WORST EXERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! I am giving this one star but only because I have to choose a star if I could I would give it zero! The shuttle picked us up at JFK to take us down to the Grand Hyatt. There was 4 people who did not respond when the driver called their names. The driver started searching for them, he walked up and down the hall over and over calling their names which was fine but he did it for 30min! Then he finally took us out to the van and started loading our bags. My wife is handicapped and requires a scooter to walk. We had told the company when we booked and they said the scooter would fit and it would be no problem. When we got to the van the driver looked at my wife's scooter and asked "that has to come?". When I told him yes he said "what am I suppose to do with it?". I said I did not know, so I folded it down and took everything off it that could come off. He then put us in the back seat which was very difficult for my wife. The driver then returned back inside JFK and left us sitting in the van for 45min before he returned. He came back with no further passengers he then drove around the airport 4 times, returning to the same place he picked us up 4 times. Finally after 2hrs total time he picked the last passenger up. When he loaded her suitcase it was sitting above the back seat right behind my head and every time he slammed on the breaks the suitcase slide forward and hit me in the back of the head! I spent the whole hour drive turned halfway around holding the suit case. This really caused my shoulder to hurt. So 3 hrs after we landed we finally reached our hotel---we thought---- he dropped us off on the far end of grand central station and we had to walk in rush hour for 1.5 blocks with me dragging our luggage and trying to help my wife. We are scheduled for them to take us back to the airport I will not be using them. And when I get home I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Limited service, tried to book a ride from LGA to New Rochelle (a 16 mile ride) and they DON'T SERVICE THE AREA. Westchester County? Really?

The early morning pick up to LaGuardia was fine. The pick up from LaGuardia was a nightmare. After waiting for over 3 hours with the dispatcher, they suggested I take a yellow taxi home to Greenwich Village. I was told that my prepaid fare would be reimbursed to my credit card. I contacted SuperShuttle online providing the appropriate reference numbers but no refund was done. I would use them again for early morning pick up but never again book & prepay a round trip. Do not use SuperShuttle. It's not worth the few dollars you might save. My friend and I booked a roundtrip SuperShuttle from EWR to UWS. On the way from EWR to UWS, it took us 2.5 hours to get to our destination. Because of this, we missed a concert that we had already paid for. Since we had already booked the return trip, we decided to give SuperShuttle another chance. This was a terrible idea because SuperShuttle took another 2.5 hours to pick us up/get to the airport and caused us to miss our flight. After the trip, they did not respond to my contact request until I followed up with 2 more emails. While they did refund us for both trips, it was not worth the trouble, stress, and extra time in our schedule, so I will not be using SuperShuttle again. read more

This was Jayride Supershuttle. We booked this shuttle to & from JFK & I would never use it again or recommend them to anyone. It wasn't so bad going to the hotel because there was no time constraint, although he drove by our area like 3 times - He had no idea where he was going. Going back to JFK- they wouldn't come at the time we said - they set the time and we would have had enough time, but she was late picking us up, she had to pick up several other people with luggage, and if our plane would have been on time, we never would have made it. We were all stuffed in this little bus with suitcases everywhere, stuck in traffic, trying to make our flight. We told them initially where we were going - it was totally unnecessary that we had to be all stressed out because they wanted more money from other riders. It's not worth it! If I could give SuperShuttle zero stars, I would. I booked SuperShuttle to take me to LaGuardia...prepaid online, and made sure to get one of the earliest time slots so that I'd be plenty early to the airport. My girlfriend thought I was being silly by booking the shuttle some four hours in advance of my flight, but I am so lucky that I did. SUPERSHUTTLE NEVER SHOWED UP TO TAKE ME TO THE AIRPORT. When the bus was 10 minutes past the 15-minute time slot during which it was supposed to pick me up, I called SuperShuttle... "We're sorry, there aren't any drivers available to take you to the airport today." WTF!? I had paid online ahead of time and made reservations. The operator told me I should just take a cab, and that if I sent them my receipt, SuperShuttle would refund half the cost of my cab fare. So it took me a while to catch a cab, and by the time I did, traffic had started to pick up...meaning my cab fare came to a hefty $50 before tip. I saved the receipt, and sent it into SuperShuttle. Even though I had given myself four hours to get to the airport, I just barely caught my flight (think running to the gate...). One month later, SuperShuttle FINALLY reimbursed me what I had paid online ahead of time for the service they never provided...but they never refunded half of my cab fare, as they had promised. To recap: -SUPERSHUTTLE never showed up. -Had to take a cab, they said they'd reimburse me for half of it. -They never did. -DON'T RISK TAKING SUPERSHUTTLE. You're better off taking the MTA bus that goes out there, or just shelling out the $$$ for a cab. read more

