The back deck area was built with a small drain line running down the middle of the back yard for excess water. When it was first completed the installation looked great. Within two years the tiles began sloping and lifting. Tile along the center drain line began to fall and water never really seemed to drain into the drain line. I had spent over 15K for a job that was falling apart in a couple of years. We were so disappointed with how the work turned out we decided to go with a different contractor to come out and fix all of the issues. Last month (05/2026) we had the new contractor come out to the site to look at the work. He immediately saw the problems and just began to shake his head at how poorly the work was done. When his crew came out and began removing the tile at the site we really got a glimpse of just how bad Park Stone's work really was. Material for the foundation was incorrect and improperly packed, incorrect spacers were used causing the tiles to shift over time, and incorrect slope of the tiles didn't allow for water to drain. The worst of it all was the drain line Park Stone installed. It had not only been concreted over where the water was supposed to drain, the workers had not even removed the shipping tape over the drain opening. The drain line was also supposed to run along the side of my house, underneath tiles that were installed there and out towards my front yard. That apparently was never installed at all! Thanks to Park Stone's crap work, my wife and I dropped another 9K to have it done correctly. Stay away from this company.

I would not trust that Neli will communicate with Michael. Nor you may not want to trust that she will confirm the install date. She will however, offer her best guess of install date but in my case she did not follow up with a confirmation, and surprise, surprise! they were at my door, when painters were still not finished. If you decide to use them and are a homeowner that doesn't read drawings on a daily basis, I would suggest you hire someone to read their drawings because their communication was really bad with me. Attached is the photo I sent to them, and another attachment is what I got. If you are still considering hiring them and would like to see my drawings please PM me and I will show them to you. There were no follow up questions from them about the photo I sent the day after Michael was here. Please do not assume there will be any communication within their team. Michael offered to make this right by tiling my fireplace, but then Neli emailed the next day saying they would discount my fireplace to $900.00. All details of what I wanted were given to them before I signed the contract. Yet they said they left out some details and didn't charge me. I am happy to pay for work that any contractor does according to my specs. Again, I experienced no communication between themselves and horrible communication with me. I decided to redo the countertop and tiles for my backsplash. It was about $13k. First off they're not professional, in my opinion. When the old countertops and backsplash was removed it was done without care. The surrounding area was damaged and they refused to fix it. Because it was in their FINE PRINT, that below a certain amount of damages they're not reliable. Second, they hired another company to install the tile backsplash. These guys who installed it were had no idea what they were doing. Cuts were terrible, uneven spacing and leveling, They had to redo the tile backsplash because it was so terrible. When they were finally done with the work it wasn't exactly the $13k I expected. Their cuts for my outlets didn't line up. I have to cut or make adjustments so I can install my outlets properly. What should've been done in a week or two took months. I had to deal with Costco customer service and with this unprofessional company. If you want a professional, quality and value look elsewh I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!

I did find another company a few days before they were going to start through my water guy for 800 less, but they couldn't price match them. I already felt bad about giving the go-ahead to Craftsmans, so I just took the loss on that one. Talked to Richard regarding the coating. I did some research online, and people recommended you get the polyurea/polyaspartic coatings instead of regular epoxy out here due to the extreme heat we get. His 2-man team comes out early in the morning, and they take 3 days to complete the job. Richard comes by a day or 2 before they start so you can see the colors and flake options he has to offer. I just know people online DON'T recommend black at all because if you ever do work in your garage and you drop something, it's gone... can't find anything in that colorway. I chose a light grey with medium-sized flakes. 1st day, they diamond grind and patch up any cracks or chips they see on the cement surfaces, including stem walls, and put a base coat. Second day, they come and put down a second coat of the color you chose and the flakes that you chose. 3rd day the come and scrape off excess flakes that didn't stick and put on the final polyaspartic coat. Every day you have to leave your garage door cracked open to let it dry and air out. Also, so your garage door doesn't stick to the coat before it dries, make sure the week ahead is a dry one with no rain before you do the process. I did let it dry for almost a month before parking or doing anything in the garage to let it COMPLETELY dry and set. Richard did say the longer the better. For the prices they send you the bill with the CC fees already added, but if you pay with bank transfers you just have to subtract the CC fees yourself before paying, which can be confusing for some. I ended up paying 3700 for my 3-car garage with stem walls to be coated with poly. Only gripes I have so far are that I wish the final Poly coat was a little thicker; in some parts the flakes stick out a lot. Also, the color I chose, you kinda have to mop the floor often; marks show very well and kinda get dirty quick. Sucks for me cause I have OCD. Other than that, time will tell how well this coat stands up to the test of time. Since this is a poly coating and not the epoxy, this should hold up for a very long time. Richard also did mention that if there are any issues, just send him a message. So far, everybody who sees the garage they compliment on the color and flake scheme that I chose.
