Superior Service Shady Business Techniques. One service call ($110) lead to another service call as job was not able to be corrected at first visit. Another service call fee ($110) plus ($279) for a thermostat, leading to a third service call with billing listed as three service calls ($330) and control board change ($440). A call was placed to the office requesting bill be sent to owner of building. Kip then continued to harass the tenant to pay the bill and take it off the rent. A late fee was charged to the owner albeit it took Superior Service a month to send the bill. The AC wasn't working in a warm day, call to a different company. Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. Things discovered at this service call ($149): Door was not replaced and was not showing any lights in the control board and it wasn't sitting flush. One spade connector was never connected and was still covered from the factory plastic cover. The AC wasn't never wired in and what was present was not properly wired for this type of unit. From this scenario Superior Service sabotages heating units by either not wiring them at all or incorrectly and installing parts with the plastic covering from the factory still on for return service calls they charge for. The intention seems purposeful to ruin heating units so a new furnace/AC unit would need to be purchased, taking advantage of local businesses and local property owners. This is the most amazing company to work with ever!I never in my life have I met more honest good willed people! We moved into an older home where it is heated by a heat pump and furnace. We had a very popular local company come out and inspect and service the units before moving in. The company informed us that the system was old and would need to be replaced and would cost tens of thousands of dollars. We couldn't afford it and figured we would make due. Also at the time of there visit the wired in a new Nest thermostat but the technician seemed to have issues and didn't know what he was doing. He eventually figured it out and said we were good! From there our electric bill shot up to $500 a month and the heat periodically worked! So we were in the house a few months and dealing with freezing temperatures and heat that sucked a power bill that sucked and all of a sudden the heat goes out completely! Mind you it was 26 degrees outside. This is where we meet Kip The owner. I called at 7 pm at night and instantly was greeted with help and solutions. With in an hour Kip was at my house. He began to diagnose the situation one piece at a time. He rewired the Nest thermostat that the other company installed incorrectly. He explained throughly why our system wasn't working and why our bill had gone up so high! He didn't bad mouth the other company but instead just fixed the issue! He then checked the furnace and the heat pump, all the wires and coils and showed us how our old system was great and just need a new filter drawer which saved us thousands. He reassured us that we didn't need to spend tons of money to make what we had work, we just needed a few small tweaks. He was in and out of the house in about an hour and saved our booty's from freezing. The most friendly professional company. It was an absolute blessing to meet this man! Had this company install new heat pump. NEVER worked right. Family vacated on Thanksgiving due to no heat! Kip came out and rewired thermostat (he installed incorrectly) and after awhile stopped working again. Multiple calls that were not returned. We don't live in this house, so scheduling a time for someone else to come out and diagnose wasn't easily done. Bend Heating came out and diagnosed the problem right away (defective coil & compressor) and they recommended we call the installer back to warranty it. They said that some of the work done wasn't up to code. Superior won't warranty their labor since it was over a year ago they installed. But when you don't live there and it is a couple months since you have been there, what do you expect?! I'll be damned if I am going to pay them AGAIN to fix it! I will suck it up and pay Bend Heating to fix it right the FIRST time. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

The guy who drives the dodge truck should really figure out how to use his mirrors when driving and maintain a cool head. I saw that he had a near miss with another car and it would appear that he had a serious case of road rage with another driver and decided to endanger other people on the road. I would avoid this company at all cost. If they can't figure out how to drive a truck I wouldn't trust them around anything else of value considering how careless he was with a large work truck. read more
