Today was my first time at Supernails, I LOVE IT! Steve was such sweetheart and extremely kind. He made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. As a first time client I had a great experience. The service was beyond amazing. He was very engaging and had a great conversation with him. I love how Steve did my nails he was able to do what I wanted. Just simple thin milky white shirt nails. Ive been going here for like the last 10 years... though sometimes i take a break for my nail's wellness sake. I want to give them time to breathe and rest from all the acrylics, gels and paints. So I would say that I go to this place about 6-8 times a year. Every visit will last me about 3-4 weeks for a gel acrylics and sometimes I even use a regular nailpolish to paint over it so I can extend couple more weeks hahaha! I love these guys cause the owners are siblings. If I remember it right...Yvet is their oldest?... then i just know there's Philip and Susan and then is it Jim?... uhmm ohmygod im so bad w names so sorry guys! Pls forgive me! It's very rare that you get along with your family when it comes tolol !!! Yeah, I live only one block away from here so it's so fast and easy to get there. There's ample parking. The service is really good. Quick and fast. Also if you need waxing services too, Yvet does it. I get my eyebrows and underarm done here after I get my nails done. We just live closeby this place and now are moving. Just 3 minutes further though. I would still come back here cause I love them! read more

I have been going to super nails since I was 14. They are amazing! I live in Brentwood now but if I could would go drive there in a heartbeat. I'm almost that close. There aren't any good salons out here lol. Van and Suzy and their brothers all do amazing work and their prices are fair. Love you guys! read more

Horrible - DO NOT GO. The lady who did my manicure cut my finger deeply and wanted me to continue soaking my bleeding finger in the soap water - which I said no. I kept asking for the clear liquid that would stop the bleeding immediately but she wouldn't listen. Finally one last push, after she's done cutting all my nails, she attends to my bleeding finger and provided this white paste and told me it's fine. No, it is not fine and the injury should've been taken of immediately. I just left without getting my nails colored. Would not recommend going. It's been 2 days now and my would is still very deep and not healing. read more

I'll be totally honest, I didn't think that I was going to ever have a bad experience at a nail salon especially for something so basic and simple like a manicure/pedicure. I went in for a pedicure and let me just say overall it was not good. It was so fast that no cleaning was done on my toes. A small nail cut and a little nail filer and that was it ! I swear to you the massage was longer than the pedicure. The people are nice so I will say that but no toe nail cleaning, no cuticle cleaning (no detailing). Absolutely nothing. I was so sad. I really had high hopes but I will never come back. Worst $25+ tip ever read more

I wanted to like this place. The workers were nice. The lighting is really dim. I got a full set and a gel pedicure. The rag she used was really stained, so kinda gross but I tried to look past it. My nails were severely misshaped. I actually drove to another nail salon to reshape my nails. But guys... check out my toes. :( I really wanted to treat myself, but now I'm just sad. I have another appointment to fix my toes on Saturday, but at the same place that fixed my nails. And just FYI, I just got these toes done like 2 hours ago. I tipped well cause from the dim lighting, it didn't look bad but when I got into my car, I was horrified. Unfortunately, I won't be back. I just felt like I had to leave this review because I didn't want anyone else to see the 4.5 star rating and have high hopes like I did. read more

I found this place a couple months ago and am very happy with my results each time! Steven was very helpful, conversational, had great customer service, and is passionate about his work! I can tell he loves his job and is always happy to please his customers! I also love that with an appointment you can have a great mani and pedi in about an hour (efficient and great work). I have been coming here for over 3 years now. The staff is great and have not been disappointing. Whenever I get a broken nail right after I get my nails done they're always quick to fix it. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I never leave reviews but this one is warranted. I got a manicure about 10 days ago & the same day saw some small swelling on my finger, didn't think it was a cause for concern but less than a week later my entire nail bed & fingertip was swollen, come to find out from the doctor I was infected with staph bacteria! So pretty much I went in for a manicure & also got paronychia which is extremely painful to remove & has cost me HUNDREDS of dollars in medical bills so far! It's not even healed yet so I'm still hoping for the best but PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE THIS PLACE IS VERY DIRTY AND YOU RUN A VERY HIGH RISK!!! I walked in & noticed the place wasn't very clean but against my better judgement got the manicure anyway. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

