I'm giving three stars because one of the girls working tonight was great but the other one was awful so what I am really doing is writing a complaint. We came in tonight for my wife and son to get their hair done ((they each get the same cut a very short cut where one side is short all the way up and the other side is layered down from the top. The wife calls it a gentlemen's cut. Basically when you think of military haircuts from the 40s)) anyways, the woman named Elina/Alina who did our sons hair didn't really know what she was doing, and didn't listen to my wife and cut both of the sides of his hair all the way up essentially giving him this Mohawk type look. I looked over as she finished buzzing the side of his head that wasn't suppose to be buzzed. My wife was getting her hair done by Marissa while this was going on and Marissa went over to let Elina/Alina know she had done his hair wrong and Elina/Alina SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS like she didn't even care!! Now our son has Christmas pictures tomorrow and his hair is manageable to comb over and still make it look nice ((thank goodness)) but what really ticked me off more than anything wasn't even that she messed it up because she wasn't listening when it was explained in detail what needed done. It was the fact that when she was told she did it wrong she shrugged her shoulders as to say "well f you I don't care". Marissa did not have us pay for our sons haircut (THANK YOU) and was very sweet when I told her that I was annoyed. So if you want your hair messed up by someone who doesn't care about the customer then see Elina/Alina. If you want a great job and someone who is very caring and nice go to Marissa. read more

Most unorganized Super Cuts ever. Called to put my name on the list and went there after 30 minutes like the lady had instructed. Waited there for an hour just to be skipped and later told that I was behind two people. It was like I was starting all over again. Some of the ladies here do not know how to be straight up with the wait times. I watched them quote six people for only an hour. Yeah right. read more

I've been coming to this Supercuts for 15 years & every single visit has been a wonderful experience. Tammie & the rest of the staff are super friendly, and really go above and beyond here. I will continue going out of my way just to go to this location. They recently renovated the store also & it looks great! read more

Customer service skills needs improvement. I went about 1 week ago, my brother needed a cut. I understand that supercuts isn't a babershop but by the time he was off work all the barbershops were closed, so we had no other choice (they should not advertise for mens cut). When the girl finished him up she mentioned that they couldn't really do line ups. When I saw his I was pissed! He had no line, it was just a mess and his cut looked patchy! So I went inside to talk to the "hair stylist" she replied, "we are not a babershop, you know what that is?" And of course I know what a babershop is. That was just rude and disrespectful! I just did not find any of her comments amusing, she had grin and was laughing a little. The manager was very friendly and fixed his hair. Thankfully someone knew how to do the job right. I absolutely do not recommend this place. $19 for bad cut not worth it. read more

Thank you Edna, for my "Supercut." A couple days ago, I had decided at the last minute to get a hair cut after having put it off for years since my hair dresser had retired. I pulled up to this shop and read the only two comments on Yelp. It was 50/50 so I gave it a shot. Well, I'm glad I did...I only had to wait 15 minutes, Edna was polite and gracious. She suggested a wonderful special hot conditioning for my hair; plus she suggested "long layers" for a bouncy style. She finished off my hair with a blow dry. Edna took my far too long, frizzy, dull hair and created bouncing silky soft flowing layers. My friends and family are saying it has taken at least 10 years off me...again...Thanks Edna. Hands Down best place to get your haircut! I underestimated this place until one day I had to get a hair cut and just went in since then Tammi and her staff have accommodated My needs and My auntie who is in a wheelchair today we went in for hair cuts (we checked in through their website),by the time we arrived we waited about 15 minutes and my auntie was seen (they moved their chair and allowed her to get her haircut in her wheelchair) forgive me as I didn't get the stylist name (pregnant with glasses would describe her and very sweet ) she was very patient and delicate. If you intend to call ahead and be put on the wait list, avoid this shop. I called ahead and was told the wait was an hour and they would put my name on the list. showed up in an hour and the wait was 40 min to an hour. I asked about the list and was told it wasn't an appointment and people came in. What the... If there is a call ahead process, these employees don't get it. Spoke to the manager and she was no help at all. I'll avoid going here again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have gone to Supercuts with no problems for years up until my first bad encounter with a very bad haircut 2 years ago where the hairdresser did everything I said not to do. I cried for 2 weeks and stayed away for 2 years. However, yesterday I decided it was probably a fluke and just that particular hairdresser and I went back in today since it had been so long. I went in for a cut and color. I asked when I called how much the color would be and was told they could not give me a price over the phone. So I made an appointment and went in. She cut my hair which was fine and then she asked me about the color. Then she gave me the price which was $85. I thought that was extremely high for a Supercuts job but she is assured me that it included everything when she saw my eyes get gigantic and said don't worry that's the full price. Reluctantly, I went ahead and did it thinking I never treat myself so I'll do this. She colored my hair and my forehead, (which I had to remove myself when I got home, though she attempted to and pretended like she accomplished removing the thick black dye line that stretched from one ear to the other), blowdried my hair poorly, and flat iron my hair poorly. She told me I was done then proceeded to charge me $115. I said you told me everything was included. She said that she meant only the color was included but the cut was $20 and the style was $10. Then another stylist told her no the style is included so it went down to $105. That is the last time I will be going to Supercuts. I realize they are a rinky-dink hair salon in the first place but for years they did exactly what I said every time I went in. And I was always complimented by perfect strangers and asked where I got my hair done. But I'm done now for sure. read more

