But as summer was approaching, the car started to get so hot on some days. So I found this place with good reviews and we finally made a drive to get the windows tinted. It made a huge difference with the interior temperature especially on hot days! I believe it'll also help with the fading of fabrics and plastic inside the car. So it's only been a couple of months since I've gotten my tint, but I am so pleased and I just want to review them already. They're the real deal! I've browsed a few places and checked out reviews, but thanks to Groupon and all of your fabulous yelp reviews, I scored a regular tint for up to 5 windows for $129. I opted to get the front too for an extra $80. I called the guy and he was so kind and professional which reaffirmed I chose the right place. Yay! I'm no rebel, so in keeping with CA regulations, (allowing 70%+ light in the front windows), I got 25% tint in the front (which allowed 75% light in, and I got 80% on the back (which allowed 20% light in). If I move out of state I'm so re-tinting and rollin incognito , but for now it's cool. The front actually often looks darker next to the back windows, especially when I have my sun visor on the front windshield out. I knew nothing about tinting prior to this other than hey, I liked what I saw. The percentages even through me off, but rest assured, they know their stuff and can answer your questions and put you at ease. I was bummed to see a little bubbling after I got my car, but I was informed that the tint was still settling and the bubbles would go away within a couple weeks. They were honest. It went away in a few days, and I am a happy camper. Whew! Keep your receipt for the warranty and don't roll your window down for 3 days afterwards. I wouldn't steer you wrong. These guys are great. I read the reviews here before going to Elite Image, and I was sure that I would get great service and a quality product. I was sadly mistaken. First I called and talked to Edgar and asked about window tint on my car. I had seen some Groupon deals and was curious about a small shop and how they did their work. Edgar wooed me and said all the right things. He told me the service for $599 would cover the whole vehicle, including the windshield, with top quality "nano-ceramic" film. I was thrilled, so I made an appointment. Edgar also told me to print out the $50 off coupon on Yelp to save a few bucks. Excellent! I get an email from Groupon that just the same time I've got my appointment for window tint, there are two places with Groupons. One was Elite Image. It said that I could save 54% on the Premium Package that Edgar sold me over the phone if I buy it through Groupon. I enthusiastically bought the Groupon, and showed up for my appointment with it. When I showed up for my appointment for window tinting Edgar explained to me that the $599 service he quoted me over the phone yes indeed covered all windows in the car including the windshield with ceramic film, but since I bought the Groupon, now only the back doors and back window could be done, leaving half the car without tint. I guess since I saved 54% I only got 54% of the service. To finish the front windows and windshield I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $270 to the $259 I already paid. Coincidentally it's EXACTLY the $599 minus the $50 he said he'd discount. I wasn't saving 54% with the Groupon, I was getting ripped off. I reluctantly agreed to go ahead and get the back windows tinted and paid an additional $120 out of my pocket to get the front door windows tinted. It took about 2 hours, and when they gave me the car back, I found TRASH and TOOLS in the car. They couldn't even pick up behind themselves? Worse yet, there was a stain on the back seat I had to wash out later. All of this I brushed off as unprofessional, but the windows looked great. I took a look and except for a few spots where it was drying (I assumed) the job was done well. I paid and left. In two days I rolled down the windows and was horrified. Every window had a noticeable NOTCH where the window meets the side of the car. Is this standard in windown tinting? A few calls to other companies explained that it was the sign of someone rushing the job. Also, both of the stationary back windows on the sides had very noticeable areas where the film didn't stick. I pushed it with my finger and it still didn't stick. To top it off, the very back window had a galaxy of small bubbles all over the center of the window. The quality of the tint, although ceramic, is unacceptable in the industry. They use "Wintech" film, the cheapest Chinese import available to installers. It's not Solargard, Llumar, Huper Optick, or any of the high quality standards in the industry. They use it because it's CHEAP and when you look at it up close, it looks CHEAP. Make your own decision about this place. Me? I'm going to go somewhere else and have this crap stripped out and replaced with quality film by a professional. read more

Edgar (the owner) is an enthusiastic owner. But the $139 Groupon deal left my GF and I a little disappointed. Yes, the deal clearly states that the price was for tinting for the REAR 5-windows. But most of us don't assume that those little windows in the back that don't roll down (if you own a 4-door car) count as windows. So what does this mean? You're left with the same front windows you came in with. However, for an extra $60, you can have them tinted here. I decided not to pay the extra cost (I was there for 2 hours already). Before you even think about tinting your windows, just know that most tints offered at tint shops are illegal grade. A 50% tint, which is very light, is technically illegal according to the CA DMV. But since so many Californians have tints, it's kind of one those laws that aren't followed (like observing the speed limit on any freeway). Another important tip when it comes to tint maintenance has to do with what type of window cleaner you use. In order to keep your tints in pristine condition, be sure to use a window cleaner that ISN'T ammonia-based. Over time, the ammonia will discolor the tint. However, if you upgrade to a metallic or ceramic-based tint, you can use whatever glass cleaner you like. Just know that the upgrade will cost a few hundred $$$ more. Now back to Elite Image. Because I live in Temecula, and I don't mind driving an hour for a good deal, I have the advantage of shopping around. I ended up driving to a place in Corona that finished the job faster and charged less. But you're going to get great service at Elite and they have a waiting room with 2 couches, cable, and free wifi. It's a pretty comfortable wait. But there are cheaper places if you're willing to shop around... read more

I came to Elite with a Groupon back in November 2013, two days after I had purchased my brand new car. I paid the extra to have my front windows done (which I expected). Fast forward 2 years later and my windows are PURPLE!!!!!! It's not just me, I've asked other people if they can tell, and sure enough EVERYONE agrees they're PURPLE. I took it into the shop and was told that fading is NOT covered under warranty and if I wanted them to take it off and put on "better quality film" it would cost me $220!!! I shouldn't have to worry about my less than 2 year old car having purple windows. Pay the extra $20 and go somewhere else. UPDATE: Two windows now have large bubbles, and another is peeling. read more

The owner is nice but he won't do the work (as he promised he would do for me after I complained the first time. That didn't happen) I had purchased the premium tint for five windows a ($599 value as they claim) for $249.00 which most other companies will give you this deal too. Thing with Elite Image is that the employees are incompetent. I had to return FOUR times in three weeks (waiting 3 to 4 hours at a time) for them to REDO my tint because it either BUBBLED, they installed WRONG TINT PERCENTAGE, installed the WRONG TINT QUALITY, and/or there would ve SCRATCHES on my windows!!! SERIOUSLY?!?!?! Mind you, I have a lifetime warranty because I purchased the premium but what good does that get me when each time I'm disappointed by the job? I have not returned to them since and my tint still looks horrible! Every window has little bubbles all spread out and we're not talking one-sies, two-sies! I purchased a Groupon for a window tinting and when I called to schedule my appointment I stated that I wanted "double limo" and I asked if there would be an additional charge or if the Groupon would cover it. I was told first on the phone that there would not be an additional charge, when I showed up to for my appointment I asked again if the Groupon that I purchased would cover the double limo tint, and again I was told yes the Groupon would cover it. Once I showed up to pick up my car. I was told that the cost was double, needless to say I was beyond upset , and I said I felt tricked and was told, well double limo takes more material and that was the cost if I wanted my car back.
