After this evening's experience I'd pay 5x the SuperShuttle price from my own pockets the next time I travel to NOT use them: *1-1/2 hour wait time (asked the representative about the advertised 15-20 minute time and she told me "that has nothing to do with us"...then who should I speak to then? The website designer? My internet provider?!) *Pick up car switched repeatedly. *Chaos when they actually decided to get around to picking me up Rode with them before as part of a larger group previously and it was the same story so I should have known. Worst service ever, so I make a reservation for pick up from jfk, when I get to the pick up station at 12:30am to confirm they tell me a hour, so I waited a hour goes by I call them back now they tell me there won't be a jfk pick up till 3:45am!!!!! A nice way to get from the airport to your destination and back. The great thing: they drive you all the way from the airport to your final destination, right in front of your door! So there's a max of 10 passengers in the car and they will drop of whoever is the first in the route and work their way up to the destination the farthest away from the airport. On the way back they'll also pick you up at your door and drive you to the airport and as we flew in and out of different airports in NYC would still drive us up there - I think on their website they say serving all airports. Nice! The drivers usually drive a bit "wild" but NYC traffic is wild anyways, so they kinda just adjust, I guess. So it takes some time to get to or from the airport but they pick you up way ahead, already calculating for heavy traffic in the city and bring you to your destination on time. For two people it is approximately 36 bucks which is a good offer. So if you can allow some more time for the ride (believe me, a cab won't be faster if you live far out! And public transportation is good but of course less convenient) you should definitely give Supershuttle a try! read more

I used to have a love/hate relationship with Super Shuttle. The first couple times I used the service it was a breeze. Picked me up on time and the wait at the terminal was tolerable. I didn't mind waiting 20-30 min for a ride that was only costing me $18. But now my relationship is pure hatred cause the last few times have been Horrible! And yes, that is with a capital H. On one particular trip the driver overcrowded the van. Every inch of every seat was taken up and there was so much luggage it was impossible to see out the (rather large) back window. I was happy I didn't have anything fragile in my suitcases! If that wasn't bad enough, the driver starts telling people where to sit. Ummm.... excuse me, last I checked it was 2009, not 1950 and I am not Rosa Parks! Dude got quite a shock when he told me to move to the back seat and I looked him square in the eye and replied "Hell no!" He tried to argue but eventually realized I was not going to be moving. WTF, seriously?! And then on my last trip the driver hit a taxi, but kept driving (naturally) and drove over the corner of a curb with the left side of the van, going at least 45MPH and I kid you not, I thought we were going to flip over. I use SuperShuttle like I use toothpaste...all. the. time. I've had good experiences (well, good is relative) and I've had the painful experiences. But seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriously--when cabs will easily run you close or over $40 and I'm not the "get on the subway at 5am with my luggage" kinda girl, the $18 they charge you is like throwing pennies in the air. Quite worth it. I say just be prepared for anything. For example coming back into the city during one of those surprise NYC street fairs/festivals/bike races/protests. Definitely make sure you throw in a carry-on size carton of patience in your hand luggage. ALSO! The last time I traveled I thought I'd be slick and call ahead to arrange a pick up for myself at the airport to take me back into the city. Mmm, still had to wait 25mins (aka just save your cellular minutes and don't bother calling ahead) and then we swung back around to the same terminal I got picked up at and picked up another person. Hmm. Things to have thought about. But you always meet some crazy interesting characters. For example, the woman who asked "Isn't Orlando one of those themepark like cities???" Right. And also the woman whose boyfriend had beat her up the day before, then tricked her kids into drinking, then called the cops on them and sent them to rehab. Mmmhmm. Gems of stories. But no, no--I recommend the Super Shuttle...the Blue Van. Even though you'll get to the airport waaaaaaaaaaay early and you'll probably have some crazy driver who will scrape other cars on the narrow NYC streets, and you may spend at least an hour in the actual van....they're good peeps. Think about it, you can party until last call and then sprint home in time for your 3:30/4am pick up and be good to go. Plus, I like the fact that they didn't hold it against me that one 3am time I sprinted home...decided to "take a little shut-eye".... read more

