Horrible experience all around, from the call center to the guy that came to do the cleaning. I will never ever go with this so called company. Very unpleasant to deal with. The guy was to steam clean my carpet, I told him to please not to soak it, did he...yes! They quoted me a lower price on the call center and once he got here he quoted me $40 higher....I'm still waiting to this day for the manager to call me. Will he, no! So I have this eco-friendly carpet made from recycled bottles that requires some super tlc. Most standard surfactants will melt the nylon, so I have to be careful about what I use to clean it. Some numbskull dumped almost an entire cafe latte on the beautiful carpet and it became the stain from hell. I tried some resolve, it just made the stain worse. I had the carpet cleaned, I even tried the carpet-cleaning "system" from Home Depot...ugh! The stupid stain came back like a bad disease. Time to call a professional. Rafael came by and assessed the creepy come-back stain. He asked lots of questions about the carpet, type of stain, cleaning agents formerly used, etc...he was taking mental notes and came up with a stain treatment, plus regular cleaning treatment for the rest of the carpet (it's kinda Zen to watch this guy work). FINALLY, I found someone who does stuff right the first time. Rafael was the third attempt to get this damn stain out, but he should have been my first call! I'm so mad I didn't find Superior sooner. You know those parts of the carpet that are covered by the furniture and are basically brand new, untouched, un-walked-on parts? My WHOLE carpet looks like that now! Here I was, hoping to just get a hellacious stain out, and I got way better than that. My carpet looks and smells amazing. I'm happy. Hooray! I'm never renting those dumb do-it-youself things from Home Depot ever again. Those things are a nightmare. I've scheduled Rafael to return in a few months so I can keep everything gorgeous. We desperately needed to get our extremely dirty carpet cleaned ASAP as we're expecting our baby to pop any minute now. Luckily we found someone local who did a great job with the steam cleaning!! Rafael was prompt, friendly, and very much affordable. My biggest concern was to remove all bacteria, odor, debris, and etc and as far as I'm concerned, he did just that with his industrial machine. Had to have the carpets cleaned at my apartment because I am in the middle of moving and needed to minimize the damage if I was to have any hope of recovering that elusive security deposit. Ralph came right on time (not 30 min early, not late). He explained exactly what he was going to do and how long it would take and gave me a great price. When he was done it looked so good it made me sad that I was moving. I don't know if God himself could clean a carpet well enough to cause a security deposit to actually be refunded, but if he tried I'm guessing it would look something like this. I would show you the giant ball of hell that was the accumulation of dirt and who knows what else that he managed to extract from the carpet but it might upset some of our younger yelpers. Use your imagination. Before Superior Carpet Cleaning the only other company I had ever hired was one which I will not speak of for fear of giving them publicity. They still call me about once a week asking me if I need their services. If i could bring myself to answer the phone I would tell them stop wasting their time because SCC has them defeated. Now I've moved to a house with much more space and a lot more carpet to destroy. As well as being concerned about possible damage to the rugs, I was concerned about the hardwood floor on which they lay. I need not have worried, as Rafael is extremely knowledgeable about flooring and carried out a thorough inspection before giving a quotation. So glad I gave this man a try. My sofa and carpet were really in need of a cleaning. I didn't know of anyone local that I could trust. I liked reading the reviews he had. Even though i didn't like the negative review he had. My gut instinct said it would all workout. So I gave him a call, he was very nice and knowledgeable over the phone. He asked me several questions about my carpet and sofa, where I lived, if it was an apartment or home, how many rooms needed to be cleaned, what color the carpet was, when was the last time I had a cleaning, and what day did I have in mind that best fit my schedule. I did not have my carpets cleaned by Superior Carpet cleaning, so I cannot vouch for the quality of care. However, I was so rudely dealt with by the owner I would not recommend this business to anyone! After leaving a message stating that I was looking for an estimate of cost, my call was returned by Rafael. I again explained that I was looking for an estimate for my rugs and couch to be cleaned. When he began scheduling me for an appointment I stated I would call him back after I got more estimates. He became very rude at that point and said he doesn't deal with price- shoppers, and then hung up on me. His prices were almost double to my other estimates.
