I'm so glad this happened because when she was told not to worry about it I found someone to fix my hair. She asked if I wanted to come in on Tuesday when she's known for 12 years I work 12 hour days. I had no expectations of her coming in but she offered to take then out but would not put them back in. I always had my sister color or cut my hair. But life has become busy and my sister cannot do my hair any more these days. I gave a soon another shot. After stumbling upon Got Color? Here on yelp, I took the dive. I am so glad I did! Shasta took my hair and my fears and made everything beautiful ! I can't say enough good things about her and her salon. She is an amazing person and she does an amazing job. She cares about and loves her work. I met Shasta (the owner of Got Color Salon) through a friend who has been her client for a couple of years now. The first time I went I was thinking it was gunna just be small talk blah blah blah... Nope Shasta is so real and open and amazing!!!! She always makes you feel encouraged and welcomed and she is so empowering to everyone! My 4 year old son and I went the next time because we were getting ready to go his friends funeral and let me tell you she took his mind off of all of that allowed him to play around and got the job done! She is so amazing she isn't just a stylist she is now a friend after only ever meeting her a few times! "Got Color? Salon" is the best there is. This is all because of the owner Shasta. She is one of the nicest people I know. She is professional, courteous and listens to what her clients want. Even if you don't know what you want she is patient with you and will help figure it out. I know this through experience. Her knowledge of hair color is vast and incomparable to others. The very first time Shasta colored my hair I had so many compliments and it hasn't changed 5 years later. Her cuts are always great and better than I can imagine. "Got Color? I was referred to Annette at Got Color by a girlfriend in Spring Valley. I came in hoping she could help me lighten up my black hair that I had repeatedly dyed black for approx 5 years. I had a lengthy consultation where we reviewed multiple inspiration photos and discussed adding…read moredepth and dimension while maintaining a dimensional bronde look with lighter ends. My hair had become brassy and I just wanted to add low lights and some dimension. I showed many, many photos to make it clear what I wanted. Unfortunately, the final result was drastically different from what I requested. Much of the interior and underside of my hair was colored a very dark brunette tone, creating a flat, heavy appearance rather than the dimensional look shown in the photos we reviewed. The ends of my hair look completely black, nothing like the photos I showed. The issue wasn't that my hair became darker overall. I expected more depth and lowlights. The issue was that much of the brightness and dimension was lost, particularly underneath, leaving large sections of the hair looking like one solid dark color. To Cynthia's credit, she did offer to adjust the color by adding highlights and ultimately provided a full refund when I explained that I was no longer comfortable proceeding with additional processing since my first request was so misunderstood and poorly executed. While I appreciate her efforts to make things right afterward, the final result did not reflect the look we spent significant time discussing beforehand. I'm honestly still devastated.

From making my appointment all the way through the end, Deidre and Drusill were sweet, helpful and…read moreprofessional. Drusill was ready for me on time. I was her first appointment of the morning and the whole appointment was approximately 2.5 hours. I estimated that it would be about 3 hours, so I was pleased that it was less time than that. She did a trim, press and curl for me. I originally wanted to cut my hair short, but Drusill was honest with me about how it would look since it was so thin. I appreciated her honesty and 30 years of experience. Therefore, I decided to trim it, rather than cutting most of it off. In the end, it turned out nice.