It took over four days for a customer service person to get back to my urgent request for asisstance - kind of says it all about Supershuttle. Eventually the driver arrived. HOWEVER...not only did I wait for over an hour and a half, but further then it took more than another 2 hours to arrive at my destination.I was the last stop and the driver failed to get payment from another customer before dropping them off, necessitating going all the way back to their hotel. The wait / trip from Newark to NYC always takes an excessive amount of time but this trip was absolutely ridiculous. I "checked in" around 3:40 PM and was not delivered home until close to 8PM!!! This is totally unacceptable - even from Supershuttle. Inexpensive it may but not at the cost of this much time!!!! read more

This is a review about my experience & observations with Super Shuttle between Newark Liberty International Airport & Manhattan. Booked the reservation in advance. Arrived on a Monday morning from a red eye from SFO. Made our way from the luggage pick up to the super shuttle kiosk. (Newark's luggage pickup is dumpy & run down BTW). walked up said we had reservations - some very terse woman in a super shuttle outfit types some stuff on a computer, told us to sit down and would call our name when ready. She wasn't into really answering any questions - like how long until we get picked up, how many people are in the van, welcome to new jersey (I suppose her curt manner was the welcome). After some time that seemed line an eternity, we got our names called - along with a couple of other people. We got in and drove. We spun the super shuttle Wheel-O-Fate and of course it turns out we were the last to get dropped off. After sitting in traffic on one turn pike after another, we got to drive from the top of Manhattan all the damn way to the bottom of Manhattan. Again it seemed to take an eternity. Note to self - expect it to take 2+ hours to get from the airport to your hotel in Manhattan (i.e. - take a cab if someone else is paying :-) ) Return trip - Saturday, 6 days later Super shuttle had our pickup time set 3 hours prior to the flight. I thought that might be a little excessive so I called them and back it up 45 minutes. We were picked up right on time and again we rolled the Super Shuttle Wheel-O-Fate. First to be picked up... drat... Now there were two of us and the van holds 12 people.... We made a complete tour of Manhattan again, some parts of it twice until that damn van was full. (I had a couple of taxi drivers offer to drive us for 80 bucks (what I paid super shuttle) - their offers were looking pretty good right now) Then we got on some turnpike - or tried to and sat in traffic. Long story short - well we made it to the airport with like 3 minutes to spare (they closed the airplane door behind me as soon as I stepped foot on the plane) with a few more grey hairs on my head as part of it. Note to self - if using super shuttle to go from Manhattan to Liberty Newark, expect to be picked up THREE hours before... or... or... pay the same amount or a little more for a cab ride. read more

Flight from AUS (my beloved, tiny, pretty Austin-Bergstrom International Airport) to JFK (a huge, gaping portal to hell), which, Google tells me, would be a 1,780 mile trip, or about 1 day 3 hours, trip by car: 3 hours, 35 minutes Shuttle from JFK (a big joke) to Trump Place (condo towers at Riverside Boulevard and 70th) in minimal traffic, which, Google tells me, is 20.1 miles, or about 37 minutes by car: 4 hours, 10 minutes. FOUR HOURS AND TEN MINUTES. Moral of the story: SuperShuttle is a joke from the depths of hell. Use at your own risk. p.s. Somehow SuperShuttle in Austin, TX, doesn't suck quite so royally. My driver in New York was quite possibly crazy and played the weather radio station for four hours (hello! It's raining! it's cold!), and my driver in Austin was seemingly sane and played Celtic Woman (kinda lame, but peaceful before a flight). So don't take this as a review of all SuperShuttles, just this one. read more

This would not be my first choice in getting from the airport to a hotel and I certainly wouldn't take it back for a returning trip to the airport. First, we had to wait about 30 minutes in the airport for the shuttle to come pick us up. Then, we had to make a bunch of stops around the airport to pick up other passengers. Once the van was full, we stopped again because for some reason the driver thought another person could fit in the back. They couldn't so it was just a wasted stop. Even if the seats are made to fit 4 people in the back, it wouldn't be comfortable and no one wants to be squished in like a sardine. The van squeaked along as we left the airport. When we got to the tollway, I was shocked to see that the driver was paying cash for the toll instead of using an autopay tag! What kind of business is this? Luckily our hotel was the first stop and we were able to get off first. read more

