On 1/29/26 I took my car to Caliber Collision on Walbert Ave. in Allentown, PA to have the hood and right side of my 2020 Lexus RX 350 (which has less than 13,000 miles on it) painted because of vandalism done with a knife. Painting the car doors required taking the doors off and removing the car door handles and then putting the car door back on and the handles back in place. I picked my car up on 2/17/26 (the cost was $4025) and I had difficulty opening the front passenger door, but I was able to open the door after five or six tries. I continued to have problems opening the door and went back to Caliber Collision on 2/23/26, I went back on 3/30/26 after I couldn't open the door even after 1010 attempts to open it, I went back on 4/13/26 and they put a new part in but I could not open the door and they kept the car to work on. They had to cut a hole in the outer shell and they ordered a new bracket and put the new door on but it was still the same issue, so they will have a vendor come to see if it is an electrical issue. On 4/24/26, one hour before closing, I got a call at 4:30 that the car was ready and I went in; I was able to open the door. Afterwards, I saw that the trim at the top of the door of the front passenger side sits higher on the door frame than the rear door and that there was a crimp and nine dents in the front door belt molding and a dent in the front door window frame molding as well as that the weather-stripping wasn't completely attached because it was missing some screws. I notified Caliber Collision of their mistakes and corrective work I would have done, at which time he took pictures of the damage they had caused. Because I didn't trust Caliber Collision to fix the work they had done, I went to a different auto body shop to have the moldings dented by Caliber Collision and the unattached weatherstripping replaced at a cost of $566.45, and they pointed out to me that the reason that Caliber Collision had difficulty putting the moldings on, which dented them, was because they put the skin on wrong. I asked Caliber Collision to be reimbursed for the costs of fixing their mistakes because of not trusting their work and the lifetime guarantee I was given and that the dents resulted from the skin not having been put on properly, but they refused to do so. During these times that I went back to Caliber Collision, I was told that the problem might be the wire, it was probably the seal which can stick because it's new and that it needs a couple of days of warm weather, it is probably the latch and a connecting rod, there might be a short in the system not recognizing the fob, maybe there's a short there where it thinks it's locked or unlocked. I was also told I shouldn't be afraid to force it, there must have been was previous damage to the door handle, I should have called on 2/20/26 rather than wait until 2/23/26, she checked it before I picked it up and was able to open it, the problem is the latch wire because it's not catching where it's supposed to catch and hold it, the latch is difficult to get in place when the door is shut, there was a problem with the original one, and Lexus should do a different design on the latch. On 4/24/26 when I asked what had been wrong, Nicole said "everything" and they had been sent a faulty lock rod and a faulty latch and they had to break the old trim panel. The technician said there had been a problem with the rod and hadn't been enough tension because the rod didn't want to go catch in order to release the latch. read more

My first experience with a body shop was at Supreme, and I must say if exceeded all expectations. Now, this body shop came highly recommended from a close friend, and I'm glad I went with them. My car had some damage to the front bumper after taking a hit from rebar that fell from a semi, and it needed to be replaced. The staff here were extremely kind, and were willing to work around my hectic work schedule which spoke volumes. I was able to drop my car off, get an estimate, and have it repaired seamlessly. Even working with me and some of the undamaged pieces to lower the total cost. When I went to pick up my car, the first thing I noticed was the clean new bumper that looked immaculate, it was placed perfectly, and color matched correctly. After looking it over a bit, I had also noticed that the staff had taken the time to wash my car and shine my tires! I went inside shortly after to pay for the repairs, and was greeted with kind hellos and family like atmosphere! I gladly paid and went back to my car and when I opened it to my surprise, they had even cleaned and vacuumed the inside. Talk about a staff that takes pride in what they do! Excellent repair shop. When my car got destroyed in hail damage, they gave me the cheapest rates and the best time. They work well with you the customer and believe in your rights, My experience with them was nothing less than good. The only thing i had a slight issue with, and the reason I'm only giving 4 stars is there were some minor delays with the service. This is somewhat understandable though and they do have loaner cars so this would be a non issue for most people. read more

