If you're in search of a good men's haircut, ask for Sonny or Mindy. I know there are haters of SuperCuts out there, but if you want a good, quick, clean, and cheap haircut, this is the place. I get my haircut once every three weeks and I don't need to drop $60 a pop for some guy named "Pierre" from Modesto with a fake French accent. The stylists are always friendly and the place is always clean. If you go on weekends, expect a 20 minute wait unless you've made an appointment first ... yes, they do take appointments. read more

Ladies are Asian and impressive there. That's what I noticed in the reviews posted by other guys here. :) The salon is okay for the price and quality it delivers and you get to talk to someone cute with sweet Asian accent which makes the overall experience awesome. The worst ever and completely non-sensical. I gave her the numbers I usually get for the side and top. The next thing, she took a trimmer and shaved over my head. She took 5 minutes to run the trimmer on all sides, no water, no comb, no scissors nothing and here's your haircut. They just wanted to get it done and get people out of there. She had no sense whatsoever why someone with a decent length of hair would suddenly want to trim down to the scalp. It was almost as if 90% of the people she gets want their head shaved and that's what she expects from everyone who comes there. read more

It's a junk place. I took my daughter for haircut and they said 45 minutes wait time. I checked in and waited for 50 minutes and they didn't call us. I went and asked how far along we are in the queue (after 50 minutes of waiting with a 6 year old), she said another 25 to 30 minutes, what rubbish? Their reservation system is not honored. After checking online for an 11:30 appointment "First Available" I showed up 2 mins early to learn "there is only one other person ahead of you, which seemed okay. Then they silently tapped three other patrons on the shoulder to take them ahead of me. After 40 minutes, I walked out disgusted. Sure, regular customers get better treatment. I had been getting a haircut there every six weeks for three years, so I guess am not one of the best customers. But don't lie to a loyal customer like that. I will find another salon. read more

this is asking me to give stars, I cant even give 1 star to this. this is my first visit to supercuts. I am not sure whether they are entirely as a brand so worst or it was just this particular branch or just that particular hair dresser. My experience was extremely awful. I don't have any words to describe such worst hair cut experience. I have paid 20 dollars plus 10% tip (as my husband don't want to cut any tip), but the hair cut was so bad that its not worth even a single dollar. Most important, it was not about 20 dollars. i have paid much more also for my hair cut in the past in other places but that was worth spending. I have taken this hair cut after 1 month & i have long hair with volume. I end up having my hair destroyed. She has cut it like the mouse has eaten my hair. The worst part is still not here, she was so ill mannered. She was literally shouting at me like -this is not possible in your hair or that is also not possible in your hair. I told you this . I told you that. I cant do anything abut this. She didn't have the courtesy to tell me her name. She was finished in just 2 mins with my hip length hair. I will never visit this place or for my hair safety Supercuts ever again. I hate this experience. I was returned horrified with the way she treated me and my long hair completely destroyed. This place doesn't even deserve a star. I will never go back there again ever! It was the worse experience of my life. If you want to have a professional haircut, please DO NOT go to this place. I asked for an A-line bob hair cut and showed the picture as well, but I didn't get what I wanted. It is too bad that I didn't get that lady's name. I had to stop her from cutting my hair because she randomly cut it HELLA short. Both sides were not even equal and it was a F* straight hair cut! REALLY? Been three times, first time very good cut, second time average, third time terrible. Uneven choppy bangs, asked for a bob, got one length on sides and longer length in back. Could tell hair cutter was very new, did not even dampen hair before cutting. Please don't put staff on the floor until they can cut half way decently. Will have to get it recut this week somewhere else, it's that bad. read more

Everyone here seemed in a bad mood when I came in, and I usually hate getting a haircut here because I feel like the ladies rush me and talk smack to one another the whole time they cut peoples hair in vietnamese, but the girl that did my hair a few nights ago was a cute brunette girl who was easy to talk to, that i could understand and spoke english, showed me how to style my hair a different way then i normally do and gave me a great haircut in less then 20 minutes...i'm a fan! read more

