 1 minute and a half for the whole haircut (minus the shampooing) and I had to pay $25. After, I went up to the counter and she tried to sell me expensive tea tree shampoo and told me that was what she washed my hair with when I clearly saw her wash it with the Paul Mitchell shampoo. I'm sad because I have gone here a few times and never had any issues with the other ladies. read more

I'm done with big box hair places. Tried Great Clips...NOT GREAT. Tried Fantastic Sams...NOTNOTNOT FANTASTIC. Today tried Superclips and, sorry to say, NOTNOTNOTNOTNOT SUPER. She didn't get the concept. I didn't and won't complain to her or her manager, as I don't think it matters. Good thing I'm not vain and can laugh with friends, family and coworkers. read more

I dont want to be "that person" but this location needs some training. I went in on Thursday July 25th for a simple bang trim. I have long side swept bangs and specifically asked to thin them out a little and keep them whisky and blended to the rest of my hair. NOTHING CHOPPY and nothing shorter than past my eyebrow. They weren't that long and should have been a quick little snip snip and done within minutes. I have never had water spritz on my bangs and hairstylists usually know that that makes them shorter. I was in my lunch and and needed them quickly done since i had plans. I walked into the bathroom at work and noticed they were straight, heavy and very uneven. I came back and the manager seemed a little frantic trying to get a color done and fix my bangs. She chopped them and i know have baby choppy bangs! Specifically what i didnt want. They are so bad a cried. A simple trim turned into a 30 minute ordeal and even the first girl that cut them admitted they were short and bad. She was sweet but needs training. The manager ruined my bangs and I'm going to wear hats until they grow read more

This place isn't great. The haircut was mediocre and the girl who cut my hair was too busy recommending products and trying to wash my hair (by the way, thanks for telling me it was going to cost me more - I should have guessed but it was a nice surprise when I saw my bill) that she wasn't focusing on the actual haircut. Two stars because they give functional service. read more

If your looking for a haircut shop that you'll find just about anywhere, Supercuts is the place to go. This location is off the busy intersection of Rosecrans and Sport Arena. So naturally, it wouldn't be my first choice. It's a small shop with a decent sized parking lot. Like most Supercuts, the inside is a spitting image of the corporate brand and lacks individual flair. Thankfully, it's maintained well enough that I didn't notice any obvious flaws. There was only one stylist when I went in with one person ahead of me. Though I do not personally mind the extra time to do other things while I wait, I would imagine for those in a rush, this would be inconvenient. The haircut itself was fine, though you would have to go out of your way to mess up mine. I would like to see at least two employees on the floor at any given time here and for the love of interior design, I would like to see Supercuts build their locations to reflect the area it's in. Overall, Supercuts is a good place to get a haircut. This location gets the job done and is worth going to if in the area during off-hours. However, if it's rush hour or just after 5 p.m. on a weekday, you may be better off going somewhere else. read more

This is my go-to establishment when in desperate need for a cut and trim. I get off the plane, head straight over, and get the works...cut, beard trim, shampoo, tea-tree treatment, and massage. Trust me, it's worth it after flying all day. They always take their time and pay much attention to detail. Highly recommended!! read more

Watch out for shady business. Griselda sold my 93 year old father, who has dementia, a 2 oz product that he can't use for $21 and then took a $25 tip. So his $21 hair cut cost him $67. I called to complain and she was very rude and dismissive. She had no remorse for taking advantage of him. Shameful!!! read more

Cecily has been coloring and cutting my hair for a few years. Cecily is amazing! She is super helpful and sweet and listens to exactly what I want each time I come in. She has given me good advice on what colors would go great with my hair and how to maintain the color that I like as well. I reviewed here before and not sure why it was not posted. There seem to be a lot of disgruntled customers so I thought I would say some nice stuff...Grease is GREAT. I moved out of the neighborhood so I have not been in for a cut in quite a while but am making a trip back as she actually listens to the customers and you get the cut you ask for. She is not hard sell, but does recommend products but she works there so she should do that. I don't buy the products but don't mind that she asks. She is efficient and courteous. The only reason I gave 4 stars is you can't make an appointment you just have to show up when they are on shift and that is inconvenient but other than that I am greatly satisfied and price is reasonable. read more

I came with my girlfriend here today and she came to get a haircut and signed herself in, nothing out the ordinary, this was our second time and our first time being a very pleasant visit . As we sit in the store, this lady comes in and request to get a haircut and the hairstylist told her a 20 to 30 Min and the lady literally said she didn't have time cause she has work. I really thought the stylist would tell her sorry or something like that but literally they put her next. What is that ? We were waiting patiently. So I guess now you can just barge in and say you can't wait that long and you'll be next. You guys should really put this people to the side and make them wait how we did. This experience was underwhelming. It's honestly those people's fault for running late. They should plan accordingly on the things they do rather then barging in like that and not taking inconsideration on the people that sign in and wait. read more
