First time using Kimmie's Carpet Cleaning. I saw the Kimmie's Carpet Cleaning Van parked at next door neighbors house here in Torrance. My neighbors found them via referral from friends. I asked if they could give me an estimate on cleaning upholstery on an art deco era lounge that needed cleaning. It had 2 major stains from where my Bulldog got ahold of it. I thought I would have to reupholster it,but thought I would try and see if Kimmie's could remove stains. Pleasantly surprised with the price,expected it to cost more. The cleaning job by Kimmie's turned out SO GOOD! Now I don't have to reupholster it! I also took two cushions off of an antique Craftsman style Morris chair and asked if he could try and clean them as well. They turned out great. Fair price, quality work, hard worker,did a great job. So happy that I sought their help out. Its nice to find someone that cares about the quality of work that they do. I am not sure how long they have been in business,but FOR SURE I will be seek them out again. Called them to clean some uhpholstery and they did a good job and were reasonably priced. After one year, I called them to have several rugs cleaned but no answer. Called them again and scheduled an appoinment for the following week but nobody shows up. I called and no answer. I sent them a txt and they respond with a txt saying their carpet cleaning machine broke down the day befoere but they forgot to inform me. I dont trust them anymore. We quickly received a firm quote and scheduled a next-day appointment. This place is reliable when it comes to service. Barry had responded fast at all times and right on the dot with service. I have a tiny room for my daughter and her carpet was horribly stain..he mostly took care of the worst part but it's not completely stainless..I don't expect will be super white carpet but I kinda expect some of stains will be removed but still there. Carpet is pretty old like 12 yrs so maybe it's as good as it get for 75. Its not dirty as it was, but not so thrilled of the result just fair. Calls at 9:15, FIFTEEN MINUTES PRIOR to the appointment to say that they cannot come over. THEN TRIES TO UPSELL US, stating that she can have her son do it but she will have to charge us MORE. Saying her estimate was not final. However her estimate was given to us based on square footage and complex not on a lack of people available because Kim cannot handle her own business. It is HER FAULT, she was not apologetic at all, UNTIL WE TOLD HER WE WOULD LEAVE A REVIEW. My experience with Kimmie's was awesome. My husband and I had just purchased a home and because we had so many contractors in and out of the house we wanted the carpet cleaned for our children. When our professional arrived the first question he asked ,after greeting us , was if we'd just moved in. He proceeded to smell the carpet, then take a white cloth and water and and scrub a small portion of the carpet.