Honestly, I wish I could give this service zero stars. I will never again use Super Shuttle in New York City. The van was to pick me up at 4:30. I was not picked up until 5. No problem...I am a patient girl. When the driver picked me up, he started to give me attitude about being late. I had to snap on that a$$hole because I was the one outside in the cold rain waiting! He then backed down and told me that he was not trying to be nasty. He didn't even take my suitcase! I had to shove the suitcase into the back seat with me! This was the best part about my experience. This focker was driving like he was part of the Indy 500. He was serving in and out of lanes...and then he hit a car. Awesome. So he was pulled over, which in the heat of traffic took time and had us worrying about missing our flight. Super Shuttle needs to do a better job screening their drivers. I was CURSED AT by a driver AND an operator, on the SAME night. Yes, you read that right. I have a corporate account and offer my clients pick up service and sometimes drop off as well. Their driver was 20 minutes EARLY, their email confirmation gave the WRONG pick up time, and this guy gives me attitude and actually says PHUCK YOU to me before he hangs up. I call Supoer Shuttle to complain and get attitude from the "customer care" b1tch too. She reads my WRONG pick up time slowly as if I'm a child, so I told her to go Phuck mother, she responded with "Phuck You TOO" now I realize I cursed at HER first, but you're an operator at a company, have some professionalism, ESP. with a customer who has spent LITERALLY THOUSANDS of dollars in a year's time. Help captive by a foul-smelling middle eastern dude who talked incessantly on his phone about when he could "cash out," while he avoided the VanWyck for stop and go of Atlantic Ave. I would not have minded that too much..nice chance to see Brooklyn, Flatbush..but this ahole's idea of driving was punching the gas and slamming the brakes in stop and go traffic. Sucked so bad. Never EVER EVEREVEREVER again. This is not out of the norm, the average travel time is 3-4 hours from JFK to any point in Manhattan. So I tried the SupperShuttle once more after thinking the first time must of been a bad day. The first time, the driver was supposed to show up between 8-8:10am and instead shows up at 7:50am ringing my door bell like there is a fire and told me to hurry up! When I told him he was to be here at 8 he said "yea yea I need to go". He was then rude as can be to all the other passengers and simply ignored any questions. I tried them again today, this time from JFK...today was scary! I wasnt sure if to call the cops or what to do but I was actually scared for the life of everyone in the van. The driver had extreme road rage and after he almost got into the 3rd accident and my friend told him to take it easy, he told us to shut up and enjoy the view and "thats what insurance is for". When my friend told him he needs to calm down he said he can drop us off in the middle of the highway! He also got out of the airport about 30 minutes later then he should of because he yelled at a women who asked if she could sit in the front, she then walked away after he screamed at her for this request and so he drove around for 30 more minutes until he could get another person. We were all terrified and just wanted to get the hell out! DONT TAKE SUPPER SHUTTLE! take the train or take one of the shuttle busses such as Airporter that take you to grand central or port authority or just take a cab!! I created a Yelp account specifically to review this absolute terrible service. 1st time I took this shuttle the driver was 1 1/2 late. 2nd time they were 2 hours late and on top of that their drivers were EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful. I scheduled a trip from JFK to a hotel @ W 39th & 8th Ave. and prepaid online. Not only did the trip take 3 hours on a Sunday afternoon, the driver dropped me off at W 25th & 7th Ave. and said "the hotel is right down the middle of this road"...and that will be $22...(first saying I didn't pay, then saying I didn't tip.) The company promised a phone call to respond to my concerns within 48 hours, but never called me back. Not worth the trouble even if it were free!!! read more

Got picked up exactly on time, got a text, came to the airport with fairly small detours for pickups.

