I hired Sutherland to come in and do a deep cleaning on all of our carpets. I have small dogs, and unfortunately, they the elderly dog puddles on the carpet because she can't see where she's going to find the dog door. I've been dealing with this for a long while. I cleaned the carpet with a specific cleaner which I thought was good for the carpet, but it was not. No enzymes in it apparently. My daughter here is visiting and she was having terrible coughing fits that was quite severe. As soon as the carpets were cleaned today, she stopped coughing! Apparently not only was the cleaning product I was using likely triggering her asthma, but all of the bacteria that was in the carpet because of these dogs. I can't say enough about Sutherland. They were fantastic! They cleaned the whole house, and they took their time to make sure it was done well. They have a particular machine which has a higher temperature and has the best section of any carpet cleaning machine in the industry. We needed to have all of the residue pulled up as well. We did a scotch guard and hopefully this will help the Carpet do better overtime. I ordered up an enzyme spray in case the dogs have another episode on the carpet, which is inevitable. I will be calling him in more regularly for periodic traffic area. Cleaning of tough spots with these dogs. I highly recommend them! The wool had some major stains, and we have had it professionally cleaned before with no results in lifting the stains out. After about a week, I noticed there was an area of the sofa that appeared to have a stain from the cleaning- very faint.
