    Just got my Door Panel fabric changed and mud flaps put on. Very reasonable in cost! Awesome quality work! Highly recommended!!!

After months of research and digging, I found an incredibly well regarded performance shop named "PetrolWerks" located in Long Island, NY. I spoke with the owner Moe Khan (Can't tag he blocked me) about undertaking the completion of the engine swap and was promised a 6-8 month timeline for full completion (Brakes, Suspension, Electrical, etc...) There has been numerous interruptions on his shops behalf (Eviction from previous property for safety compliance issues) which delayed the build for a bit. Eventually I saw a post by a very well-known enthusiast in my area that had to "repossess" his car from PetrolWerks and he explained to me in full detail the whereabouts of my car, and the condition it was likely in... I was very surprised to hear this, and made every attempt possible to get my car out of the place it was. After weeks of trying to reach someone with nothing but silence, I decided to just "show up" with a flatbed behind me. When I called the shop to tell them I was outside with a truck to pick up my E30. I had to go to a secondary location where Moe told me the car was, and I wanted to throw up when I saw the condition/state the car was left in... This car had a low mileage fully refreshed/resealed/machined S52 swapped into it, with every part to complete the swap twice over. When I arrived, every single part I had provided was "missing" and the engine bay had a TREE growing through it. Upon inspection once I brought the car home, the damages from the neglect left me no choice but to send the car to be crushed/scrapped. I always wanted to be the guy that still owned his first car, but unfortunately thanks to Moe Khan and his team at PetrolWerks that will never happen. ***If you are reading this, and you have a vehicle being "worked on" at PetrolWerks, my advice is simple: GO GET YOUR CAR!***Lo

    THIS SHOP IS THE WORST!!!!! They take advantage of most of their customers but the few that make…read morethem look good on social media they will do anything for. I do not use social media at all, so I was taken advantage of brutally. I found photos of my motor in another persons car at one point and was never told anything about why. Then "oddly" my car wasn't running and had no motor in it for over a year and a half????? I can only imagine what was happening to my motor during that time. Also I was yessed to death and promised everything and completely ignored when it came to the majority of important things that I wanted. The workmanship is AWFUL!!! I saw them set my car on fire while they were rushing to weld things together so that I could take the car back after I had threatened to tow it out due to their lack of doing anything for so long. It was in pieces for nearly 2 years! Its easy to find a person that throws high quality parts in to a car. Its another thing to find a shop that knows how to do it properly. This shop just doesn't know how to do anything well except for stacking cars all over the property. I also hated how Moe always knew how to justify how things were going. He knows how to talk and make you feel good while he ruins the dreams you have. Also, to all the guys that support each other on social media and business with Petrolwerks, you're only as good as the shops you work with and you should be embarrassed to support this one. This is a personal review but I almost never wrote it. The motivation to write it came from witnessing numerous other examples of other people being taken advantage of (that aren't writing reviews for themselves) and Moe not seeming to care at all. It should've been a dead giveaway seeing 1000 cars stacked up outside in a thousand pieces. as if that wasn't bad enough, the shop is a disgusting workspace. If you have a nice car you shouldn't bring it to a shop that is this embarrassing to the neighborhood or the car world in general. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to other bad reviews. Please do not call or text me in reference to this review Moe. there is nothing left to be said anymore. I will not respond.

    UPDATE REVIEW: the exceptional customer service at Grand Prix Subaru, continues......this time…read moreunder the tutelage of the current Service Manager, Richard Hines.....I most recently brought my car in for its regular 5000 mile interval oil change. At that time, I also requested that a NYS Inspection be done on my vehicle during this routine service visit. Not until I got home did I realize that the inspection of my vehicle was mistakenly not done. After this was brought to the attention of the new Service Manager, Richard Hines, he immediately went well above and beyond my expectations in attempting to rectify the innocent error in failing to inspect my vehicle, by offering to pick up my vehicle at my home and leave me a loaner vehicle until which time the inspection is completed......then returning my vehicle back to me at home while picking up the loaner....The offer made by Richard in rectifying the situation is a clear indication of his committed effort in providing the most exceptional of service to the customers have come to expect from Grand Prix Subaru....Such an effort should not only be recognized , but should be highly commended......Thank you , Richard......

    STAY AWAY LOL I…read morecanceled a warranty on my vehicle (that was pushed by Adam Frania), and the refund was processed back in Jan. However, months later, the dealership has still not applied the refund to my loan account. When I contacted the warranty company, they confirmed that the claim is closed and that the dealership has already received the funds. Communication has been terrible. I've had to repeatedly reach out just to get basic updates, and even then, I've either been ignored or given vague responses with no real resolution. Antonio Salamone literally has no idea what's going on. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially when it involves a customer's finances. A reputable dealership should handle something like this promptly and transparently. If you're considering doing business here, I highly advise you to think twice. There are plenty of dealerships that actually respect their customers and handle transactions properly--this is not one of them. This was my first time purchasing a car and I 100% feel that they had taken advantage of me because of that. They did not explain the process out to me nor did they contact me AT ALL. Good Luck.