Waited 2 hours for a car from laguardia airport. This reservation was made 2 days in advance. The customer service rep first said there was no car assigned but it would take 45 minutes. I could have hailed a cab if they were honest about the time. The driver was great but I would not recommend supershuttle to anyone. They do not respect your time. read more

Work for a hotel, tried confirming a guest shuttle they give you a hard time. Stephanie was refusing to give me a last initial to her name, after asking to speak with her manager because I was not satisfied she placed me on hold and said she will now be able to assist me. Rude service, if you put me on hold for a manager I would have loved to speak to one especially when a 5 minutes reconfirmation for a guest takes 15 minutes because rep was rude and was having a poker face attitude like NO, yes, can't help. Rude service, never have a issue with go airlinks with our guest confirmations, wish they would help easier without giving a hard time. read more

NOT super! Pick up scheduled for 4:30 am for an 8:30 flight at Laguadia. Picked up 2 other people- expected- but then went to JFK first. Both myself and the other passenger expressed concern about making our flights- hers was at 8:15 am. Driver dumped me first, at ARRIVALS, not departures, at 7:50 am where the driver said I'd have to get myself to the right area. He didn't have time to go to departures! I literally ran and was THE last person to board the plane. Don't know if they other person made their flight. Trip home? Equally bad. Redeye from the west coast got me in to JFK this time. Checked in online, and stood outside for more than 40 minutes, making and receiving multiple calls from Super Shuttle, trying to get them to find me! Told them terminal and passenger area letter. No good. Driver was parked in a lot and wandering through the crowd outside looking for me! No sign with my name- just wandering. Like he was going to find me easily this way?? Finally stood next to a police car to help him find me. Then walk all the way back to the parking lot. Live on the island south shore, east end and I'm now going to massapequa then Islip airport before I get home. Writing from the van. Wondering how long this trip is going to be........... Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the stress and 8 extra hours of travel time. read more

Disclaimer, **this is only for the service FROM home TO the airport** This is the second time I've used super shuttle to get from Spanish harlem to Newark. LGA and JFK are generally and easily accessible by cab but Newark is just too far and expensive (over $70) by cab. super shuttle at a mere $23 +tip is a great deal. I had an early morning flight and my driver was prompt and arrived even 10 minutes earlier than the projected pickup time. I received two reminder texts messages. One the day before and one the same day with the ETA of the driver. The ride was a bit bumpy, but what do you expect...it's NYC people. I got to Newark with plenty of time. After perusing the horrible reviews on yelp, it seems like the service is really lacking when you take it FROM the airport to your destination. If you're in that situation, it's probably best to take a taxi, uber or public transport. However, if you're going TO the airport, super shuttle is the way to go. read more

The third time I've used Super Shuttle in as many weeks, they took over an hour and a half to come to the airport. When I arrived at Newark airport around 10:30PM they said it would be a 25 minute wait, which I thought was odd, but complied. 25 minutes went by and no shuttle came. I saw no Super Shuttle employee, no shuttle and no announcement was made so I called again. The operator stated that they came into the terminal to pick me up but that I was "not ready." This was of course a preposterous notion as I had been waiting in the lobby the entire time. They said they would send another shuttle in 20 minutes. This did not come either. I called again an they said it would be 30 minutes more. It finally came but made several lengthy stops and even came back to the same terminal I had been at before departing the airport. I did not get home to Manhattan until 2AM. Super Shuttle refuses to refund any part of my trip. read more

