I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Andie! From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us with a smile and asked if we were looking for anything in particular. We were shopping for a curling iron for an upcoming event, and instead of simply pointing us in the right direction, she personally walked us over to the hair care section and took the time to help my daughter and me choose the best option. Andie thoroughly explained the differences between the various curling irons, demonstrated the proper curling technique using the display, and even showed us a heatless styling method that we really appreciated. Her knowledge made it so much easier to understand what would work best for our needs. I also had so many questions about frizz and overall hair health, and Andie patiently answered every one of them. She recommended excellent products to help keep our hair healthy and even offered to help us book a salon appointment for my daughter to get a light dusting. 1-Star Review -- Disappointing First Experience This was my teenage daughter's first experience at an Ulta Salon, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. We originally booked online, but the morning of the appointment we were notified that our stylist called out sick. We were rebooked with Liz for 11:15 AM, and we arrived at 11:05 AM--10 minutes early, which I felt was a reasonable amount of time to check in, settle in, and discuss the color my daughter wanted for the new school year. Instead, we were immediately scolded for arriving "too early." While we waited patiently as Liz finished with another client, we repeatedly overheard her commenting to someone else about how early we had arrived. I even questioned whether I had misunderstood our appointment time and politely asked another associate to verify it. She confirmed 11:15 AM. At 11:35, Liz finally came to get us and sarcastically said, "I can see you guys now, sorry I'm 3 minutes late," because she apparently believed our appointment was at 11:30. Even after I explained that I was certain the appointment was at 11:15 and had confirmation on my end, she insisted that I was wrong. The time was never the issue--the attitude and unnecessary defensiveness were. There was never an apology or acknowledgment of the confusion. Unfortunately, the service itself was also disappointing. We paid over $300 expecting the deep blue color my daughter requested, but the result was uneven and a murky green rather than what we discussed. It was presented as a "cool ombré," but that was not the look we asked for. The experience was uncomfortable enough that even my daughter noticed and said afterward, "Mom, that lady seemed really mean to us." That really says it all. I will not be booking with Liz again, and this experience has unfortunately made me hesitant to return to an Ulta Salon. Customer service matters, especially when someone is spending $300+ and trusting you with their hair. Liz could really benefit from working on her tone, professionalism, and ability to take accountability when there is a scheduling disconnect. read more

She's an expert in hair correction and lighting hair. As the session continued she gave me tips on hair care products to keep my hair healthy and maintain color. Highly recommend her, takes really good care of customers. If this Ulta was closer I would come to her regularly. If I ever mess up my hair again, I will definitely book her again read more

Upland Colonies Crossroads is the BEST I am a senior disabled with my mobility and when I arrived at the store the associates were notified that I needed help finding my items. These three little Angels came to my rescue their names are Cassandra, Guadalupe and Stephanie all three (3) was patient and courteous with me. I was able to purchase everything that I needed without leaving my seat. These young ladies came with the items that I needed and purchased them. They went far and beyond their call of duty. Went to Ulta for make up and hair for a wedding- Jasmine did a wonderful job. I showed her my inspiration photo and she made it happen. My make up stayed set the entire night- and my hair- styled in a messy bun, stayed put the entire night! It was windy, I danced all night and my hair and make up still looked flawless and set. My hair did not come undone. I maybe just had to retouch my lip gloss but thats expecting at an event with food and drinks. Jasmine is one talented and skilled artist! I had a makeup lesson at this Ulta location and few weeks ago and it was worth every penny. Hope M. was my stylist and she was incredibly patient and kind as she taught me how to correctly move the makeup brushes to get the pro makeup looks I always wanted. Prior to this lesson, I could do a single (ultra neutral) eyeshadow, lipstick, mascara and that's it. I always felt self conscious about my lack of makeup knowledge and watching YouTube never really worked for me. No one is born with a makeup brush in their hand and if you don't try, how will you learn? After less than an hour, I was able to do a full face of makeup- from bronzer to eyeshadow. I'm finding I can now use shades in my eyeshadow palettes that I would have never touched before, thanks to Hope! I came here yesterday to get a couple items for my daughter's birthday. As soon as I walked in, there was a lady dressed in all black that approached me and could tell I was out of my element being here. I am a typical tougher guy at heart, so this is not my hangout store, lol. As soon as I told her what I needed, some face stuff with the name The Ordinary, she guided me right there! Made an appointment for a blowout 2 weeks in advance as I was getting headshots taken and wanted to look my best. I get a call less than 24 hours from my appointment with them cancelling without being able to reschedule to a time that would work for my headshot the next day. They say there's nothing they can do as they're booked that whole morning. I was disappointed in their lack of urgency and cancelling on me last minute without much of an explanation and then not willing to do anything to help when I let them know my concern. Today really made my heart sank.. I personally didn't want to share this to anyone but after considering it's probably better to share and spread awareness. I noticed my ulta eyebrow esthetician was using a tester tinted wand on me without using a sterilized individual brush after waxing my eyebrows!!
