On top of that, purchasing their protection plan was required, and the cost was based on the original price or MSRP, not the discounted price. By the end, the "sale" didn't feel like a sale at all. The promotions sounded great in marketing, but in-store they came with so many conditions that it felt deceptive rather than transparent.

Since we saw so many positive reviews, we decided to stop by The Neighborhood Jeweler on Saturday morning for a battery replacement in a watch. The Neighborhood Jeweler is located off of the 95/Cheyenne in a large shopping plaza. There is spacious amount of parking available. As soon as I entered, Frank greeted me and I provided him my watch. It took him approximately 10 minutes to change out the battery and fix the watch! Frank is really nice! It was $10.00 for a battery replacement and the watch was functioning again!

He took care of the resizing quickly and professionally, even while the store was busy. After I left, I realized I had forgotten my warranty card at the store. He personally shipped the card to me across town using private shipping, and even included a handwritten note thanking me and apologizing for the inconvenience. The main reason for the service was to ensure its smooth operation and prevent any issues. However, the service took longer than the quoted timeframe, which was annoying but could be overlooked. Fast forward to December 29, and I brought my watch in because I had three new issues that were not present before the service. The eight Roman numeral fell out of the face to the glass, the crystal was swapped out for a lower-quality one, and the hand would move by itself, misaligning the time. I brought my watch in today to get these issues resolved, as it was stated that if there were any issues with the service or the movement, I could bring it back in. I dropped it off and was called an hour later to inform me that it was not covered under the service. I've had this watch for over four years without any issues, except for the few months after the service performed by Forever Jewelers. Now, I have three new issues with the business refusing to take responsibility for their craftsmanship. They told me that if I wanted the issue fixed, it would cost me an additional $250, which is not even considering the replacement glass crystal.

I stood patiently for 5 minutes to get a price on a guitar (the only one where the tag was not visible). When the man standing four feet away called, "Next," I asked what the price was. He said, "One minute," and instead helped the next person who had just shuffled up to the counter. He deliberately did not look at me. My question would have taken five seconds to answer. It was very rude, as I was waiting longer than the other person.
