I got a recommendation from this place from a local and many content creators. I was lucky enough to get a reservation at 7 pm during their all night happy hour. Food was great given the pricing in red on the menu. The service was good, but our waiter was extremely robotic. We had the rib-eye, Cacio e Pepe pasta which had fresh made pasta, sautéed asparagus, with the fresh horseradish and horseradish sauce. This is the go to place for late night steaks. They are open from 5:00pm to 3:00am. Reservations are highly recommended. This place gets packed all day long. They have a menu of appetizers, Cocktails steaks, salad, seafood, surf and turf options. So many to choose from. They can accommodate a table for 2 and large parties as well. The servers here are super friendly and very helpful with the menu choices. I started off with appetizers the calamari and Caesar salad . Both are excellent choices. Then moved on to dinner with the surf and turf special, which comes with one ribeye and two lobster tails two mashed potatoes and asparagus enough for four people, but they say it's for two. Also got mashed potatoes on the side, mac & cheese, and the button mushrooms. The ribeye was cooked, perfectly, medium rare that is the only way to get steak cooked in my opinion. The lobster tail was super juicy and tender, of course dripping with butter. And after all of that, if you still have room for dessert, I highly recommend the Italian donuts that come with caramel sauce and condensed milk to dip in. Late night happy hour steaks and award winning cocktails?! Say less! We went on a Tuesday night around 10:30 pm and did not have a reservation. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table. The restaurant is open daily from 5p to 3 am. We took an Uber, but they do have a small parking lot if you're driving. The restaurant had multiple dining rooms. The lighting was dim, but the vibe was not pretentious. They had old school hip hop and R&B jams playing which added to the ambiance. The biggest draw to Herbs & Rye are their happy hour specials. I am not sure what time happy hour runs, but I believe at the time of our visit, they were doing happy hour all day. Our server Andres explained that any menu item with a double star icon next to it is on HH. The majority of HH items are steaks and pasta. They have won numerous awards for their cocktails. We noticed plaques on the wall from different organizations like Conde Nast, Thrillist, and The World's 50 Best. Andres made some good cocktail recommendations. The drink menu is pretty extensive and is divided by era. I went with the Bijou. It's a gin based martini that is spirit forward and not overly sweet which I enjoyed. It sort of reminded me of a white negroni. I was good with one because it was incredibly boozy. Menu items are a la carte. I typically go for filets when I have steak, but the 8 oz. Flat Iron caught my eye. I ordered it medium and added Red Wine Glaze. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was tender and very flavorful and the glaze was delicious. We stopped by this steakhouse for a late dinner on a Tuesday evening. While we took an Uber there, there was free parking available in their lot. They bring you some complimentary bread and butter which is always a nice touch. Drinks (5/5): If you're looking for alcoholic beverages, Herbs & Rye has a huge cocktail list, split up into different eras. You'll find some familiar classics, and some interesting concoctions. I went with a cocktail that included a Dutch liquor that's similar to gin. That was a first for me! Food (5/5): Herbs & Rye is known for their late night happy hour where many of their steaks (and several options) are deeply discounted. Like most steakhouses, sides are a la carte. I decided to go with a cup of tomato basil soup and the New York strip, served medium rare (of course). There are two versions of the tomato basil soup, one with a grilled cheese and one with the soup only. I love a good grilled cheese and tomato basil soup combo, but since I didn't want a large portion, I went soup only. On par with tomato basil soups I've had at other establishments. You can't really mess this one up. My steak was cooked perfectly and was juicy and oozing with flavor. A darn good steak! It doesn't surprise me that Herbs & Rye is a popular spot. All of a sudden the people at the back of the line were literally sprinting past everyone. There is a hallway and a side dining area, and these jerks ran through it to cut in line. Or if it's a spur of the moment thing for you then I guess you can try the bar/countertops as a walk-in/standby option. The ambiance is old school classic Vegas steakhouse. Lighting is dimmed with music from the 60s-80s playing. Dress code isn't enforced as I saw attire ranging from business casual to hoodies and plain t-shirts. I know for sure from 6-9pm (Mon-Fri?), happy hour for steaks and other items are half off. What a freakin good deal! My dad made a comment that even though it's half off, they do not skim on the quality of the steaks. We ordered the following: -half order of clams as our appetizer. My partner and I went on a Wednesday evening and it was super packed to which we were very surprised considering it was the middle of the week, we got seated at an appropriate time to when we made the reservation despite being "behind on reservations". I thought the chicken breast on my risotto was cooked nicely but the risotto itself tasted sour and a tad undercooked. The cocktails are well prepared and I love how there's a small history lesson in the menu showing when the cocktails were invented. The service was spot on and couldn't be friendlier. This restaurant is a MUST GO TO spot. