I was forced to add a star so this would post, but I'd add 0 or less if I could. If you find pleasure in being grossly abused, insulted, and severely beaten (financially speaking) then get your car serviced at Grand Prix subaru! I purchased my car here in 2020 and had a pleasant purchase experience so I have no complaints about the new car sales team . I gave them a good review. But as far as the service team I gave them a second chance after they tried ripping us off the first time. But now I'm done and I'm so disgusted with there glutinous character . I'm in business myself I understand having to profit but $820 for a battery replacement and $815 rear brakes!!!! Let's imagine if you will that the battery was gold plated and cost $500 . $320 in labor for a 15 minute job! Now let's get down to reality buying a $300 battery , I'm being generous here, $520 labor for 15 minute job! Glutinous animals is what comes to mind. Never again. That's why I just purchased my new 2025 forester wilderness at another Subaru dealer. Grandprix should be embarrassed and ashamed. If I owned this dealership id be rethinking my service dep

Great lip service when making a purchase. Lousy repair services. I'm amazed by the way they handle things afterwards. Don't believe me? Try yourself!

Bought my 2015 Crosstrek here. From start to current, bad experiences. Let's start with the salesman when i was in first to get my car. Lets first note, that salesman was gone when i brought my car back for its first maintenance - not a good sign. He at that time told me oil changes and NYS inspections were free for life. I still have the screen shot that he gave me saying this. Only to find out they either changed it or it was never, oil changes for life. Only first year. At time of test drive, i asked if we can take the Crosstrek to test it on uneven roads. He said that we had to stick to the routes they are given. Lie I find out later. And the car handles like complete garbage with the factory tires. The worst and the car has no pep. Was never taken on a road where I can test that pickup. During the times I have taken my car in over the years, its always an issue. Factory maintenance, and i schedule a loaner car. I arrive, and they say "oh we dont have enough loaners today". They didnt calculate it correctly. Their shuttle service is some guy that takes one of the cars to take you home or to work. Nice to offer, but if they dont have a car or someone to take you, your stuck. Any time we call for appointments for service, you always feel rushed off the phone. And i am not alone there. I know 2 families that bought from Grand Prix, and they said the same thing! Over the years, we have asked them to look at issues, such as AC being not cold and clicking noise as we drive. Each time, they say they are unable to find an issue or hear issue. Now that my warranty is up, I am willing to bet they find these issues now. Their VIP promise is just a gimmick in my opinion. You would think over the years, it would have gotten a bit better. But, its not. I cant say its been worse, but never got better. Just feels like its sell the car, get them in and paid, and thats it. Service is just that, service. Nothing great. Staff is always friendly but sometimes feels fake. JUST DO BETTER. Dont make empty promises. I would suggest changing the oil change VIP. Make it free for life. Bc I have that paper the salesman gave me. It clearly says Oil Changes for life. STICK TO THAT.

Leased a Crosstrek. Maria was the sales person. She was a pleasure to work with. There was good follow-up by the dealership.

Over 90 minutes fudging numbers and circle jerking. I walked in, immediately, the old-fashioned sales pitch was in rare form, easily recognizable, and sad. I was greeted, educated somewhat on the two vehicles I came in to see, told the salesman exactly what I had to spend out of pocket, and to run numbers for me. Oh, let the games begin. Amateurs. It's said that ignorance is bliss, and if anyone left here a happy customer, I rest my case. Sadly, truly sadly, this was old school "moving numbers around". The first presentation was predictable. Three different lease numbers with three different down payments. Then the "where do you want to be", and " I want to earn your business, what can I do?" "I want to make you happy; I want you to come back in three years", on and on. Ugh! It's as if I walked in and didn't say, this is how much I have out of pocket, blah blah blah, fast talking nonsense. The may have seen the movie "Suckers" more than once. I'm going to stop now because I can write so much more about their antics, so I'll leave you with this. When they grow up and realize that there are some of us that understand numbers, they may earn another star, until then, buyer beware, they're going to make maximum profit on you, shake your hand and be your friend, and as you drive off the lot with a big smile and that "great deal" you think you got, they will sleep well that night, business as usual, another group of suckers will be back tomorrow.

I had an appointment at 9 AM for an oil change, but also needed them to look into a brake squeak that's been happening for a few years now - it was a squeak that previous mechanics I've used were not able to figure out, so I had wanted to try my luck at an actual Chevy dealership. When I first walked in, I was greeted by Gloria, who was extremely friendly, and made my experience wonderful, so I need to shout her out! My car was ready around 5 PM, and upon picking it up, I did not find that I was overcharged like some of the comments I've read. Gloria had let me know that they were able to fix my squeaky brakes which was amazing, and for around $400 between an oil change, tire rotation, and a brake pad fix, that definitely did not seem like it was breaking the bank.. Since visiting I have not as of yet heard any squeaks coming from my brakes , and overall had a great experience at this business. (thx Gloria, as well as the woman with the glasses and dark hair that I spoke with as I was paying!) - I would recommend and will be returning.

I brought my new car to the service department 3 months later for its first oil change today. Arrived shortly after 8 am. I was advised it would take about 1.5 hrs during write-up. 2 hours and 45 minutes later, it was done. For an oil change. The mechanic who drove it out told me the reason for the delay was because when he got the car, it was break time so it couldn't be worked on. I wonder how long was the break? Needless to say, I will not be coming back unless absolutely necessary. Horrible experience.

We test drove it, fell in love, and drove it home that same day. For a kid who worked so hard for this moment, it was everything it should have been. I went to Westbury Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram ready to lease a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn Black Edition. I had already researched pricing, incentives and my trade value, and I made it clear from the beginning that I had a packed schedule. The first deal wasn't even close, so I thanked everyone and left. Later that day, I got a call saying the GM had approved a much better deal. I was asked to leave a $500 refundable deposit to hold everything for 72 hours, so I agreed. After checking my trade and calling my insurance company, the entire conversation changed. Suddenly I was told the deal needed to happen that night because of month-end timing, even though I had been told the deposit would protect the deal. I even offered to come back that evening, sign the paperwork and return another day to pick up the truck. My calls and texts weren't returned, I drove back to the dealership anyway, and then I was told the truck couldn't be obtained that night. Before leaving, I was promised a call the next day after they checked on the truck and incentives. That call never came. I eventually had to call them myself. To be fair, my deposit was refunded immediately, and I want to give the salesperson credit. He was polite, respectful and never tried to push me into a truck I didn't want. I don't believe he was the issue. My frustration is with the process. Every time I thought we had everything figured out, something changed. By the end of the day, it honestly felt like the goalposts just kept moving. I walked in ready to lease a truck and left wondering why buying a vehicle had to be so much more complicated than it needed to be. I hope they improve their communication because I think it would make a big difference for future customers.
