The fact that the chicken sandwich and one of the more niche burger options were so good makes me think that their whole, eclectic range of menu options are pretty good. The staff were extremely friendly and seemed truly proud of the food they were cooking (talking about the ingredients in the chicken marinade, for instance, just a level of involvement above and beyond the type of restaurant), which along with a fun kitschy 50s and 60s theme led to a great overall atmosphere. The prices are also noteworthy; in a town where restaurant prices go pretty high, you get a sitdown quality burger and fries at prices competitive with fast food in a great location two blocks up from the heart of Cannery Row. We were instructed to get our order from the beer garden. Location of the beer garden, in the rear of the overpacked aisles we had to beeline through. The interior of this location spans vastly which is great for customer seating and lessening wait times, yet sucks for those needing to retrieve their pickup. When we finally made it to the rear, our order was ready to go. I signed the receipt and was off. The food itself was prepared exceptionally well, extremely flavorful with high quality ingredients and nothing but compliments from each of us - three in total. Our daughter killed every slice of her pizza minus one, husband devoured his and I had a few slices remaining that I ate for breakfast cold.
