Was told I needed an appointment even though the website didn't say I needed one. Last time I made one, I was told it didn't matter as long as they're open. First time I was ever turned away and was given the excuse that "they're busy tonight" even though there was an hour left of operation and NOBODY in the store. Stylist didn't seem to be very interested in answering my questions and gave me the same response of "we're busy" over and over. Never had customer service here this bad before in my life. read more

Didn't think it was even possible to be as rude as their staff members are to customers. Chris is the worst. Seemed like an okay dude but can't even give a simple hair cut. Yeah okay you guys were busy but is that why you had to rush through my hair and completely chop the top? Told him what I wanted and the dude didn't even listen to what I had to say. Seems more focused on himself than the customers. Learn some manners man. It's not cool to be a complete jerk to some customers then be as happy as can be with others. After a year of cutting my hair on the home front due to COVID I decided to return to my stylist salon of choice, Supercuts. Unfortunately, my shop of choice (Rancho Cucamonga Foothill Blvd. location) had closed it's doors for good in the interim. I was sorry to see them go. As a result, I tried the Colonies at Crossroad in Upland and found it to be my new favorite location. I must have timed it right, as there was no wait as I entered the salon. My assigned stylist was Lyndi and I found her to be courteous, professional, talented and a great listener to understand my hair styling needs. 2 stylists on duty. Had an appointment for a men's cut, but they kept saying they're 2 ahead of you. 45 minutes past my appt. time... still no one finished. I have been going to this location for over 8 years, and I am very satisfied. I drive from San Dimas just to have Lupe cut my hair. Why? Lupe is the best. I repeat, the best! In fact, on Monday, 7/9/18, I called and made a 3:30 appointment because Lupe was off at 4; however, stuff happened and I knew I couldn't make 3:30 so I called back Lupe to cancel. She said she would wait for me. I arrived at 4:50 and Lupe cut and tea treed me. She even had her mom pick up her son so she could finish our business. Got a haircut at another Supercuts location but I needed to get my cut corrected to be more even so I stopped by this location after doing my lashes next door. The staff was super friendly and the manager herself came out and touched up all of my hair at no charge. Excellent customer service! Which is worse? This particular location or the website? The answer is both are equally terrible. The company has a website that functions very poorly it always thinks I'm in Akron Ohio and I'm actually in Southern California. Anyway the website shows each salon and what the wait time is except most of them don't show a wait time and if they do it's not accurate but more often it says call now and if you call now as happened today they said come on in they didn't tell me how many people were there what the wait time was etc. when I got there the wait time was actually 40 minutes. I have to admit I was very short with whomever came to help me and finally when I said that this review would be very negative he told me he could fit me right in. At whose expense? the people who are sitting there legitimately? No thanks I'll go elsewhere and not Supercuts. You might ask why don't you use the check me in now option? Because it doesn't work. Even if you go to that option it will soon say check me in is unavailable. This is not a one time only problem. I usually call and get a reasonable estimate of the time unlike today. Lauren did an amazing job on my hair! She took into consideration the different ways to create the exact color I was looking for and showed me different samples for the color. So my stylist Chris recently transferred here. He is by far one the best I have ever had. I completely trust him with all my hair care needs. Every time I go in there the staff is always so friendly and helpful. Chris makes sure that I leave completely satisfied. I rave about him to all my family and friends. This place is the worst in customer service, customer respect and overall service. Went in there with an appointment and still sat for a long time while two walk in guys got immediate service. When I asked the girl if there was a reason for the delay she replied "No, we just do the easy cuts first"....needless to say, I walked out. It was very rude and the hairstylist never acknowledged me even when I said hello and let her know I had made my appointment with her. I was on time and I think it was very rude to have me wait a long time. I'll never go to any Supercuts again!! They're all rude, in my opinion. read more

It has been over a year since my previous visit to this location. I did not use the app to schedule an appointment as it previously proved unreliable. I did call in advance and put my name on the list. Over the phone, I received an honest time estimate. ON arrival, I was greeted by Elise and taken to get a scissor haircut promptly. Turns out around 2:30 is a slow period as the lunch crowd is gone and parents are busy picking up school age kids. I have no special cut requirements, but Elise did a very nice job. She talked me into getting a Tea Treatment shampoo/hot towel, scalp massage after my haircut. That was the best $14 I will ever spend. Highly recommend the extra time and expense. Back when I complained in a previous review about my experience, the store reached out to me to try to rectify the situation. I did not respond and took my business elsewhere. So I can say they tried to keep my business. I am glad I went back today. I will go back again. read more

