Honest, diligent, and stood by their work! In February I needed a new Transmission. Fred discussed which mfg he wanted to use, and why he made that decision. A new transmission was installed the day it arrived at his Parma location, and I was able to enter the van back into service. Later we ran into more problems, the van is 5 yrs old and has nearly 200k miles. A contained leak meant fluids were getting into places you dont want them! Antifreeze and transmission fluid were hand in hand! I was so nervous about maybe losing my transmission warranty, and another $5k! I was assured if we ever needed a new transmission, he would honor the warranty and get it for me. That is exactly what Fred did! Best service shop! They only fix what needs fixing and they do it honestly, reliably and cheap as heck. I had an axle snap on my car and these guys had a new one on the next day for $300. They take good care of you here. They have reasonable prices on all of their products and services. They also complete the work in a timely manner so that you are not there all day. The best part is they do not perform work that you do not need. When I felt unusual vibrations from my engine compartment, I knew I needed brakes, but I also They engine mount was bad. They assured me that it was just my brakes, and didn't take advantage of me. I highly recommend them! read more

I've gotten new tires here, various repairs, oil changes, etc. This is one place I don't feel like I'll get screwed over since I don't know anything about cars. In fact, the last time I was having issues I took my car in and he called me to say that what was happening was caused by something I'd had repaired about 8 months earlier and it was still under warranty. I think most shady mechanics would've just fixed the problem and charged me hoping I wouldn't realize that I'd had that fixed before (and Lord knows, I wouldn't have). I'm a fan! read more

I used and trusted this place in the past.. no more. Exit Josh enter Chuck Nemet. Had car towed there needing a starter. Was charged 426.00 The following day decided to look over the bill which seemed quite high. I called 3 other Superlube locations and ALL quoted around 250.00. I called Sunoco station across the street (225) and Grants (250). It obviously was apparent 250 was the average price. Why was I charged 150 more? Headed to Superlube to get the answer. Chuck Nemet being the one who charged me 426 was there. I asked "did you make a mathematical error or rob me without a gun'? As he started to stutter and stammer I informed him I called their other locations before he painted himself in a corner. I sat back and couldn't wait hear what plausible reason for the extra 150. He went to the computer and punched in some info and looked up" yup that's the price". ( of course he shielded me from seeing the screen).He stated the other starters wouldn't last and how bad he'd feel when they prematurely failed. Mine had a LIFE TIME warranty he said. WOW I thought, he's genuinely looking out for my best interests. I asked why he didn't give me the option to choose the 250 starter? His voice started to elevate ( defense mode when all logic starts to tank). He stated he'll give me a break on my next repair. I did some digging on the starter. He purchased it at AutoZone. Retail is 141.00 He paid 136. My bill shows he charged 269.78 for starter. Auto Zone only has 3 starters for my car, 146.99(new) 152.99(limited lifetime) 141.99(limited lifetime, mine). Being all around the same price the other locations were charging me 150 less. Here's the best part... mine is a REBUILT starter. It was a stickup, plain and simple. They chop hands off in Pakistan for this. 269.78 for a REBUILT starter !!!!! If you have masochistic tendencies and enjoy being the lamb for slaughter then this is the place for you ! read more

The Parma Hts location has been servicing my 2007 Mazda 3 for years. Even though my car is low maintenance, from the first set of tires that I replaced, to the occasional wear and tear repairs, and oil changes in-between, these guys have all won my confidence with their professional and friendly service. Honesty seems to be the owner's creed because they will let you see what's up with your vehicle before going any further with repairs beyond what you thought you needed. Did not give them 5 stars because of wait time, which isn't really a negative because customers are never turned away, if we choose to wait; no WiFi. read more

I am so thankful to the team at Super-Lube, 7041 W. 130 St in Parma Hts. For about a week I had been seeing the brake icon lighting up on my dash board. I told Larry what was going on and took a walk down the street for lunch. Larry called me and said all 4 of my brakes needed replacing, but that they would only do the front two. He said that the problem with the back brakes is that the calipers are leaking and they are still under warranty with Kia. You can't ask for any more honesty than that! They could have made money by doing the work themselves, but they told me to go and get it done for FREE! Thank you Larry and Fred for your help in keeping me safe and saving me money to boot. Worst place to do any repair, I went there to get my AC checked after waiting and witnessing few clients coming in to complain about their AC that is not functioning properly after having their cars serviced there, I turn out to be another one the Ac worked for one day after I paid 100 $ there ... never again . I can't trust them to check my car again .. it was so frustrating experience. read more

This place sucks. They did not stand behind their work. They said they fixed the car, and I paid the bill, but when I left, and drove my car the problem was still there. They said they can't fix it, and will not reimburse me. I have lived in Brunswick for 62 years, and never dealt with a company like this. read more

My family has been going here for over ten years. I like going here because I know they're not going to scam me out of money. I have no idea about cars and they give me the truth. Last time I went here to fix something they told me what was necessary to fix and even though they found some other stuff wrong they told me straight out that it wasn't a safety issue and wouldn't damage the car further so it wasn't important to fix. They could've easily told me it needed to be fixed and got an extra couple hundred dollars and I wouldn't have known the difference. They're really honest. Sometime I'll go in for some minor things and they'll fix them without even charging me. I appreciate it. My only complaint is sometimes they do take a lot longer to fix things and getting an oil changed I've had to wait almost two hours for. Other than that I would really recommend this place. read more