Horrible. Checked in with the phone app. Talked to the guy at the welcome center. We saw the car was close by. He said to wait where I was, and they would come and get me. Forty-five minutes later, I am still waiting in the exact same spot, and a different employee comes to check on me. We find out the shuttle left about thirty minutes ago. We recently moved to NYC and decided to reserve a service with them to JFK, they are NOT RELIABLE, we had to be very early at the airport and made the reservation one week in advance for a 4:50am pick-up, night before at 10pm, they called to say they could only picked us up at a later time, we were not going to make it on time for our flight, had to cancel and make other last minute transportation arrangements, that of course were much more expensive. I have used Supershuttle for the last 3 years going from Albany, NY to Tampa. My most recent trip was terrible. I booked in advance and at the last minute they added someone else to the schedule which caused me to get picked up 45 minutes late. At this point, i had to find another way to the airport because with their schedule i would have missed my flight since i only had 30 minutes to check bag, find gate and board. Will NEVER use them again. Hope Uber is available next time i travel to Tampa. I also requested a refund for the return trip and after 2 weeks i have heard NOTHING. Extremely poor customer service. The worst. Was going to take the train. Decided to "treat myself" to a van service this time. Supershuttle was a huge mistake. Car came 4 hours before the flight Van seats miserably uncomfortable, hurt your back. EARLY am flight, no traffic on the roads. I had to get up an hour earlier for the van, but an hour and a half later, still trapped in this painful seat, in the van, nowhere near the airport yet. We stopped at anothet airport. Driver yammering, passengers worried about missing a flight, because it is taking so long. If I had taken the subway/lirr, I would have been at the airport, gotten an extra hour of sleep, had a faster more comfortable ride, AND saved about ten bucks. Supershuttle is the worst. Horrendous. Scheduled a ride both to and from EWR. When I tried to go to EWR, the driver didn't arrive when s/he was supposed to, so I called customer service and was told the driver would arrive in 5-10 mins. After 15 mins passed and the driver didn't show, I called customer service again and was then told that the driver had already left...what?? Never saw a car and never got any sort of call from the driver. I just came back from my trip and arrived at EWR. I called to say I was at the airport and was told that the shuttle wouldn't be arriving for another 2 HOURS, so I'm now waiting in EWR until the trains to NYC start running again at 4:45 am. I've never had this much trouble traveling to/from an airport...ever. Needless to say, don't waste your time and money on supershuttle. read more

I landed at LGA at about 5:00 pm on a Friday. Used the app to let them know I was ready to be picked up, and got a call from the dispatcher telling me the super shuttle was late, it would be over an hour and I could cancel my reservation with a full refund. No, I said, I made a reservation and am counting on you to get me to my hotel. After another offer to issue a full refund, it dawned on me that they had no intention of picking me up, in an hour or ever, and I was on my own to get into Manhattan. I did get the refund and I did get to the hotel. I assume I was the only pickup and they weren't going to send a shuttle for one person, reservation or not. Go ahead, try these guys. Only 1 star for my pick up experience from JFK to Manhattan. I was on that shuttle for 3 hours!!!! I understand that there were a few stops and traffic can be heavy, but 3 hours, really! My family kept texting me wondering where I was. The driver was courteous and helpful. After much consideration, we decided that I would keep the reservation and have them take me back to JFK yesterday morning. The driver was courteous and helpful as well. I explained my concerns about being on the shuttle 3 hours, and he said that wouldn't happen on this trip! And he was right! He seemed much more knowledgeable and organized. POOR Review!!! Planned round trip from Home to LGA; LGA to Home. First part was just fine. Friendly driver, timely, clean van, etc. Coming home was a nightmare. Despite having scheduled a pick up and providing airline info, there was no van when I arrived. They texted me as soon as I landed. They even asked at some point if I had deplaned. Setting an expectation that once I reached curbside or shortly thereafter for sure, there would be someone waiting for me. Did not happen. The purpose of booking round trip is to make certain that there will be no wait upon arrival. Otherwise, one can merely walk to the curbside and hail also affordable transportation. After waiting for nearly an hour, I demanded a refund and found other transportation home. It was midnight, I was tired, had to go to work the next day. So needless to say, I was deeply disappointed... I was refunded only half my reservation fee. I felt that since they did not complete the contract I should not have paid for any portion of the contract. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE Service!!! Given that SuperShuttle has been in the game longer than most others and since competition is so steep and readily available (Uber, Lyft, MTA and such), I was astonished... I have recently used service from Newark International. It was not a problem. PERHAPS the problem is LaGuardia. Airport staff conveyed that this in not an unusual complaint about SuperShuttle. We had booked the EXECUCAR from Newark airport to Manhattan for 128.00. The driver never showed up after our flight was delayed. We waited for an hour.. called, and they could not even give a time for the car to show up. This was 2 a.m and it was after a stressful flight. So we asked them to cancel and took LYFT for 70.00. Lyft showed up in five minutes. It is one week since.. I filed a complained.. multiple calls and holds .. and I still have not received a refund. Will never take supershuttle again. There is a reason LYFT and UBER are so popular. It is quick and you only pay when you receive service.. not before. Don't waste your money on this service. read more

