Superior is one of my new go to store that just opened in my area a few months ago. This store has everything you need plus more . Let me tell you when you walk in the smell of the cooked food OMG! Amazing . So many choices of hot food to choose from oh and a tamale cart you can buy from as well . And they are so good. Their selection of their vegetables and fruits are huge as well. I purchased carne asada from the meat department and was pleased with the tacos we made ! This store is the old Food for Less so it is pretty big and has all you need . There paper plates cleaning supplies and some boxed foods are a bit more pricier than their competitors stores . Definitely will return

The low price point for prepared foods is quite impressive!

Superior Grocers is one of the largest independently-owned grocery store chains in Southern California & California's Central Valley. They expanded and opened their first store in Nevada in the Las Vegas Valley in 2024. I stopped by to check out the store yesterday (1/4/2025), and here's what stood out: - GREAT FOOD AT A REASONABLE PRICE: I decided to grab dinner while in the store and ended up ordering posole from the hot bar (note: it's only available on the weekends), a 16 oz lime and chia seed aqua fresca, and I got three tamales from their tamale station. Those five items were $17.48, and I had enough food for multiple meals. I will not name drop other businesses, but smoothies at my gym are $15 and a salad and unsweetened tea at a fast casual restaurant that I frequent is $28. As a person who prioritizes supporting food businesses offering high-quality food at a reasonable price, I can confidently say Superior Grocers understood the assignment, and I will definitely be back! - THE STAFF'S DIVERSITY IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY: This value is baked in for me both personally and professionally, and it's one of the key factors that determines how I interact with businesses. High marks for this location. - IMPRESSIVE PRODUCT SELECTION: I honestly felt like I was at a bustling, urban food market (e.g. Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia) given the wide selection of eye-catching food here, which included a bakery, produce section, hot bar, tamale station, deli, meat and seafood counters, chicharrones displays, etc. They even have a section of Creole and Cajun foods from the South where I found bags of pork cracklings from my home state. - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: All staff members who I encountered were warm and friendly. I perceived the store to be welcoming and enjoyed my brief shopping experience at Superior Grocers.

i love the variety of meats, produce, and bakery items this store has !! shout out to the kind asian man who was handing out free sushi samples, he was very generous and soft spoken.

At the hot foods section Vincent helped us and went above and beyond! Not just for us but for others in line as well keeping things moving and kicking butt! Never thought I'd be giving a good review on prepped food at a grocery store but he did such a solid job I HAD TO. Amazing human being and outstanding worker

This place is a vibe. We took a road trip up here to check it out since a fellow foodie was raving about their bacon wrapped hot dog with a soda deal for $1.50? I can't remember but it was good. The bacon wrapped hot dog looks like it's been cooked and sitting out for an hour so I didn't get to try it but my husband said it was not good at all. I grabbed their Fresca cuz it was a cute bottle. Horchata was a 2/5 for me...definitely have had better. Pineapple was also watered down. The tamales - I grabbed one of each, including the strawberry, pineapple, beef, pork, cheese, and corn. I think their pork tamales were really good. Strawberry tasted a bit too sweet and funky for me with too many strawberry preserves or jam or something inside. The corn one was nice and sweet it tasted like cornbread. It's a nice spot to go chill and walk around. Definitely go walk around and get some of their tamales.

Everything Mexican esp, bulk, salsas, cheeses, hot tamales, produce, hot food and bakery items.

The first thing you see when you enter this grocery store are fresh tortillas, chicharron and tamales all at discounted prices. Look further and you notice fresh juices, baked items and meats. Next to Asian Groceries, this market has almost anything you need for your next BBQ. Tostadas were on my mind so we picked up Carnitas (tasty but a little salty), fresh refried beans, lettuce, serranos, ready-made salsas and Mexicana Sour Crema. A pretty good variety of fresh hot tamales ($2.50 ea) rounded off the menu and my favorite Yucateco green habanero salsa punctuated the meal. Bulk items are numerous: Chiles, nuts, seeds, spices, beans, mixes so you know it's probably the freshest items, and lowest prices around in a single location. As Arnold S. says: "I'll be back".

    Receipt from today

Not sure how frequently they go through their stock and how well the refrigerators there work because we bought Parmesan cheese today, opened the container and proceeded to eat until my little brother pointed out there was mold in the Parmesan cheese.

I saw this grocery store on Tik tok and it was delicious. Has so much variety of foods. My favorite part was the horchata you can add boba it was such a great combination. It's definitely at more affordable priced than anywhere I live. The best part was customer service, all the workers were so nice and helpful.

Mood - Tamale Cart Do you love Tamales? Are you always on the hunt for them? I'll admit I used to have my scheduled Tamales delivery every Friday. I was lucky enough to have a grandma set up my delivery no matter what each week. Then she moved :( broke my food heart. Then I saw an IG post of this grocery with a tamale cart. Yes it was a grand opening. But I needed/ wanted/ desired to know if the hype was real. Upon entering it is a theme park of different stations and people. Bakery/ Restaurant area with actual seating/Agua Frescas with Boba/ that infamous Tamale Cart with 6 different flavors. Yes you read that correct 6 flavors, a meat selection, ample fruits and Vegetables, plus all the normal things a typical grocery would have. This area has needed a grocery for over 5 years now. And what a way to bring the life back to this side of town. But in my opinion it is needed and def worth it. And I may have been back 3x now for the Tamales. Don't judge me. Everything was very clean, shelves stocked. The staff in all areas were beyond hospitable and courteous. Would most def recommend- pricing is typical for life now a days. But I will say this. Look for the red tags if you like to save money. My red tag sales filled up my grocery cart for very reasonable. Location is lake mead and nellis - ample parking. Now this place gets congested real quick.

