I was impressed by the competitive teams and the big facility and decided to start my daughter there . she started in the beginner level class and at first there were less students . but now the student to teacher ratio is 16:1.each class they barely get any practice time , as only 2 or 4 kids can practice at one time , so the rest r standing there idol . my daughter made very less to no progress even after a year . so I just withdrew her enrollment today . It's a money grab. Keep your child in the lowest level for as long as possible with beginners that have a much lower skill level-front desk are just young workers with no decision making ability. Constant rotation of young teachers in very large has made it impossible to really build skill. Poor communication for a business with so many rules. Take your money somewhere else where they, the owners and instructors, actually care about progressing your child to the appropriately aged and skilled class. read more

Love the adult gymnastics class. Lots of modifications for those of us not too flexible, cool new skills, conditioning. The class takes place on Tuesdays at 7:00, drop in for $15. All levels welcome! Also, open gym every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00pm, only $5. Try your skills on a trampoline, tumble track, rings, balance beam, you name it. read more

I beg of you, if you have young children don't send them here!! they don't know how to treat young children. Ive seen them first hand treat young children horribly and they felt it was appropriate. I also had an incident happen with my child their and they did NOTHING but waste my time!! If you love your kids send them to any other gym but Superior they don't know how to treat children!!! read more

Are they serious about gymnastics? I don't know. But my daughter has fun, it's reasonably priced, and it's location is convenient for our family. I've used a living social voucher here for weekly lessons and I have sent my daughter here for summer camp. I wish they didn't make you pay a fee to join on top of the monthly charges for classes - but every place does. I just don't want to commit to my kids going every week. I'd like to go for a few weeks here and there. That's why their summer camp works out so well for us. You can pay per day, which many camps around here don't offer. They have two entrances (which is confusing) and their seating area leaves much to be desired. There is Morrisville Crossfit right next door, but online they don't seem to offer very many classes. I may decide to try them next summer if I can line up my class time. We've visited other gyms in the area - Gym Carolina (more expensive, much better layout. They have MUCH nicer parent viewing area) and Triumph gymnastics (friendlier, more knowledgeable-seeming staff) but for us location makes Superior gymnastics a winner. read more

This gym does not cater to preschoolers. The teachers don't give the kids positive experiences and also don't speak kindly to the moms. I took my daughter (3 yrs old) there and one of the teachers was very rude. My daughter was crying because she was nervous since it was her first class and I asked the teacher to take her. The teacher said,'what do you want me to do, there are 7 other kids in the class'. I was told that the only way to talk to the owner about this was to email her and she'd get right back to me. I emailed her more than 2 weeks ago and still have not heard from her... read more

This is a wonderful gym. After trying Wake Gymnastics we found Superior to be just that. The girls learn AND have fun a necessary combo in a sport that gets serious so early. The team girls have wonderful form and skills. While at Wake Gymnastics all of the girls had terrible form and the parents received no communication with the coaches. We love Superior's openness and willingness for communication! Superior also hosts kids night out parties and has wonderful camps for track out and summer. Highly recommended!! read more

Very poor communication with their customers. They do not properly communicate their constantly changing schedule and will often send us scrambling from one building to the other. I've only ever done the Birthday parties here so I can't speak for the gymnastics training itself. But the parties have always been great (3 for my son's Birthday and 1 as a guest) and the staff has always done great with keeping the kids interested and making sure they are all having fun. The only downfall is that in the past, we were the first party of the day and the staff was arriving basically as the party was starting so some of us were waiting outside and had to rush setting up the tables and stuff. Nothing horrible but a little frustrating. However, that was the first couple of times and the last two parties they were there earlier and ready for us so that was great and it looks like they've definitely made changes in how they handle that. read more

My daughter had attended summer camp and some of the coaches do not supervise kids at all but playing with one another. In this sense it is a pretty much unprofessional place. If you want your child to learn some gymnastics rules etc summer camp is not for that at all. They just let them play by themselves while some of the coaches just stand and do nothing even do not supervise them. Your child may also learn some bad words and may be bullied as well. I would not suggest this place at all for summer camp. They can do better to care about educating kids and teaching them at least some techniques. read more

Not impressed with this place at all. It has potential but the counselors are too busy with themselves and their cell phones. They don't care about the children at all. If there was an adult around, perhaps things could be better but I never saw one the entire week I was there. Felt uneasy dropping my 6-yr old off every day this week and not sending her again. read more

My children have been taking classes here for a few months and really enjoy it. I agree that some instructors are better with younger children than others but they are all fine. My younger daughter had her 3rd birthday party and it was really great. The course they had set up was great, the staff was engaged, and the parents were all really impressed. A few said it was the best kids' party they had been to. The children had a blast and got medals. There was no restriction on food you could bring. read more

Superior Gymnastics has been a wonderful experience for our family. My 8 yo daughter has been on the competitive team at SG since last May (we moved from another gym in the area). She has grown stronger physically and mentally and loves the sport and is always eager to go to practice. The coaches here love the sport and sincerely care about the gymnasts. The facility itself is great imo. It has separate sides for recreational/competitive gymnastics giving all the gymnasts the room they need. There is something for everyone here- fun recreational classes (all ages and levels), different types of competitive teams (STAR, Xcel, USAG compulsory and optional), birthday parties, track out and summer camps, parents' night out, and open gym to name a few. I appreciate that there is an open door to check in with the coaches and owner about my daughter and her progress/goals, and that they are supportive of her activities beyond the gym. There are fun extras for the competitive team too- a buddy system between the gymnasts for support/encouragement, holiday celebrations, community service opportunities, etc. This gym is a special place to our family and I recommend it to anyone interested in gymnastics. read more

My child has been going to Superior Gymnastics for 6 months now and it's sub par and poorly run. No one seems to know what is going on and their policies are hard to understand and change without notice. The coaching seems to have no real planning behind it, My child has been doing the same stuff for 6 months now. The coaches don't seem to know what they are doing and their is no real lesson. I feel like their are better run gyms out there. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I would give them a zero, but you have to rate at least 1 star. I agree with the other 2 mom's that mentioned mistreatment towards children. They are extremely tacky, and every last one of them would rather text msg, be on social media, or talk on their cell, than pay your child or other kids any attention. Oh and don't think the owner is going to help because she's the ring leader. They disgust me in many ways, the worse way being that they actually bully your kid's. Oh and they think it's amusing because they are cowards who have nothing better to do than laugh when kids get injured "THERE" and encourage other students to join in. They also decide later than they tell you, what they are going to compete your kid at. Why? Because they want to see how you did in the last level, in the last gym, how your meet scores were, so they can compete your kid at the same level for them and rack up medals, that they will then take credit for. So for your kids safety and your sanity, and to ensure training from an actual coach at all times, take them somewhere else. read more