Your business model serves your company's pocketbook, NOT your customers. Making van drivers work as franchisees results in poor driver behavior and terrible customer service. I used SuperShuttle to leave LaGuardia. Pick up time (after I used the online check-in system) was supposed to be 7p. The van didn't come until 8p. And then, I didn't get dropped off until 9:30p. I understand that a ride share would add extra time, but these things that happened DID NOT WORK: 1) My driver tried to pick up additional customers - at the direction of his dispatcher - even after the van had no more space for luggage. 2) Other passengers had been picked up and circling around the airport for over an hour already. 3) And the van tracker showed the assigned van was in the same location, 10 minutes outside the airport, for over an hour. Customers are at the whim of van operators who delay driving passengers to their destination until the van is packed full. Good luck retaining your customers in the face of unpredictable, unsteady service. Especially with other transportation options available, I won't be waiting around for your company to figure it out. At least there is a definitely time limit when you're getting dropped off AT the airport by SuperShuttle. But riders beware, should you be looking to user SuperShuttle to LEAVE the airport. read more

I still love Super Shuttle. I've used it numerous times since my first review to go TO the airport. My ONE experience going FROM the airport was awful. One experience was enough to leave it at that-- one experience. Never again. However, especially if you live uptown close to GWB and are going to Newark, it is almost certain you'll be the last stop and, therefore, basically pay $26 or whatever to get to Newark in under 30 minutes. Plus, they have a great iPhone app and you can check where the van is so you don't stress about getting there one time. Hooray! read more

Never again. I'm writing this review as I sit in the back seat of a supershuttle van. Ive given them a good enough chance and this 1-star review is based on my last 3 rides to Newark. First off, there is no logic behind their pick up times. I am 30 minutes into the ride and we are picking up other passengers, and we have driven past my apt twice, and will do so a third time before heading out the city (I live near the holland tunnel- logically the people that live closer to the "exit" of the city should get picked up last instead of being dragged to midtown, no?) So, I'm waiting outside and the driver shows up late, (I know it's 6am, but a smile or a "hello" wouldn't kill you haaamie) I ask him if I can sit in the front, and he says "sure, if you want to sit on pee" and proceeded to tell me that someone "couldn't hold it"...um, wtf. That should sum up the general interior condition of the van. Oh and last time I was picked up from Newark to NYC, I pre-planned and made a reservation, paid $25, and once at the airport the driver was picking up last min rides for $16, i complained, called supershuttle, they apologized said someone would call me, and that never happened. I've tried to be empathic towards today's driver, and tried to envision his life and how stressful it must be to pick up random people all day long and deal with NYC traffic, but I realize it's not the drivers fault, it's the company- the lack of organization. This is the worst car service I have ever had! I will NEVER use this service again. If I didn't cancel the reservation and take a taxi instead. I would have missed my flight. The van was more than 30 minutes late and they didn't even bother to call and send a text to update me. When I called the customer services and asked about the status, my answer was to wait for another 30 minutes (with no apologies!!). The customer reps are poorly trained with horrible attitude. They put you back on hold (intentionally) when they don't want to deal with you and because the system reroutes you to a new rep if they don't pick the phone call back up in 5 minutes later (stupidest customer care policy i've ever heard). After I talked to the third rep, i just had it. Canceling my res was only the positive thing in my trip. It will take a 3-5 days to get 20 bucks back. No call back. 4. After the no show and no update as to the location of my van, I had to take semi-costly taxi to my hotel. 5. Called customer service for the 3rd time. Agent was very rude and tried to cut me off when I explained my frustration. Never apologized for the poor service or the fact that I sat at an airport for an hour. 6. I asked for refund and he reluctantly sent cancellation. He did not any note he would refund. Then hung up on me abruptly. 7. This is the 2nd time, Supershuttle was a no show. What the *bleep* ?? A friend suggested I try this app to get to Manhattan from the airport (LGA). I put in all my info and request a ride. They say I'm approved for the ride, and show on a map at the bottom of the screen that my ride is in the airport queue, shown by a little car icon. They suggest I move to a "welcome center". Where? What? I try to contact the driver to see where he is. Should I walk to him? Is he coming my way? I didn't get a response. No ETA and zero further communication from the app. I waited about 10-15 minutes. The car icon did not move. Screw this, I'm getting in a cab. I try to cancel the ride and the app refuses to let me. I exit out of the app hoping this will cancel it. Instead I get a text 30 minutes after the fact that my car is now on the way, from a completely different location and was not the same car that they said was coming earlier. I was already in Manhattan and out of a cab by now. I call to get a refund. Super Shuttle charged me for the ride and said "to bad, so sad. we've got your money." The guy on the phone said, "I'm not IT. I have no idea how the app works. But I'm going to send an email to corporate with your request for a refund. It takes seven to ten business days for them to get around to reading it though." Upon research I realized that this works more like bus than uber or lyft. I guess I should have known hence the word shuttle. But I was thinking more a pool or rideshare kind of thing. Nevertheless, I had never heard of Super Shuttle and didn't know anything about it. The app did not explain where a welcome center was or why I needed to go there. It didn't give an ETA. It didn't let me communicate with the driver. It didn't do much besides take my money. Afterwards, I still don't see the point because even the public transportation would have been faster. Super Shuttle, please tell me what I was supposed to do in order to successfully use this service. Please. Please tell me. You guys just stole 22 bucks from me at the beginning of my vacation. No issues getting to the airport. Booked online 2 days in advance. Cost $35 for 2 people. When booking, the site listed various options for pickup times. The options ranged from 12pm to 1:15pm for a flight leaving from Newark at 4:30pm. I went with the 12:30-12:45 option. The van arrived at 12:37pm. The driver was friendly. He confirmed the destination and loaded the luggage in the back. When we got in the van there were already 6 people waiting in the van from 3 different pickups. The driver made 2 additional pickups which took 20 minutes. We arrived at the terminal at 1:41pm with plenty of time to spare. Overall the experience was good and was far less expensive than taking a taxi and even less expensive than taking the train. My only complaint is that the drive was a bit rough. In part from the drivers aggressive driving and in part from outside factors such as bad roads and other drivers. read more

