The worst part about it was that the tenant was moving into the unit 3 days later. I messaged Bathtub Refinished along with a handful of other business here on yelp and Peter called me about 30 minutes later. I told him my situation and he went out of his way to help me. We had the job scheduled before any of the other businesses I reached out to responded. The finished product was beyond anything I could have imagined. The tub looked like it was brand new. It's been a month and a half and the tenant says it still looks and feels fantastic. Peter also discovered that the tub had been dented at some point and that the tub had likely rusted in that spot, causing the previous tenants to paint it. He recommended to tell my tenant to keep that spot dry to prevent it from happening again. All-in-all it was great experience from beginning to end, and the price was very fair for the work that was involved. It may have been because he had family coming into town and wanted to finish up asap. He took away the most damaged part and returned it promptly. Today the damage is almost invisible. Then, during the summer storms my beautiful desk was damaged by rain. Again, Don gave me instructions for how to dry it out and prevent further damage. This time I was lucky enough that the damage was not severe and I did not even need Don to come out after I did what he said. How good can a vendor be if he is even willing to tell you what to do to the point that you don't need to pay him?!

When I challenged this I was met with indignant responses like "I charge $15 to drop it off" (not disclosed) and "I've been giving deals to people all day, I can't do this for free!" I had no expectation he would, but I also expect to be notified when we get out of scope on price. This is another lesson to reinforce that if someone has to tell you how fair they are they might not be.

Started well, ended with being ghosted…read more I hired Correa Custom Coatings to fix a crack. Joe came out on May 30th and did the repair -- looked great at first. By mid-June, the same crack came back, so I called him and he came out again on July 8th to fix it, saying that if this fix didn't hold, he'd do a permanent "patch" to take care of it for good. The crack was back by July 9th. I contacted him again, and he scheduled a visit for July 20th -- but never showed up. I made every effort to get this resolved, reaching out multiple times by both text and voicemail. I made a bold effort to pay extra too -- I never expected the third fix to be free and said so clearly in my messages. I just wanted the crack permanently fixed, and was willing to pay for it. Despite all that, I got no response at all. It's been over a month with nothing. I really wanted to like this company -- Joe seemed professional, the work looked solid initially, and he did come back the first time without hassle. But ultimately being ghosted after being told he'd make it right, even when I offered to pay, is a dealbreaker. Can't recommend based on how this ended.