It's my first time here and I already love it. I'm getting my hair colored so I know I'll be here for a few hours. Just in the few minutes I was waiting for my turn it can tell I was in a great environment. Every girl was personable and you can tell they have lots of returning customers . They knew everyone by name and remembered details about them which they probably shared in past visits. Talk about awesome customer service. It's a pretty busy day but everyone is flowing in and out pretty quickly. I'm not from this area but I would definitely drive the 40 minutes to return for the customer service alone. read more

Not for children as the business info states. Stylist kept telling my child that if he/she didn't stop moving she was either going to cut herself or my child. Over and over again. Who does this to a child? My child was traumatized, so thanks for that! If the stylist needed help, all she had to do was ask me to stand up and hold his/her head still. (which I did finally). I also explained exactly how I wanted it cut (clean around ears and back of neck) and afterwards the hair looked exactly the same - like I never even came in. ??? Overpriced hair dye for mediocre job. My daughter wanted to dye her hair one color to get rid of her lightened sun in ombré hair we did last year. I had called and made an appointment with Lupe. Appointment was for 6:30pm last night. She asked if we can get there earlier and I told her I get off of work at 6:00pm. I said I will try to get off of work early. I did leave work early at 5:30pm and we got there close the 6:00pm. When we got there and she was working on a client. She said wait for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes she took my daughter back and I told her to dye her hair one color dark brown to be liked her natural hair color. She dyed it and then she went back to her other client that she was doing when we got there. My daughter had to wait 45 minutes for the dye to set. Lupe told another associate to wash my daughter's hair since she was still with that other client doing a bleach job. So at the end my daughter's hair seems darker on the roots like black color and lighter on the ends. Her scalp was stained black. The associate didn't clean it up when she washed her hair. I got charged $70. I didn't even want to take my daughter here. I wanted to take my daughter to my stylist. But she didn't want to wait since my stylist is on vacation. So we decided to try this place out and asked for the manager thinking she would do a good job. Needless to say she double booked and didn't do a good job. I probably would done a better job if I dye it myself at home. read more

I have been coming to this location for a few months and the service has been OK. Today I called ahead and gave my name and I was told the wait was 30 minutes. I get to the location two guys are waiting and when I checked on my name I'm told it was not written down by the person who answered the phone. I told them the time that I called and I expected to be helped next but the person running the shop called the other two guys instead.. No apology until a person one hour later (from the time I called) told me she was ready for me. I guess customer service is not their strength. Plenty of other places to get a haircut. read more

Every time I come here they're busy but always very nice! Love how you can use the app or call in and check in so you're not waiting a long time to get a hair cut! The only down side is they can be pricy. Most places will have their blow dry prices up for one to see but I was quoted $35 on top of the $21 hair cut plus tip so of course I opted to leave with wet hair which I was upset about because I had things to do and my hair dries and frizzes up the stylist offered to put something in my hair to minimize it but she never did, in fact she was talking I think just to talk but I felt like I was talking back to a wall. When I got there at 10 they said there were still 2 ahead of me (so they only did 2 people in an hour??). Anyway, I waited, (there were 3 in the lobby), they called one guy, then another guy, (I figured I was next because that was two), it's now 10:30. Then they call the third person, not me! So the two I was told ahead of me when I got there was now 3???? And they only did one person in the hour between 9 and 10???? Or were they screwing with me???? I usually go to this location because they give very good haircut. However, today (9/22/2016) I had the worst service ever. I called in and asked how long the wait she said there are 2 people waiting and to come on in so thinking it would only be a 15-20 minute wait I left right away. When I got there she now told me there was about 6 people in front of me; I waited. Then all of a sudden the computer system went down and they were only accepting cash payment (which made multiple people leave but I know they had no control over that). So I said I would be right back and as I was leaving they got a walk-in (drove to the bank for cash). When I came back they were helping the walk-in and two other people came in that I didn't see before. They took one of them before me...at this point I have already been waiting there for over an hour. I asked them is my name still on the list?? and they said your next (which I believe was a lie and they forgot about me because the system was done) I was furious at this point. The reason they took so long because they had three people but only one of them was cutting hair at a reasonable speed. 1st person: Sitting at the computer the entire time trying to fix it (Wasting time could of taken someone) 2nd person: She spend almost 40 minutes to 1 hour on a single person 3rd person: She was doing a good job (I didn't get names, sorry) Although they do give me a good haircut every time I go I'm never going back because of the lack of service I received this time. Total Time Waiting with haircut: 1 hour 40 minutes (6pm - 7:40) I rarely do reviews but this is one the worst experiences I have ever had with a hair salon. read more