Honestly, no stars would be most appropriate. I'm in the middle of the ride from hell. My plane hit the ground three hours ago and I'm still not home. First, my wait time for pickup was 20 minutes. 45 went by, I called, was told 15 more. Got switched to a diff van. Did an hour and half of circular pickups. Driver drove like a bat out of hell so much so I just knew we would hydroplane. We just made it to the first stop in manhattan and for some reason he went inside the building and we are just out here like it isn't already 1am. I let the delivery to the airport part trick me into thinking pickup could be okay, but I swear on all that I love I will never take this from the airport again. read more

Wow, wish I had read the reviews first. Took a Super Shuttle van to LGA - no problems. Although picked me up waaay to early for my flight but whatever, it is cheap. The problem was on the return. As others have said the desk isn't labelled at all. I make a reservation with the girl at the desk and she tells me 1/2 hour wait. I was thinking I could be home in a cab in the time it took to wait (should have gone with that feeling) but decided since it was cheap and I wasn't travelling with my dog I would wait it out. 45 minutes later, I'm called to the desk to be told that my van wasn't there. I stand there for 10 minutes then ask - really, how much longer because it has now been an hour. A couple of minutes later my driver shows up and I get the duty of putting my own luggage in the van - hey thanks! Then I climb in the van, that has other riders in it to wait another 10 minutes while the driver is approaching people at the airport to offer rides. ISN'T THAT ILLEGAL????? I ask the driver how much longer we are going to wait (not rude, not cursing) and his response was "the taxis are over there" Yes, they are and I will be in one forever forward. PS - Super Shuttle: I'm responsible for approving the travel plans of our company - we move 100 people 2-3 times a year. We will never employ your services regardless of how cheap. read more

