We had SWS install a window tint on our residential windows to protect the turf we are about to install. I was very impressed by everyone's professionalism and ease of communication. We had a lot of questions and concerns and all were addressed. We live right next to construction and currently only have dust in our yard so I was very impressed how they were able to apply the film without any of the dust getting underneath. How DARE you tell me that you tried to contact me again via text messages and calls to try to fix it? READ the text messages screenshots I have attached here. Every time I have reached out to you - you not only neglected my concerns, you used your CREDIBILITY to tell me that the tinting on my vehicle has been done right. Why did I ignore your calls and text messages? WHY DID YOU IGNORE MY CONCERNS AND DESPERATION TO GET THE VEHICLE FIXED? Thank GOD that I listened to my gut feeling and consulted another tinting company, and you know what they told me? They said that you have MADE MY VEHICLE DANGEROUS and NO LONGER SAFE TO DRIVE because your tinting job has "AFFECTED THE ABILITY TO SEE OUT OF THE CAR SAFELY" (See attached letter from SD Tint). Did you know I DRIVE MY FAMILY IN THIS CAR EVERYDAY? HOW DARE YOU blame me for fraud when you could've put my ENTIRE FAMILY IN DANGER. Are you so proud that you cannot admit that a worker of yours has made a mistake and apologize? Apology. That was all I wanted. Getting a full refund from my credit card company was an understatement. How about the extra $150 I spent just to remove your HORRIBLE TINTING JOB? How about the emotional distraught I went through after SD Tinting confirmed to me that this tinting job was not only horrific, it could've put my family in DANGER?! Let me start by saying that these guys are very professional and easy to work with. I got turf shield film placed on my windows to save my brand new turf from turf burn. Less that 2 years later, it started to turn brown. I called when the browning continued to get worse and it started bubbling in a few places. Now, only 2 1/2 years later and the tint has bubbled and disappeared ins some spots and all of it has turned brown. When I initially called about the browning, I was told that it is common that the tint has to be replaced every few years. My home is special though because apparently it faces the worst way possible to have all the back windows exposed to the harshest sunlight, so mine browned and bubbled quicker than most. (Even the company was surprised at how quickly it went down hill). I had no idea that my solution to turf burn would be a $1500 expense every 1-2 years. Just beware that if your backyard gets a lot of sunlight, you too will be faced with re-installing the film every year or 2. read more

Needed my car tinted for my first time and found this company on yelp through the great reviews. Was scheduled to work with Frank and left my car while he did the work. Have to say he did a decent job but no where near the standard that I paid for. Talked to Virgil and was easily rescheduled for a follow up appt and I got Doug. Doug answered every question I had and you can tell he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate to the point where I knew I was in good hands. (Been doing it for 20+years) And may I say when I came back to see the finish, I was blown away. The detail to the finishes he made it seem as if they came stock with the car. It truly look whole and crisp! And he went was detailed when I asked questions afterwards too. Truly a genuine person! I may go ahead and get my front window done a bit too after learning it can stop more of the harmful UV lights. What made our experience with SWS truly above-and-beyond exceptional was how well Virgil and the window film manufacturer (Madico) handled the replacement and re-tint of a broken window. Unbeknownst to us, one of our windows was manufactured with a faulty seal and it started fogging. Just as Virgil promised, Madico matched our window's warranty and it was replaced and re-tinted with zero fuss, zero chasing around, zero cost, and zero empty promises. Just Wow! I called Virgil, who is the owner and he gave me a quote and explained all the details of the tints he had available. I told him it is rather difficult for me to drop off my car during business hours and he offered a complimentary pick up/drop off to help me out. He arrived on time, after showing me some of the different tint options, I decided to go with the 50% for the driver and passenger sides and 20% for the rest. He dropped off my car when he said he would and told me that he was out of the tint that we had agreed upon for the driver & passenger sides, so he upgraded to the ceramic tint usually used for houses (But only because it's too expensive for cars). Get this, he didn't charge me extra for it! He said that it wasn't my fault that he didn't have it in stock. Now that is how to go above and beyond people! My car looks great and feels much cooler inside. Before I got tinted windows, my 7 month old son would cry every time the sun was in his eyes while he was in his car seat. Today he didn't fuss once. Virgil has done a great job tinting the windows on my car and in my home. For the car I have window treatments that allow for less UV rays to come in so I get less sunburned when I am driving around in the San Diego sun. And as an added bonus, the car is a lot cooler. For my home I have UV protection on all the windows so that my wood floors, carpet, furniture, paintings, and fabric do not fade. As a previous customer, I contacted SWS for a quote on a model 3 tinting and Doug quickly responded with a very reasonable price. Due to the current pandemic situation, Doug is the only one on site and he did a very good job tinting the whole car by himself, including windshield and the 1 big piece roof/back. Just had the west facing windows on my home tinted. Fantastic. Only a week from the quote to installation. Used Sunscape Duralite 30 which doesn't obstruct the view but made the room feel noticeably cooler (no AC). Wish I had done this sooner. All involved were friendly and professional. My experience with Superior Window Solutions (Virg) was awesome. I got my Honda Civic tinted and he did a great job and under the cost of his competitors. I noticed my rear window's tint was having some issues because of the manufactured glass had a cheap glazing which were actually imperfections on the glass causing the tint to not look the best it could. Virg without hesitation came back out and looked at it and had my window resurfaced and retinted it! Not to mention all the tinting was done while I was at work! While shopping around doing price comparrisions another company in the same area told me becuse my car is so hard to tint due to the back window's defrost lines and window holders, they quoted me TWICE the price of SWS and told me they would need to keep my car all day.
