Jan, our fantastic server, guided us through the menu and how to order. He cooked the A5 waygu we were allowed to perfection. It was my first time and it was amazing. Melted in my mouth. We had lots of other meats which we cooked ourselves. The food was outstanding. The Bonchan bar was excelled and I loved both the kimchi and bean sprouts. I ordered a lot but, hey, it was ayce. Amazing JBBQ Experience! Finally trying Chubby Cattle and best believe I'm coming back again! It was such a different experience from my usual JBBQ outing. Since it was our first time , the workers were friendly enough to explain how everything worked. You choose a tier like usual , but we stuck with the silver tier as the lowest tier still came with so many things on the menu. Meats were all so premium and in fact did taste so premium. They had a drink bar with a fountain station , milk tea dispenser , slushy machine and even hot tea! Other than that , they also had a self serve station with all your kimchi , lettuce wrap , and other side dishes you would eat with ur JBBQ. Been wanting to try Chubby Cattle for the longest time and finally got the chance to on our recent Vegas trip! We came shortly before open and were able to get in on the first round of seating, but the place filled up pretty quickly afterwards! We opted for the Gold Tier menu for a good balance between price and selection of premium items. There is a self-serve salad/veggie bar as well as rice and curry around where you walk in. Soft serve machine by the entrance too for you to grab dessert on your way out! There's a good selection of drinks and I loved how they had milk tea! Meat quality was good, and the wagyu nigiri had me wishing we did the Diamond Tier menu just so I could order more. There's a pretty decent selection of non-meat items too like sushi and various appetizers, which helped break up the meal, so things didn't get overly heavy from just eating meat. I was skeptical about the quality of the sushi but it was decent too! Overall, a pricey meal but I think it's worth the occasional splurge. The positive : iPad ordering and good variety The confusing and suspicious parts: Membership and awards. The prominent awards plaques by door felt mysterious - how legit? is these show plaques (decoration or made up) is this local or international?. There is yelp logo there. Yelp awarding this restaurant?? Why other bbq restaurants don't have them. Especially since the advertiser as premium wagyu is locked behind the higher priced menu tiers. Areas for improvement: Table size : for party of 3-4 little bit tight, I feel tighter than other bbq restaurants we have visited. Slow grill : the fire was very slow, drag the cooking process. Order chaos: difficult to track order pending and order delivered. I chose the silver tier which is more than enough for me. The Wagyu cuts were delicious and melted on the grill so be quick haha. The green tea crepe cake was still frozen so the texture wasn't at its best but fun to try, good matcha flavor and very pretty. Staff is helpful and you have a self serve soda station with slushies and a banchan bar tucked away in the back, I got some kimchi to accompany the meal. Wish they had pickled radish but the options are good staples. Worth checking out and I found it very interesting they have a membership plan. First time I see this option. High quality meat! They have 2 types of beef tongue cut and one is a little chewier than the other, and they are both really good. For the special dish 1 plate per person, I like the hokkaido uni mentaiko; it is surprisingly delicious. I would not recommend the lobster role. I came to this Chubby Cattle location in Las Vegas during a Bachelor Party weekend for one of my friends. This location of Chubby Cattle is located in Chinatown on Spring Mountain Rd. The parking lot is big with many spaces in this plaza. We were all dropped off via Uber. As far as this location goes, it's an average size restaurant, but still packed and busy just like the other locations. I've only dined at the Rowland Heights location back home, but we had a great experience. The staff here checked our whole party in once everyone arrived. We were seated in two booths across from each other as our party had 8 people. The staff here were awesome! I believe our server was also named Kevin! :) He did a wonderful and excellent job serving our table. He constantly checked in on us and made sure we got all our orders in a timely manner. He brought all the Soju we ordered and changed our grills when needed. As far as the food and meat quality, it's all up to the standard of the Chubby Brand. The Diamond tier meats were of the best quality. The sushi was fresh as can be. They also do self serve on the Wagyu curry rice and self serve on drinks and milk teas at this location. Overall, our entire party had a great meal with Chubby Cattle Chinatown. We ate well, drank well and made good memories. The service, the food, the drinks and the ambiance were 5/5! We ordered so many meats, sushi, veggies, and other dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The standouts for me were hands-down the prime angus finger meat, wagyu otoro, and the salmon carpaccio. Though, I did quite enjoy the takoyaki and most of the other meats