Not so super shuttle. Not at all super. A misnomer, actually. I used SS on a recent trip to and from home on semester break. I'm a student so I thought I'd save a few bucks. The guy that picked me up on the way to the airport was surly, unhelpful, and drove like a maniac. Did I mention that the super shuttle has NO HEAD RESTS on the passenger seats, so if this psycho gets into a wreck, guess what...the best thing you can hope for is to be paralyzed from the neck down, because your neck is going to snap clean off. I might not have worried so much if this guy didn't drive the van like we had been shot out of a big blue cannon. Did I mention that if you live way uptown, like way way uptown, you should NEVER consider using this service--they will pick you up first, and then you will have 6 or so stops, waiting for 20+ minutes in the van while the driver calls the next pick up, and when they don't answer, pulls up and rings the bell for another 15 minutes...not every passenger is so "super" on super shuttle. On my way back from JFK, I decided to give it another try. Why did I do this? My plane landed at 9:15 am, I had my bags by 10 am...and at NOON this dude comes to pick me up. As other reviews have said, when the super shuttle shows up they take a few people at a time, who all seem to be going where I'm not. TWO HOURS it took for the guy to show up and of course, I'm always the last stop so it ended up being a total of 3+hours. Never again. So I saved $50 or 60 bucks...But I spent several hours of my life sitting and waiting and that's worth much more to me. NEVER again. read more

I take SuperShuttle in cities other than New York and Newark because it is run a bit better. But, from now on, I may defer to the $15 Newark Express plus the metro rather than deal with the shuttle in the NY metro area. Like with the one from LaGuardia, you never get picked up within the time estimated. Rather than "less than 30 minutes", it turns into 35, 40, 45... maybe even 60. Then, add on time to do pickups at every terminal and drop offs as the driver tries to figure out where everyone is going and how to get there in an efficient manner with his iPad while attending to traffic, traffic lights and general driving rules. It's a bit nuts and nerve-racking. As for pickups, I have a 50/50 split of bad and fine. Sometimes they pick you up and all is well. You get to the airport on time with your life and luggage still in tact. Other times, you call to change your pick up address, and instead of changing your current reservation (#1), they start a SECOND one (#2) and do not cancel the first. They call you to say they are outside on time. You go outside, and no one is there. You call to confirm. They are at the address for reservation #1. You clarify the situation and they say they will refund you despite saying you were supposed to specifically request a refund when you changed the pick up address (as if it's not implied). You are put on hold only to get a new operator who knows nothing, makes you use more peak time cell minutes to explain--meanwhile the clock ticks on towards your flight time with no pick up in sight. She then puts you on hold as she tries to find someone to give you a refund. A third operator answers and says it's not her department and to call a different number--the one you called in the first place... You hang up, wait a bit longer and finally get picked up by your shuttle 60 minutes late because the only option the last rep gave you was to, "take alternative transportation, but we cannot refund this trip since the 4-hour time window has passed." Forget the fact that they messed up and are significantly late... The driver apologizes, but then proceeds to drop you off LAST even though you are at the first terminal just because everyone else is at another one. I presume the reasoning is to completely piss off one person rather than seven... But, this puts you at risk for losing your flight; luckily you checked in the night before or there'd be even more hell to raise. Back home, you write a complaint to corporate instead of having another wonderful phone experience. A week later, you call SuperShuttle because you have gotten no email response, and they state that they didn't have your contact info and that's probably why they hadn't responded to you--despite the fact that they have your life's information when you make the reservation. Four weeks pass, and still no response. Finally, after another email, they agree to refund the duplicate reservation but offer no compensation for shitty hospitality. Shitty Newark SuperShuttle. Better Business Bureau complaint-worthy for sure. read more

My pickup from Manhattan was over an hour after the schedule pick up time window closed, and so was my pickup from Laguardia airport. Both ways however once on the shuttle it was smooth and efficient. My other negative experience was the instructions on how to get your shuttle upon your plan arriving in the city. I checked in online and proceeded to the costumer service kiosk as the directions told. I clarified with the person there on where the bus picks me up, and they were rude and acted like I was stupid. I know the people at the service kiosks are NOT with super shuttle - however I do believe some clearer instructions on how we meet the shuttle once were at the desk would prevent things like this from happening. (Clarify if the person meets the bus outside at the sidewalk or if the driver comes in, etc). Now although the experience wasn't great, the people and costumer service otherwise was great with super shuttle. And as long as you're not short on time - and leave at least 1hour + of travel time it is a good way to save money. read more