Took me a while to decide to write this review. First I'll say this they are very polite there and this is about services that were performed. I've been a loyal supercuts client for a few years. My last stylist was my stylist for the past 9 years. She moved and this site is closer than her old salon she worked at, so I decided hey why not. The girl that cut my hair was awesome she cut my hair really well I was super happy. So I decided, hey she seems like she enjoys what she does and she looks like she cares about hair. So I decided next time I needed to color I'd go see her. So a week and a half past and I really wanted to change my hair. I was tired of my boring pain look. So I went in to see her, the Dane girl who initially cut my hair. She took my level 5 to level 7 to do a baybalage. I wanted caramel but she made me blonde like crazy blonde almost white. It looked really good like the first few hours but then it started to change to a brassy tin copper penny look. I've got heavy red under tones which I stated like 5 times. Anyhow I didn't notice until I got home that my shirt was also damaged by the bleach (which they took care of and reimbursed me). Anyhow I went back and she toned it but it kept changing back to brassy nasty copper penny looking hair. I went to a different salon and had them trim off as much as possible to get rid of the gummy over processed fried hair. Went to Sally beauty supply and got a blue violet to tone it more. I got it to turn into a warm honey blonde but it still looked like crap. So I waited 15 days and put in a light auburn in my overpriced and over processed tresses. I spent $190 for a baybalage that I had to fix ( can't believe I topped her $15), yes she toned it but not enough. This was the worse salon experience I ever had. I truly don't recommend anyone getting their hair done at this specific salon. I went in on a whim and thought that I couldn't go wrong but all in all I've spent like $400 on hair supplies such as toner, shampoos, leave in conditioners, and styling aids to keep my hair from looking like crap. She dealt me a sh×#*# hand on touching my hair. My hair was finally getting long and I had to chop off like 4 inches more from when she initially trimmed my ends. Now I'm back to medium length hair after trying to grow my hair back out to the middle of my back. If you truly value your hair and want it to be healthy please go somewhere else. I will never step foot in this salon ever again. I don't care how far I've got to drive to get to a decent stylist. Btw my hair wasn't in bad condition when I went to this salon I had only touched up the roots like 3 wks prior and she didn't touch my top just my ends. It looked so bad I wanted to chop it all off into a pixie again. But I called my old stylist and she walked me through what to do. Thank god for her!!! read more

I came here after I saw a friend had gotten her hair done by Danielle and just by looking at Danielle's instagram i knew I had to go to her. She is an expert at color , she gave me exactly what I was looking for and was so attentive to my wants . Days later my hair still looks so beautiful and looks and feels SO HEALTHY . The nerve of some people to call themselves "hair stylists". I took my 12 year old in as well as my 5 year old to get their hair cut (obviously). My 12 year old son had the surfer style cut and asked for a "trim", the lady cut it above his ears and still charged him! My 5 year old daughter cut her own hair, I took her in to get it fixed and requested a very short style, the lady who cut her hair, REFUSED to go shorter than she had even after my persistent request!! I didn't go back for a month when I just took my 9 year old son in to get his hair cut, he asked for a spike, I even told the lady the numbers to use on his hair. She couldn't even follow that. His hair is still long and now very choppy. The worst part is that with each of those 3 children of mine, they all had different "stylists"! Over the past two weeks both my daughter and i went in to get our hair cuts fixed after having really bad errors occur on previous cuts done elsewhere. My daughter's hair looks amazing now. They cut it exactly as we asked. Mine is finally back to how I like it. Again they cut it exactly as I asked them to. What a difference a good haircut can make. What a difference having someone listen and do what you ask makes! We had the haircuts done on different days by different stylists and we have very different hair. This place is absolutely horrible! Worst place to get your haircut if you actually care about your appearance. There are only maybe two stylists that know what they are doing. They could not handle cutting even my uncle's hair which is cut very short all around. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT HERE! read more

I have to be impressed/blown away for me to leave a review. I can't say enough about our hairdresser Danielle from Supercuts! I had been looking for a hairdresser for my daughter for years. She took the time to explain to both my daughter (age 12) and myself what she would be doing in a way that we both understood. Danielle washed, deep conditioned, blowed dried and straighten my daughters kinky curly hair. I have never seen my daughter's hair look so straight, shiny, and healthy. I am so happy that we finally found "our girl" for both my daughters, and my hair. read more

Supercuts on Sweetwater road in Spring Valley is a horrible place to go for anything hair related. The Manager has a terrible attitude , she is rude and is less than knowledgable, she tries to talk like she knows something but doesn't do what you ask her to, a simple trim turns into an uneven mess, If you go in for color they tell you it's permanent, not at all, it washes out in 2 shampoos, Most of the stylists are young and right out of school. If I want a haircut from a beginner I will go to a school and pay a lot less! There are much better salons out there, do your homework , read reviews, don't waste your money! read more
