Great small local venue with a dive bar feel that actually has a decent size stage and sound system. Was in town to catch the Soltera show and check out all the gorgeous big titty goth babes. Staff and security personnel are upbeat and friendly. The bartenders are fast and definitely work hard for their well deserved tips! Patio area right out front for all you smokers or just a place to chill between sets. Make sure you get a picture in the Photo Booth. I can't wait to come back and catch another show. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Awesome community-minded bar and live music venue. I first became acquainted with this place before the pandemic through the weekly Ink & Drink events, a social hang for people who like to draw and/or drink (you don't have to be an artist, but you will see lots of amazing artists there). I was so happy that they were able to hang on and are now back better than ever (although no more amazing pretzels, RIP), with a legit performing stage. I've now been here to see bands, to do the monthly Ink & Drinks, and to just hang with friends and have always had a great time. I really appreciate it that the owner is open to do so much with his space. Long may it thrive. read more

If I could I will give them a cero start. Really bad experience, we came to see one of the favorite bands and they have a go go dancer!!! My friend was taking videos like everyone else. The other go go dancer complained he was being inappropriate, but the one dancing didn't even complain when my friend was putting money on her. He was asked to leave the place, my friend offered the guy to see the videos, so he can see there was nothing inappropriate. But the guy (security, I guess) asked my friend to leave without even taking our word. Fist time here and for sure the last one. That's with out counting the customer service sucks!!!! Awful place!!! Morgue Breath. My friends and I headed to this venue to enjoy some heavy metal music on a Saturday night. Unfortunately the short time we were here we had a rude encounter with the yellow shades bouncer. Some of my friends who stayed watching some of the bands ended up also getting thrown out. I've been to hundreds of venues and bars over the decades and this was the first time I encountered such rudeness. Stopped by on a Saturday night to see one of my favorite bands play. Everyone from the door guy to the bartenders were super cool. They had extra masks for people like me who forgot theirs in the car. They don't serve food anymore so you might have to walk down to the nearby Mexican restaurant or burger joint to grab a bite. Parking is a pain so be prepared for that if you plan on coming here. Overall it was a great experience. read more

Came out here to meet up with a buddy or else I would have never found out this place was here. Location - Not in the best part of L.B. but in a main street easy to spot if you keep an eye for it. Parking - Parking will be tricky during the day, at night it might be a bit easier. Venue - Fully remodeled place with really cool lighting and theme. They also have a photobooth and a stage for performances. They also have about 4 tvs to watch games on. Staff - The guys who work here are very chill and nice. Price - Fair pricing on the drinks. Went last weekend to see a DJ friend who was performing. He was excellent, as was the band I saw. Drinks were good. However. I was very clearly ripped off at the door. I was given the price of the cover charge, and then upon getting a closer look at me, doubled the cost. I realize I am a female past the average age of most patrons. There was no sign telling the true cover charge. So when the guy disingenuously says "five dollars" and I get out the cash -- and then he says "I mean ten dollars"...did he get a glimpse of my cash? Put in 5 and keep 5 for himself? The whole exchange was so incredibly awkward and left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. But otherwise the place is great. read more

This was my first time visiting this bar. The outside is super dope because it has a mural that reads Long Beach. The inside of the bar is just as dope as the outside. The dance floor is a good size. I can say much about the drink prices because I came out on a broke night so I shoulda stayed my butt at home Super down side.... parking is awful! If you can't find street parking you have to park in private business parking at your own risk. They have posted town signs. read more

New Bar in MacArthur Park / MidTown of Long Beach. Recently opened in early July 2019. Ambiance: Retro 90's feel with BoomBox and local art. Reminds me of my older cousins first apartment back in 1995! DJ was spinning on Saturday night, decent tunes with videos playing behind. Bar: Cozy neighborhood feel, only about 12 bar stools. Few TVs and decent Beer Tap selection. Mainly mid shelf whiskey($30-$40 bottle) so wasn't impressed. Friendly barkeep always ready to mix or pour. Even on a slow night they had plenty of staff behind the bar. Location: Replaced Tip: Like most LBC bars, they don't have a crowd until 10pm or later. Very fun bar. A chill space to hangout with my friends and have a good time. Bartenders mixup drinks quickly and put them in beautiful glasses. Greetings, Recently, a friend showed me a review by a disgruntled patron and those comments elicit a curt response. Placing little credence in Yelp reviews, that normally show pettiness and give a platform to cry babies to winge about their fragile egos, I respond because of how off base the critique was. His gripe that the owner has no customer service skills is out of order. I've been frequenting this establishment with a group of friends during the last year precisely because of the exceptional customer service and their willingness to listen to customers wishes. In fact, it's the only bar I've ever visited that brought in a new beverage after I hinted that it'd be a good seller. If you feel the need to bash people and their business then at least write a review that touches upon the truth; not an arrogant diatribe with a snowflake's tone. My favorite line from the review was he will never return again. What a shame. You not returning would've been a great "review" as to how you felt instead of the weak attempt of shaming you put forward. Customers like this give all patrons a bad name and only further the disdain for whining Yelpers who hide behind their keyboard. read more