Ive been wanting to give this shop a try since it was so close to my house. Steve was amazing! He took his time, assured I got what I was looking for. My nails look so natural, no bubbles, no breaks and no chips. Let me tell you, I am rough on acrylics. The other women inside of the shop when I went there, didn't get her name, was also extremely friendly and welcoming! She ended up doing my pedicure and I'm very judged and picky when it comes to my pedicure but she did a great job. I recommend giving them a try! read more

I got a full set done with an alleged American manicure. I didn't know how much it was going to cost before I started, but I guess I got what I paid for. Lots of nice stars here on Yelp, but it turns out this place is low price and shoddy work. The guy applied a slightly sloppy edge of white and a somewhat unnatural pink transparent for the nailbed, and called it done. There were filing marks all over the acrylic powder coat that 1 thin coat of polish wasn't going to hide; they looked nearly matte. I asked if he wasn't going to put on another coat and he verbally pushed me out the door, remarking to his next customer in a way that implied I was ignorant about this type of manicure. I've had my nails professionally done about 10 times and *never* have I left with less than 3 coats of polish. American may be a natural *color* (which these guys still failed to do) but they should still have a glossy finish! Edit: went to a salon in Newark (De Paris) and got the American manicure I wanted. A natural nailbed color, and so so shiny. The guy at Supernails has no idea what he's doing. read more

So I'm at home being a lazy couch potato and my girl hits me up that she wants to go out.. only hang up is my feet look busted and I need an emergency pedicure at the eleventh hour and my go to place closes in 15 minutes! Yikes!! So I hop on google to see what the nearest place is found this shop within a 4 minute drive... which brings me to my review... am giving this place 5 stars alone for the fact that they saw me right before closing time... anywhere else would have sent me off on a Saturday evening but Suzie who I assume is the owner took care of me! They can't do any worse than what they looked like before but I'm hopeful as so far she's complimented me and has been super sweet! I may come back if it all checks out.. I mean 4 minutes away! Supernails is my favorite superhero of all times. Err, maybe the people who make up supernails are the heroes. Either way, these people know what's up when it comes to manicures, pedicures, and waxing eyebrows. I love supporting family owned businesses. And boy oh boy! This is as family as it can ever get. There are only 4 people working at this store and guess what? They're siblings! The cutest ever, right?! The bosslady is the oldest one out of them (but they have a few more siblings who don't work there) and then there's her sister and two brothers. All working together under one roof :) I've been here twice in one month and that's a lot for me, considering the fact that I pay for manicures once a year. LOL. Van hooks it up with quality acrylic manicures each time. And they last for a long time too! She is so personable because she will take the time to get to know you and make conversation while doing your nails. ALSO, if within a week, a nail breaks... then they will for sure repair it for you. Free. Of. Charge. Wow how awesome of a service is that?! They truly care. And that's why I will keep going back to these superheroes. Van also waxed my eyebrows. And man I had my brows on fleek for daaays. They were awesome af! I came here on a whim to get my nails and toes done just before a wedding. They are super friendly and nice. I didn't have an appointment but they took such great care of me still. Don't get me wrong, they accept walk-ins but I literally showed up about 2 hours before we had to leave. Steve did such a great job on my gel mani. And his sister Van had my stained blue toe nails looking super cute in my yellow polish. Plus... I ran into an old friend from 20+ years ago, who said she's been going there since before I knew her. And now she comes here from Antioch just to get taken care of by them. That was just more assurance that I was in the right spot. read more