I had a large dent in Passenger door due to someone backing into it. I thought it would be quick and easy repair was just hoping they did good paint work. I ended up needing a new door because the cross member was damaged and unsafe. The job kept taking longer than expected and after their excuses started to be inconsistent I pressured I wanted my car back because I didn't have a rental and I was already almost double the original time line. When I went to pick up the car I looked at it before I went in to pay. Sat in the passenger seat (looked ok) went to open the door and the cord popped off inside the door for the handle. I was trapped in the car and had to exit the driver side door. Told them they said they would fix. Got the car back the second time. Had horrible road noise it sounded like there wasn't any sound deadening in the car very bad. I compared to the driver's door and realized you can see right down the middle of the new door. The new door and a black strip that appeared to be missing (or the door was just subpar). Told the shop they said they would fix. When I dropped the car off I showed the body shop missing black strip. They didn't think it was the issue. Ended up brining the car back two more times trying to address the horrible road noise. They were moving and replacing things they said they didn't touch to try to stop the noise. Still no improvement and concerned they were causing more damage I went to a different shop. The other shop replaced the missing black strip that I personally point out the supreme as the potential issue. Road noise was now at an acceptable level. Not sure if its related to the repair (it is an older car) but when spring time came (rain not snow) I started to get water leaking into the trunk and behind the passenger seat. Cleaned all water drainage for sunroof and problem still persists. They were generally friendly and easy to work with. The paint work exceeded my expectations and the door appeared to be aligned properly. To me it seems like they got the difficult part right but really failed to put the door back together properly. They did install and door actuator for free in my driver's door (undamaged) for my trouble (I supplied the part).They were uncertain if the actuator was the issue but replaced anyway. Issue with keyless entry not working was resolved no issues with driver's door after installation of actuator. They seem like good people but gave my car back with issues that honestly made me want to sell the vehicle. They couldn't fix the issues in house and I had to go to Vinart to fix a simple issue that was pointed out to the body shop. I still have the lingering problem of water in the trunk which I wasn't aware of before these repairs. No proof it was a result of the repair but after the issues I've had I don't feel confident it wasn't a result of the repair or there failed attempts to fix the issue I was having. read more

Just got my car back and, once again, they did a great job. My latest visit involved a broken rear view mirror on my car and, because the car was in motion, it was considered a collision issue with a deductible. Ugh! I went to Supreme ( I am a repeat customer ) and Tina and Diane were able to locate a used replacement for my '15 and painted to match my car perfectly at a fraction of what the dealer or another shop would charge. Last summer someone body slammed my hood and it had to be replaced along with some trim items. They beautifully blended the paint into the front fenders and I was very pleased. I really enjoy dealing with a family-owned business like Supreme and urge you give them a try. Everybody there are more than eager to please. They have been in business for 84 years! read more

I have recently noticed a review here on yelp which referred to others excellent reviews. However, I was not able to locate those "excellent" reviews in which this customer refers to. Why were they removed? I have seen these reviews and this was the sole reason I used Supreme Auto Body when I ran my Mercedes into a building. Not only was the work done right it was done quickly and timely. While I know it can take time to remove all the clips due to being fragile and wiring that comes with a car equipped with sensors all over. Not one clip ended up being damaged and all the sensors worked like new. The paint was flawless and of top quality. Customer service was outstanding and they made me feel like lifetime friends and family. I would highly recommend Supreme Auto Body. read more

Based on all the reviews I read on yelp, I was under the assumption that Supreme Auto Body Works was going to be outstanding in service and reliability. Not really true from my experience. First, the staff were nice at first to get my business, once I accepted their service they became hostile and difficult to talk to. Additionally, it took them a very long time to get the repairs done, and when I came back to pick up my car, not only the quality of the work was not good, but they did not even have fit the bumper correctly, the paint job was blotchy, and a very strong thinner like smell was left inside my vehicle. I complained to them, to which they spend an additional 2 hours of waiting time, for the readjustments to take place, but no luck with the paint job as I came to realize it later on when I got home. In general, I take 3 stars for their lack of quality control and customer service. I still give them two stars for the fact that they were able to provide me with a loner, unfortunately a week later than needed, forcing me to pay for a car rental out of pocket. Note, make sure you have insurance coverage for rental and unlimited time rental. otherwise, you might run into the same problem, where you have to rely on the shop to lend you loaner. read more
