During her actual class though she ended up with a different instructor and she was newer and didn't seem to be able to handle some of the roudier kids in the class. I expressed my concerns and my daughter was moved to a different class. We now have no issues. They have large upstairs parent viewing area with a large glass window which is great! It does get crowded quickly. They have a foam pit, trampoline, rope climbing, balance bars and so much more. We visited a few gymnastics gyms before choosing this one.

If you're just looking for something to do on a Saturday morning in the winter I guess it's fine but personally I would not waste your money (it's not cheap)! Regardless of the current staffing issues, my problem is when the group of girls and their coach (about 6-8 girls per coach) move to an activity such as the balance beam, bars, etc.... One girl goes at a time while the others sit and wait for about 10 minutes for their turn. Why not have them doing jumping jacks or ANYTHING to keep them moving!? They are just sitting and watching. Then, when it's finally their turn for the activity they go for about 30 seconds while their 'coach' is barely watching and I've literally never seen my daughter or really any of the other girls for that matter get any type of instruction. I presume it's different when the girls are in the more advanced levels (this is beginner) but my daughter actually wants to learn and get better. Unfortunately there is no possible way she can achieve that in this environment. Lastly, I want to note that I did address this with an employee at their front desk one day, she said she would relay the message however there haven't been any changes made.

What we love is walking/jogging loop upstairs very useful when outside gets too hot or cold which is almost 70% of the year here in NC. There are enough weight machines, sometimes one has to be flexible to rotate. The swimming pool and sauna is a nice addition. We haven't explored the classes they have some are paid and some are free. The employees are attentive and respectful and hours open are quite wide to meet almost everyone's needs.

Club Lifetime, it's perfect. I am a working professional who goes to the gym in the early am (5:00-7:00) is the time I frequently go and my workouts are completed in a timely manner with room to hit the sauna if desired. I do know this is a family staple. there are many kids/teens during later hours but I avoid them easily with my regimen and timeframe! The price is great for a pool, sauna, classes and equipment. If your looking to be social, meet friends and more it's possible but to say this hospital affiliated fitness center is not clean as most gyms is ridiculous, if anything they are getting inspected far more than most centers being in relationship with UNC. Lastly because I have history here, the morning staff (Meg and crew your awesome humans) are the best, they get to know your name personally and help whenever needed! The sauna does not have split wood, I know bc I've been going for almost 5 years now and lastly it's worth every penny I can go to the gym as a single woman comfortably which is most important.

The high jump trampoline which is supposed to be one jumper/trampoline had 5 kids jumping at a time with no supervision. The Zipline had no rules! I am going out of my chaotically busy day to leave this review, because I mean every word and I am not a "cheerleading" parent. I generally don't care for places like this because I have to sit in a hard chair and wait until he's finished playing. I want to play WITH him! This place, UA, has so much going on! My child and this mama (me) had an amazingly fantastic time! It was fun wading through the clear bubble pit. It seriously is a good workout, plus, walking the plank is a bonus. The trampolines are just as fun as all the other trampolines BUT it wasn't nearly as crowded; no accidents means even more fun (for me)! Then, I saw the go carts and realized that MAMAS COULD DRIVE- not just kids and people running the exhibit!!!! Since my little monkey isn't big enough to reach the pedals, I got to be the driver. It was so much fun that we went probably 5 times before UA closed. My kid thought it was the greatest thing ever when another mama entered the track and we locked eyes as way of greeting, we both knew what needed to be done: a race so epic that the camera couldn't keep up to take a picture. The photo of us smiling is after the go carts. Genuinely smiles = really excellent memories. It is NOT cheap. It is substantially more than places like Safari Nation, literally any of the museums (the one in Raleigh is probably the closest in price) and of the other places for kids that I am blanking on. To be a parent/member and get to also use the go-karts, each kid is roughly $110 for 6 months of prepaid unlimited play. It's $60 for an annual membership for parents and allows them to use any of the exhibits that they wish, including go karts! So for $170-180 you are able to go as many times as you want for 6 months. If you pay full price for 6 months and add it all up, you come up with There isn't much of a discount for paying in full for 12 months.