This place was a lot of fun, so many things to try. We came here because TikTok made us do it. The samples in the front were fabulous. Chicharon with guac, make sure you get the dried(packaged) one! I ended up buying some from the deli, it's not the same. We tried other things but nothing stood out too much. Inside is insanely nice. Perfectly stocked and in order. Bathrooms are not super clean though.

My new favorite grocery store. I absolutely loved coming to the grand opening of Superior Grocery. I checked out a few TikToks and was up and ready to check it out. The store it's huge and bright with so many great deals. I honestly went to check out the horchata with boba because I absolutely love the idea of putting boba in agua frescas, tbh. It was the best horchata I've had in a while. I grabbed some pre packed rice, beans, queso fresco, sushi, pickled carrots, and aguachiles. I was so excited to check out every part of the store when I found my mom at the tamale bar, that's right you can grab tamales to go! The pork & beef ones were good but they were out of jalapeño & cheese so I'll try that one next time. BTW: the sushi is pretty bomb! There's also a hot dog cart, heck yes! My mom and I checked out the meat area & my mom blacked out and bought some of everything! Easter came early for her, I see. The prices were outstanding for quality cuts of meat, and it was constantly being restocked by the butcher. Since it is new, parking will be overwhelming so prepare yourself for that & if you want food there's a line that might be confusing ( I accidentally stood in that line while waiting for boba). Ambiance: 10/10 Experience: 9/10

How cool is this place? If I didn't have to drive all the way from one corner of the city to the other to get to it, I'd be there so much it would be bad for my health and my bank account. The store is great. The prices are reasonable and I bought a ridiculous amount of food from their deli for less than $50 for my wife and me. We got two full meals out of it. I loved my burrito, ceviche, posole, tamales, and agua fresca and my wife loved her tacos. Such a great spot. I'd love it if they did open one clopser to us. Everyone who helped us was super helpful and friendly, which I don't always feel like I'm getting at Smith's and Albertsons and we got a lot of great deals on groceries. We'll be back as often as we have time to drive the 45 minutes to get there

It has been opened and eaten.

Our usual server, Sunday, happened to be off that evening but Robert took great care of us. He was attentive, professional and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the night. I've been here enough times that most of the dishes we ordered were already familiar to me, but they were just as satisfying as I remembered. More importantly, everyone I brought with me thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which always makes a return visit even better. The food continues to be consistently excellent, and despite the new location, Bazaar Meat still feels like one of those restaurants I can confidently recommend when someone asks me where to have a great dinner in Vegas. My only preference for next time would be the seating. We were seated in the darker section of the restaurant and I think I'd enjoy the brighter dining area near where the steaks are displayed a little more. Either way, another great dinner at Bazaar Meat. I'm sure this won't be my last visit.

Considering the convention traffic, I'm guessing they wanted to have options for business dinners. ‍ If you're going for a date or with friends. I suggest Rojo - it's loud but it's a vibe. The food: Mostly the same menu as the old locale, but why mess with near perfection? A few adds - the brown butter cauliflower (very good; would love a pinch of flaky salt) and the basque cheesecake. The croquetas got a new sneaker! If this is your first time, you cannot miss the classic tartare, the cotton candy foie gras, or Neptune's pillow. For a bit of extra fun, try the bison carpaccio. The service: impeccable as always. We sat with a server named Sunday who not only knew the menu backwards and forwards, but gave the exact right amount of pomp and circumstance. (Order the bison and find out what I mean.) Shout out to Kirin (food runner) and George (Sommelier) for pride in their craft and adding to the experience. Parking: this is the only real drag. If you're going on a Sphere concert night, expect to pay $30 for event parking. Take an uber or suck it up - you cannot miss this meal.

The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went. While it adds a fun, energetic backyard vibe, it can get incredibly loud and makes chatting with friends difficult, so you may want to bring ear protection or plan your arrival time accordingly.

This place is......not good. I'm honestly blown away by some of the reviews. The food, the service, the vibe - it was all lacking. I eat at a lot of steakhouses, so I may have higher expectations than the average diner. Service: - Our server was very friendly, but forgot about us the entire back half of our meal (we even skipped ordering dessert because we were completely forgotten about and sat there for so long after finishing dinner). - He was not well versed in handling wine (which IMO in unacceptable for an "award winning steakhouse"). He handled the wine glasses by the bowl instead of the stem and poured extremely large servings, about 4 oversized glasses from a single bottle. Food: - The steak tartare was very thick, large chunks instead of a classic fine mince. It was served with tasteless bread that had heavy black grill marks on it. Would never order again. - The calamari and brussels were both tasty and fine. - My NY strip was so full of tendons that I couldn't even chew through it some of it. I can't remember the last time I actually left a piece of steak on my plate from a dinner. - We were ordered a flight of steak sauces and they were spread all over the table with no explanation of what was what. - As for sides, we ordered mash, mac and cheese, broccolini and cauliflower....all very average. Vibe: - completely lacked ambiance. The lighting was bright, there was no background music, and it felt more like a casual neighborhood diner than a place you'd expect to enjoy a nice steak dinner. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me why it had been years since my last visit. Between the average food, inconsistent service, and lackluster atmosphere, I left genuinely wondering how this restaurant has earned such high ratings. Summerlin has far too many incredible restaurants to justify another visit, and for a steakhouse, I'd choose T-Bones or Harlo every time.