Sigh. Nothing new to add. Made a reservation, was given a 15-minute wait time, and got myself into a cab 30 minutes later. The best part: there was a totally empty Super Shuttle van in front of me the entire time I waited, and the guy finally got out...to smoke a cigarette. When I called to cancel, the woman I spoke with put me on hold to hear dispatch's side of the story. Sigh. The good: canceling my reservation gave me something to do during my expensive cab ride. I RATHER WALK. if you want to save money, take the train. otherwise, use a taxi. i canceled the last two reservations i made with super shuttle after the driver was more than 25 mins late for pick up. who wants to be stressed before a vacation??? and no, i don't want to be picked up 5 hours before my flight so you can CYA. read more

I waited for the shuttle for 1 hour. Called the customer service 3 times. Each time, they gave an attitude instead of apologizing. The last person told me to call a cab. She also mentioned that i will get reimbursed. I barely made it to the airport. It was super stressful. Now i am trying to get reimbursed. They are telling me that i can only get the difference back minus tips. I don't know what kind of games you are playing with the people. Overall horrible service. Advice to people: You are much better off by taking a cab. Pay $30 more and stay stress free. read more

I traveled from the JFK to a hotel with a driver named Jose, and had a terrible experience ever. When I got on board the shuttle, I found the seat belt for the seat on the 3rd row & door side was totally broken and looked unable to function. However, the driver assigned one of the passengers, which was not me, to that seat. Having no way to fasten, this passenger traveled all the way without the seat belt. Since the driver was a kind of rough driver, I was very horrified to see the passenger without the belt. I was totally surprised how they ignore the safety of the passengers. If they force the drivers to do pre-service safety check as a routine, I believe this will never happen. My observation is that this is a very serious incident and a violation of the law. I would like to know how they think of and are going to deal with this incident. Later I will attach the picture that you can find the broken seat belt. In addition, there was a sign in the cabin saying "THE DRIVER'S TIP IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE VOUCHER", which was quite confusing for me. Every time I make a reservation with them, I enter how many % of the fare I offer you as gratitude. In this sense, I believe the tip is included in the payment for the reservation. read more

SuperShuttle is a SCAM. Waited at the airport for nearly an hour because it would not leave until all seats were full and booked. Then the drop offs are not remotely near each other and you end up going ALL over town. Spent 2 hours in van (longer than my actual flight). Unless you are looking to waste time and throw away money, take a Lyft. Never again. Big mistake. read more

Way cheaper than taking a cab especially if you don't know the area. It did take awhile for our driver to pick us up but he was OK. The traffic in the city on very late Friday evening was insane. He drove us around in circles but then again Midtown is a busy spot no matter what time you get off. If you're willing to wait and save yourself a bundle of money it's definitely worth booking in advance. read more

I like that I could prepay the tip so there's no awkwardness after I get my luggage from the van. It was nice to be able to fall asleep to the rain during traffic. My roommates saw the van on the street before I got the call on my cell phone. The operator hung up on me so I had to book this online. The wait from the airport looks like it sucks because the lounge was filled with people who had appointments, but when the van showed up it only picked up two people. read more

Okay not exceptional. It got us where we needed to be but the getting to it was terrible. Would take the Newark liberty coach instead. We pre-booked tickets online for a designated time. We were told to find the ground transpiration phone and call it. I would assume this allows the driver to know we are here and to come to the pick up spot. The instructions told us to find their desk upstairs. When getting there we weren't sure where to go, but saw all their vans lined up outside. So we went there, just to be told by our driver that we had to go back and find the desk and check in. Turns out the desk was just the Newark airport info desk. The lady was friendly and printed out another voucher to our printed confirmation and told us to wait half and hour. I was appalled since the vans are outside and we had a designated time and that 3 Newark liberty buses would have left during this time. 20 mins later that driver came back and asked specifically about us and why he was never called. After about ten minutes of confusion we were finally told to board the van. Then it went to terminal c then to a then to c again. I understand why, but they need a better system to organize All this 45 mins later we were on our way. He drove fast but jerky and car sickness is not fun. He dropped off other ppl an we were last. I kept myself busy following along on a map. It'd okay but expected better. Would take the bus next time. However this one drops you to your door so if you are unfamiliar with the city or do not live near a subway this is a good idea. read more