and sushi on the menu. My husband is not a raw fish guy but he liked the sushi so much here that he placed multiple orders of the salmon carpaccio and nigiri. I was shocked but that just goes to show how good it was here! There were a variety of appetizers/side dishes and drinks to choose from too and I enjoyed every single thing. The only thing I didn't like as much as the others was the matcha crepe cake; it was quite bland, icey, and the matcha flavor was barely there. We stopped by on a Friday at 5pm to get ahead of the rush and was seated promptly. Juan was a friendly server and walked us through the setup and his recommendations. She was attentive but not too overbearing and made sure that our table didn't have surplus of things which was hard cause we're ordering so much. Plus she was super nice. Food was excellent. WOW! I mean.. WOW! This place is probably my favorite J-BBQ spot in the U.S. The service was regular, they gave us water, catered to us, and they even have a robot delivering our food. We have to get our own beverages though which was no problem. You must try their milk tea! The food.. top tier. We got the gold tier (the second one) and I thought it was worth it. Everything was all you can eat wagyu. It doesn't matter how overdone you accidentally cook your meat, it will still taste good. The ambiance was a little crazy when we were there. We were there during EDC week so the music was heavy dubstep. That could bother some people but I was too busy enjoying my food to really pay attention. 3.6.26 - had this place on my list for a while and finally tried it on this trip. They don't take reservations so you have to put your name on a waitlist. I think we waited 30 mins or so before being seated. It seemed pretty busy inside. Our waiter came around and helped explain things. We decided to go with the Gold Tier $78/ person. You order from a tablet and grab drinks from the drink area around the corner. The milk tea is pretty good. There's a self service station for items like kimchi, which I think he told us about but we somehow missed it. Quality was pretty good, service was great, and they had an Illenium playlist playing on the sound system. I would just get the Silver Tier $58/ person. The Gold Tier wasn't really worth it because you can only pick from the Special Dishes one time per person and each of those only come in 1 piece. Same with the Special Meats except these come with 3 pieces per order but each person can only choose 1 out of the choices. So we each chose different items from the lists. Good to try once but I'll try out some other places on my list next time. read more

Came here last night. The entire idea and process of getting up and choosing your skewers was fun, especially being able to cook them on a small charcoal grill. Overall, the food was okay; they had some spices on the table and near the trays where you collect your food to choose your meats, but they didn't have salt and pepper. I got full from mostly eating rice; they also have a menu that you can order from. The experience was a 10; I felt like a little kid playing kitchen because of the kid-sized table. The skewer food was about a 6; the skewers were small, unmarinated, or seasoned meat, coming in at only two pieces. If you're a meat lover, you need to come here! One if the best AYCE wagyu beef places in Las Vegas. We ordered the lowest tier which was $55 and the quality of the meat was so GOOD! All of the wagyu cuts were so tender and it just melts in your mouth. My favorites were the wagyu nigiri, the sliced beef tongue ( first time trying tongue), wagyu short rib. Don't overcook the tongue and it's delicious! Inside the restaurant, you sit in a booth. Each table has one grill for about 6 adults.You order your food on an iPad. Make sure to tap send to the kitchen or it won't place the order. There is a 90 minute limit and the timer is on the iPad. A robot brings out what you ordered to your table. They allow you to order 10 items at a time. There's only 1 iPad per table so have one person order all the food for everyone. I love that there's a soda and milk tea drink station, a soft serve station, fresh baked egg tarts, and beef curry ( big chunks of meat) included in the meal as well. We came here for a birthday celebration, and I made the mistake of making a reservation (**not knowing that only the hotpot location does reservations and NOT the KBBQ location!**). It's located in the heart of Spring Mountain, and I feel like the parking can get pretty scarce at times. The place itself is pretty big, but the seating arrangement can feel congested, especially if you're sitting at the taller tables in the center. The service is great, and it was clearly explained to us how the menu and ordering works, where everything is located, etc. I loved the side dishes area but what I loved more was the very center of the room that housed all the drinks (tea, soda, milk teas) and desserts (vanilla and matcha soft serve). I wish we took more pictures of what we ordered, but we got the Gold Tier, and we felt like that was more than enough to be able to have an enjoyable and delicious time. The most notable dishes that we wish weren't limited to only 1 order were the Wagyu Foie Gras Nigiri and Wagyu Uni Caviar Nigiri!
