Tricia told me what she could do and when and how I could cancell it if I wanted to keep it at the old, bad place. I mean talk about above and beyond, this was surprise and delight! The rest of the store was clean, well organized and filled with really friendly folk. I left another Harris Teeter because I could not say nice things about their service. Had I known how great this store and Tricia are, I could have saved myself the hassle of the mail order pharmacy and supported Harris Teeter as their company values mean a lot to me. They have some of my favorite items like frozen jasmine rice in individual packets. You can get them in white or brown. They're both delicious. I also love the frozen vegetables. They have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Especially frozen spinach. Most grocery stores only give you the champ. Spinach, Wegmans will give you the whole leaf frozen spinach. I love that. Well, I've never heard of anyone getting bad seafood here, but you wouldn't know from the odor. It's strong and not pleasant. * Some items are SUPER expensive. I think a lot of this boils down to import pricing, to be fair. Now, the PROS: * Many other items are super INEXPENSIVE! Sometimes, you can find produce and other pantry items for WAY less than you would at a local supermarket. * They have a lot of items you just can't find anywhere else. Even if you can find them online, you're paying a lot in shipping or finders' fees. * Their staff is fairly helpful and usually friendly. My main experience is usually with the cashiers, but even they tend to be really engaging and pleasant to chat with. * They have a very big selection for being a specialty market!