The best! They seriously are the nicest people ever and the service is 2nd to none! Steve is a master with nail designs. They genuinely care about their customers and always remember you by name. I used to go here all the time when I lived in the area. Now, I'm kind of far away but I still try to go when I can. Even when I hadn't been in there for several years, when I walked in I was greeted by name. They asked about my mom and her dog that came with her like 10 years ago. Good prices. Superdirty. Crowded, poorly ventilated nail shop. Unhealthy practices to include dirty tools and supplies. The nail tech literally used foil from what looked like what they used to cover their lunch to foil my gel nails. It was disgusting, I could see food particles on the foil! The towels they have laid out on the table seem to never been changed. There are clippings, nail polish and who knows what. I really don't know why I stayed. But in the end the paint job was decent. I am however never coming back. read more

Stopped by for a pedicure. First visit during this pandemic. Van and her team are taking every precaution possible in making sure the rules are followed that is masking up and social distancing. The team here knows what they are doing. Very welcoming and accommodating. They are far much better than other salons around the place. This review is for the gel mani I received today, 04/21/2018. The positive: my nail technician was friendly. The negatives: 1) My nail tech says "show me your nails" and gestures to the dirty towel laid out in front of me. How did I know it was dirty? There were old NAIL CLIPPINGS embedded in the towel. I hover my hands over the towel and I think she noticed the look on my face. She takes the towel, shakes the clippings onto the floor and folds the towel before setting it back down in front of me. 2) She proceeds to use the electric buffer to buff the gel polish off my nails. Okay.. I figure she's just exposing the top layer before applying foils. Turns out, I was wrong. She buffed and buffed, no foil. My nails are now paper thin. 3) The UV machine she asked me to stick my fingers in was malfunctioning and it felt like my fingers were burning. Apparently she knew this machine was broken but she didn't bother to use a different machine. Mind you, there was only one other person in the salon at the time and this person was receiving a pedi. Could it be that they only have ONE (malfunctioning) UV unit?? 4) There are visible bubbles in my polish job and she cut one of my fingers during the cleaning of my cuticles. Only my cuticles aren't clean, she left me with a bunch of hangnails. I'm seriously debating whether or not I should report this salon to the health department. read more

I'm so glad I found their yelp page! I've been going to these guys for 9 years. Steve is definitely the best! When I was in high school I would go to him for a full set. They do an amazing American manicure...no one could ever tell my nails were fake! Also the designs they do look awesome. It's a family run salon and the other people are good but Steve is the best for full sets. If you are going for a mani or pedi then you can use someone else. I went there once and Steve was on vacation and so this guy did them and they came out awful. read more

I'm please to say after moving to Hayward and searching all the near by nail salons. I finally found a nail technician that provides not only quality work but great customer service. Danny was really nice and did an awesome job on my nails. These pictures were taking a few days after getting them done. After me going in to Mommy mode washing dishes cleaning up the house and work mode. My nails still look great and are holding up outstanding. I would truly recommend giving this shop a try, Danny was awesome!!! read more

She spent real time talking to me about my nails--my habits, what I struggle with, what I prefer--so she could help me care for my nails long-term, not just for the day. That alone stood out to me. Her technique is incredibly gentle, precise, and detail-oriented. Nothing felt rushed. She paid close attention to shape, length, and symmetry, and made sure I loved each step before moving on. One thing I really appreciated: the tips she put on feel like my real nails. No heaviness, no bulkiness, no thick edges. They feel light, natural, and perfectly blended. I actually kept touching them because I couldn't believe how natural they felt. It's the best and cleanest application I've ever had. Peter - Pedicure Peter was just as impressive. I needed a pedicure done so bad and given their yelp review I trusted this place. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed walking out of here. I posted a final photo of the work done on my toes as you can see how messy and and honestly just not good work at all. The person who did my nails was a male Vietnamese guy. Honestly, I was so annoyed by the end of it because he was cleaning the sides of my nails and since he was so busy talking literally cut my skin cause he was using the tool and looking behind him while talking to everyone else. I also had to ask him to clean the sides of my nails just so its not filled with skin that he had already cut up. So when he applied the nail polish I waited to see what else he was going to do because I can see how messy it was. Once it was dry the picture below was the result of this mediocre work. I think they're only good for their manicure which I haven't tried but it appears that's majority of their photos on their yelp.