I think it's unacceptable that they try to put 8-9 people in a shuttle where only 5-6 fit comfortably. Also, the driver is rude, speaks on the phone while driving and argues with customers about directions. It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to get from JFK to my hotel in Manhattan. For $20, I thought I would be sharing the shuttle with 3-4 more people. If I had knew I'd have to share with 9 people, I would have taken a cab. read more

Booked a shuttle to pick me up at 7:00am. Wait around till 7:45am. Call the company, they tell me that I've "already been picked up." I tell them I was at my doorstep at the scheduled time. They tell me they already stopped at my building, tried calling my phone, and then left assuming I wasn't ready or there. I check my phone. No missed calls. I ask to speak to a manager. He tells me there are no more available shuttles for my flight, and that a refund will not be issued. I ended up using public transit, and still got there with plenty of time to spare - even with all the wasted time waiting for the shuttle. Avoid this company. Pay significantly less, and take public transit. You will be much happier. read more

I have been on the shuttle going to LGA for over an hour while the driver picks people up in the crap van. We are not even headed to the airport yet. The van arrived 30 min early. Then chastised me for being late. I showed him the reservation. We have already had one passenger hop off the death trap to hail a cab because she was going to miss her flight. I would have to but NYC on a rainy Friday is not the place to easily find a cab. Terrible, terrible. Didn't expect a lot due to the cheapness, but I did expect not to miss my flight. I have used SuperShuttle a few times and have never been very happy (last time I had to wait an hour for the van at the airport despite having a reservation for a specific pickup time) but this time was so bad that I am writing a review online for the first time and I will certainly never use them again. On the way to the airport they picked me up three and a half hours before my domestic flight and I was the last person picked up so I had a three hour wait in the airport. You rely on these services to take time of day, traffic, etc. into account when they schedule you. The way home was the kicker though. The van was so hot the chocolate in my bag melted, the seat belts didn't work (despite having apparently been recently replaced), the seats were shot so that metal bars were sticking into me causing back pain, and it took three and a half hours to get from LGA to upper Manhattan. I spent longer in the van than on the airplane. The driver was just as upset as I was but apparently he's not allowed to change the route so I sat in that boiling hot van for 3.5 hours as we crossed to the west side, then back to the east side, then to the west side again, then back east this time backtracking down the east side and then back to the west side, all in Friday summer traffic. I was stunned. Honestly if I had known that that was the route I would have gotten out and taken the subway. There is NO excuse for going cross town five times. This is not a cheap service. Next time I take a cab! I think it's only fair to add that super shuttle did grant me a partial refund. read more

I was left waiting for 2 hours and 20 minutes before a van picked me up. When I first called I was told 45 minutes. I called an hour later and was told that the van had been full and left without me--how is this possible when I reserved a place, paid in advance and was told to wait for this van?! I was told the next one would be 20 mins. 40 mins later, I was told 10 mins more. Etc etc and it was almost 2.5 hours before I got in a van. When I told the driver I'd been waiting over 2 hours he gave me a rude look and said "I've been out here 3 hours so don't worry about it." To sum up: Terrible service. Unreliable. Rude.