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!! It's highly recommended due to how busy this place gets. Bar gets full right when they open at 5pm. All locals go to this. They have happy hour which includes half off certain appetizers, pasta dishes and all of their steak cuts. They're known for their outstanding cocktail selections. From the 1800s to modern day cocktails. They have all the classic cocktails you forgot was a classic! I always sit at the bar with Eddie (main service well bartender). You usually see Miguel and Zach as well. The bartenders are all very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they love their craft. The plus is that they're open until 3am every night except on Sundays (they need at least one full day off to recharge and you'll know why! They're just so extremely busy!) I always get the ribeye steak with a side of button mushrooms, roasted garlic and roasted jalapeños. This time I also got the Cacio e pepe and for a dish so simple, you'd be surprised how many restaurants can mess up a dish like this. Herbs and Rye have never disappointed me. The reviews are super accurate. This place was great. Loved the service, ambient and food specials. Our server was super attentive and so was all of the staff. Very romantic ambiance. The spicy mussels were probably our favorite along with the truffle Mac and cheese. We ordered a NY strip and pork chop to share. Both were good but we wish they were seasoned a bit more. I had high expectations of the steak here. We ordered the Nectaly's surf and turf. The portions were good for the price but the ribeye wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. One of the lobster tail was overcooked. We had to send it back and took a long time to come because the kitchen was backed up. We were almost done eating by the time it came out. They could have comped or gave a discount for that. The Caesar salad was very good. Our servers Angel and Jake were very nice and helpful. It was pretty dim inside but it was lively and had good music. I ordered the missionaries downfall drink which is like a mojito. It was good but had more ice than drink IMO. read more

The ambiance is dim and intimate. I enjoyed my filet mignon but not so tender as expected. Came during happy hour which is all day so half off steak. They open at 5pm I believe, but be sure to make reservations as this is a popular staple. If you arrive early or when they open, the wait isn't too long-- I enjoyed my sister's flat iron steak more because it was tender, however, we both ordered medium and it was more red than expected. I wanted mine cooked in between what we got. We also ordered sautéed asparagus. Shareable side. I still would come back and maybe order my steak medium rare next time. Ate at Herbs and Rye for my birthday had Bri as our bartender she was absolutely fantastic. Might be one of the most beautiful and talented bartenders. I've seen in a while. As a former Gordon Ramsay bartender, I can say her service was exceeding fine dining restaurant expectations. The food was immaculate and would recommend this place to anyone going to Las Vegas. I parked my car here when I went to dinner and there was a piece of rebar sticking out of cement block at the end of the parking spot. I did not see it because it was dark. It's also not something you necessarily expect to be in the parking lot. After dinner when we left the rebar ripped through the bottom of my car and the front bumper. I didn't take a picture of the rebar the night of the incident. This was my biggest mistake. I sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails all with no response. Finally I got a hold of the manager and he said he would get back to me... I decide to drive back there and I see the parking spot has been repaired. The rebar is no longer sticking out. You can tell it was recently repaired because the rebar has exposed metal that is not rusted. Every other parking block has either yellow painted or rusted rebar. I speak with the manager one last time and he told me that there was never any rebar sticking out. I told him it was repaired and he kept denying it. All that said this place can not be trusted. If they won't take responsibility for negligence of their parking lot why would they show responsibility and care in other areas of the business? You have management that won't respond to calls or emails. I'm sure multiple other vehicles were damaged as well. I would avoid this place at all costs read more
