The years of foot traffic, kitchen spills, plus aging pets who made their own "contribution"; we needed a deep cleaning but knew we would never enjoy beautiful floors again. We were wrong. Gus visited us for a consultation and quote in July, but it was not until six months later we were ready to get the job done. I called the office and our quote was quickly located and the job was scheduled. On the big day Gus and his army arrived promptly on time. His expert team - there were six in all - went right to work getting the work area prepped for the job to be done. As with just about any project the prep work is key. They expertly wrapped our furniture and appliances - protecting them from the deep cleaning our floors were about to receive. They carefully removed furniture taking very good care of our home during the work. This team work very hard. They never took a break. They paid close attention to every detail. It was amazing to watch. After the cleaning it was time to deal with the aging grout that was stained and damaged in many places. We opted to have the grout painted. Gus showed us the options by painting a few areas. We opened and closed the shutters to see how each looked under the different light. Once selected the color that everyone on the team grabbed a brush and went to work. The sealing process followed and then it was time to reset the furniture. This team from Silver State Flooring Restoration worked their you-know-what off. The result is we have stone floors that look nothing short of amazing. Over the years, the sink became scratched and stained. After Like-Nu was done, it looked like new. The other project was to fix a large and fairly deep crack in the shower seat (a tenant stood on it...!). They matched the fiberglass color perfectly on z 20+ year shower - you can't even tell that there was any prior damage. It wasn't free, but their price was reasonable and they were great communicators.

The entire home (1900 square feet), except for the primary bathroom, has ceramic tile floors. And this tile looked BAD! Dirt embedded in the textured surfaces, grout that had maybe never been sealed. I've never had floor restoration work done, and didn't know what to expect, price-wise or results-wise. Bayron came for the consultation, measured everything, and explained how they do what they do. I was at first taken aback at the $ amount of the bid, but let me tell you...IT IS WORTH IT!!! And yes, they worked with me to make it a bit more comfortable for me financially. Bayron promised during the consultation that they would make the floors look "90% - 99% like new." Many businesses make empty or inflated promises but NOT Silver Knights - these tile floors look like they were just installed! I was blown away by the quality of the work, and the fact that the crew went over EVERY SQUARE INCH of the nasty old grout and made it a new, pleasing, CLEAN, sealed color. There was one issue that occurred when the crew was trying to remove old paint stains from the wall edges of some of the tile, and Bayron promised to make good on it. He came a couple of days later and did the work himself to make it right. I've got one "before" and a few "after" pictures I"ll share...but they don't really show the stark differences all that well. Suffice to say, I'd recommend Silver Knights Floor Restoration for any job you've got. They will give it to you straight on the estimate, and make good on whatever they promise. Bravo!

They focus on large size porcelain and if you're in Vegas you have to stop by their showroom, it's massive and they have slabs on the wall already which is very helpful to see how your shower walls or fireplace could look with the stone. After we picked out our slabs, about a week later we sent a driver and they loaded the pieces so fast. The main slab yard is outside toward the back of the building and they are loaded with options. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We discussed all of the necessary supplies we would need for tile work and placed the order. We were fully covered for the tiling jobs since our project manager only told us to order the tile. Turns out we needed all but the thin set. Our project manager neglected to tell us prior to ordering that we did not need the thin set but Alyssa assured me that anything that wasn't needed could be returned. I wasn't able to speak to the project manager until the following day and it turns out the thin set was not needed, so I was able to have the order adjusted prior to pick up by our project manager. Alyssa knows her stuff for sure! I asked her honest opinion on grout color choices and she led me in the right direction! We are very thankful for all of her help and guidance and expertise through this journey. When we return to the store for future purchases, we will remember Alyssa for sure. To cancel the thin set from the order prior to pick up, I called this afternoon and spoke with Aidan and Aidan was able to process the return before our pick up and issue a credit to our account. Tony walked me through everything , from the different types of tile to the kinds of grout . The difference between ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. If you are thinking of doing your own tile project, definitely go to Floor & Decor, ask to speak with a manager, and schedule an appointment with Tony. He'll set you up on a Saturday and make sure you leave with all the knowledge you need. They offer DIY classes which I think is an amazing idea. You walk out of there feeling confident in your projects. . This place reminds me of Home Depot but for flooring . They carry beautiful tile pieces and pretty good price compared to other tile stores I've looked into. Their delivery fee is $250 .

When there is a significant lapse of time between measure and install, it is best to come back out to site to make sure all parties are on the same page. Communication was fabulous throughout. Installers worked hard and left the area clean and removed all trash. Another plus is they understand working with HOAs and mngmt of high rises. It was inconvenient to have to reschedule, and make a 1 day project 2 days. There also was a price change that through open communication we came to a resolution, and everyone continued to be pleasant and work through it to get the job done.

It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

the Nevada desert Graboids (think Tremors movie) must have struck my under-the-house-foundation…read morewater pipes for the second time. first time some years ago it was jack-hammer, partial line fix and a total mess. this year SNWA with their wifi modules notify home owners they have a leak. good thing because a leak wasn't visible this time, unlike the first one. decision time was either fix one line part way up to first manifold or re plumb the house. small house, nevertheless, costly. after the great plumbers completed their works i needed to get the drywall areas patched and painted. got three estimates. 702 P&D came in about middle. one was too low and one was too high for my wallet. and 702 P&D had a good contract along with exactly what to expect. the low bidder did't have any of that. nothing wrong with that, but for me and my home i needed some binding paperwork and written expectations. as many others have mentioned, Julio was point man. for me, couldn't have been a better experience, from the first time he showed up until the job completion. His craftsman-gentleman, Mr Ernesto, did an excellent drywall job and all that goes along with that. showed up on time, verbalized what he was going to do each day, when he was off to lunch and a return time. Great for me as i could time my service dog's business times around his schedule. honestly, unless one knew or is an expert with drywall, it is fairly difficult to tell where the cutouts from the plumbers are. and Ernesto sprayed texture on the drywall to match the walls and he did well with that too. i agree, probably the best.