TERRIBLE/TRASH employee attitude, WORST experience, BAD service. Been going here for 9 years and now it stops, like drop dead stops, I don't even want to give them the benefit of doubt because I have already done that. The all asian girls (no surprise) saloon has been going downhill (both service and courtesy wise) for a while now, the stylists talk a lot and talk trash about the patrons sitting right there (it's silly but asians can't use sarcasm if their depended on it..). Plain rude and audacious, maybe because there is no check, it reflects in the brazenness of these girls. There are maybe 1 or 2 of the stylists who behaves mature but thats it, I try not to make appointments with the good ones and just walking as I shouldn't have to take an appointment to avoid the trash (there should be no trash.), clearly it doesn't work. It is the usual 1st generation asian women thing I guess, they are all too impressed with "any and all" white men (apparently for successfully f***ing up their home countries), and treat any non-white with less of everything and worst, it did not stop me from tipping the usual 30% that I always do (you should too!) unfortunately I will not go back, amazingly the experience was so bad that leaving after 9 years doesn't seem tough at all =) Maybe it's the pressure of the job and the menial pay that make the employees irate and desperate to make fun of the very people who literally pay for their salaries, maybe that is their day's high point, but it shouldn't be. If the management is listening, please invest in your employees' training, work-life-balance, communication, behavior and remuneration (although this last one should not decide how an employee behaves around paying customers). Hopefully I did not come across as cynical. It's a funny oxymoron, asians being racists to other asians (it is not a surprise though, just did not expect this in a service facility)!! maybe caused by low self esteem, a guess. Help them management. And yes, very bad haircut too. Seeing the other reviews in here their have been pretty good at F***ing with their non-white customers, and don't care about Yelp, good going!! Odalys is a great receptionist she always sounds friendly over the phone and when I call late she double checks with the hair stylist over the phone if I can be put down for a call ahead. So far I have had my hair cut , colored ,and styled with just about everyone but kathy, Cody, Janette, lily, and Tracy are my top 5. For color cut and style kathy and lily are the best they know exactly what they are doing , they let you know right away if the service will not look exactly like the pictures I show them or recommend something better fit for me. For my bangs I go to Janette she knows exactly what I want I don't even have to remind her when I come because she has such great memory. If Janette isn't available I try getting in with kathy( but kathy is super popular too so call early for these two) or Tracy. Tracy is so friendly and funny I love talking with her she's also my go to when I need to wax my eyebrows. Tracy does exactly what I ask and she always hands me the mirror to double check if I'm happy with shape after waxing, then she goes in with her tweezers for my little stubborn hairs. Then there's Cody "superman" he can literally do it all and he makes you feel great /welcomed as soon as you sit in his chair. Cody is not only an amazing hair stylist but he is also like a free therapist lol and not only for me but a lot of customers. You can tell he genuinely cares for all his clients . read more

I am extremely disappointed and upset about visiting and getting hair done with Super cuts. I wish I had an option to not give any stars. This is my first visit to super cuts and I visited to get my hair styled and set for the long weekend. The so called stylist did not understand what I was asking and then I showed her the picture of the actual hair cut and set that was done 2 weeks ago in a different salon and requested her to set it up the same way. She did not know how to straighten the hair and half my hair looks bad. After everything is done I let her know that it does not look like how my hair supposed to look and she told me that it will set after I sleep and wake up (it is a ridiculous response!!!!). I just wanted to leave the place and she just ruined the start of my happy long weekend party. The only reason I went to this place, since it was on the way to my home and I will never go back here again. And $35 for this so called styling is money put down the drain!!!! read more

I went to supercuts awhile ago for a hair cut....I was extremely happy to get the exact look I was looking for by Amy.....so I thought I would go back to add some highlights and touch up my base color.....big mistake....Amy is a sweetheart however she totally has no idea what she is doing when it comes to dying hair...the nice golden brown color I was looking for was far from what I got...she started off with my tips because they were lighter...big mistake....they were so much darker then the rest of my hair...she told me we have to start over because she messed up....well at this time I have already been there for 2 hours and I don't have time for highlights....So they had to go way darker with red in it to fix the mistake....I now look gothic because my hair is sooo dark....they want me to come back for highlights.....fat chance....they are great for hair cuts....if you want your hair colored I suggest making an appointment with the manager....she was the one who told them how to fix my hair but was unable to work on mine due to her being booked with two customers coming in for coloring as well.......let's just say I don't think I'll be back! read more

I'm extremely disappointed of how the manager handles re visits. 3 days ago I got a haircut everything looked fine until I got home and I saw the other side of my head was not cut right and was not even from the other side of my head. I called for a revisit and I came today to double check if this can be done today, the new manager pulls me aside outside the business and spoke to me about how many times I've revisited to get my haircut redone. Funny thing is that I DO NOT come to this place often to get a haircut, the last time I was year was probably over 6 months ago with probably 2-3 visits and the manger told me I had a revisit with everyone. I told him to print me out the data that these events happened and he said he will but he never did after the conversation was done. I'm suppose to have an appointment today to have my uneven haircut done but please take this review as a cancel because now I feel so discouraged to deal with the manager and to even come back as I was so turned off by the lack of accommodations the manager hand for my request. What a waste of time and money!! I went there a few days ago and forced myself to wait before posting a comment about them cause I was so pissed off! I just had a baby and havent been to the hairdresser for a while, so this was a little treat to relax a bit...well that did not happened at all! The guy who took care of my hair gave me the worst massage EVER! Dude was SCRATCHING my scalp as if it was itching or something, that was horrible, and then after my 'haircut", dried my hair 5 sec while brushing my hair twice and take off the cape or whatever you call it off my shoulders. When I asked him if he could brush my hair some more, he just said "no, cause it's more expensive it's 35$ if you want me to do it, it's better that you do it yourself at home"...Uuuh thank you for making decisions for me, and OMG 35 freaking dollars for blowdry and style!!! nobody is shocked by that?? This place is terrible...absolutely terrible. I have no words. I called them to see their hours and to see if I still had time to walk over and get my hair cut. I called at around 5:45 and I asked the woman if I could just walk in really quick to get my hair cut. And she says, "I suppose so..." So I head over there because I live just down the street. I arrived there at around 5:55 and the door was already locked...the woman I talked to was at the front desk and I was signaling to tell her that I'm the one that called to say I was coming. And guess what she says. She says, "were not taking anyone else." ARE YOU SERIOUS?? Completely just wasted my time walking over there to be turned away. I really do not believe that she would actually do that. And another thing I've been going to this place for a while and the barbers that work there are all so rude, unprofessional, and they act like you're being a burden on them when you ask them to fix something. This place is just terrible and I would strongly recommend that you don't go to this place. If only yelp lets you give 0 stars. They're nowhere near deserving of this one star. read more
