Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. Good customer service. we got the fire burger medium rare, very flavorful and the meat was tender. The coleslaw was bland, it needed salt and pepper or something for more flavor. The sweet potato fries were dry and over cooked. Overall, it's located in such a scenic chill spot that I'm just here for the vibes

We have read a lot of different reviews. Most of them were good. So we stopped to try the place. The service, 10 out of 10, the food was absolutely incredible. 10 out of 10. I would highly suggest too try the place. We found the food, the atmosphere and the service 10 out of 10. We would absolutely come back We had the boneless wings as an appetizer. They were very delicious. I had the Mac and cheese hamburger. Very delicious My significant other had the barbecue burger. I think it was absolutely delicious. One last note Get the orange soda with Vanilla Ice cream. Make sure you mix it very well. It was amazing.

We saw this place a month or so ago & we were hungry for burgers, stopped in at the perfect moment, they weren't busy, we had the best burgers, everything was fresh & delicious, i really want to try a patty melt next time, stop in, lots of choices on their menu, you wont be disappointed

The place was nice, not too busy so we decided to try it out. It was quite empty but the food took a while to be served. My husband ordered the healthy nut bowl and said it had no salt or seasoning. I on the other hand ordered the r.g. Burger but with the falafel patty and it had waaay too much seasoning. I'm a big fan of falafel but their burger seasoning was too strong. The chicken tenders were good.

Just passing by the shopping area when we found this nice burger spot. We were greeted and seated immediately. All our food was good and way better than any fast food you'll ever find. Ohh and their in house made sauce was good

I got the chicken salad and my husband got the Mac and cheese burger. My salad was pretty large, and it tasted fine. It was just something I could have made at home that wouldn't have cost me $19. My husband's burger however was tasteless and not great. We were hoping the seasoned fries would be a life saver but it wasn't. They were nothing special. $42 for a burger and a salad is wild. Our server also did not seem the slightest bit interested in us, he probably interacted with us for a total of 2 minutes our whole stay. Wouldn't come here again.

While heading to Big Sur the crew felt like a big ol hamburger. We stumbled across RG Burgers. The best decision we could have made ! Great location, best service oh and the food was great. I ordered just a hamburger with fries. Loads of choices on food, hard decision on what to get.

Hawaiian falafel burger and side salad

My grandma loves RG Burgers' BLT and chocolate milkshake. I had the opportunity to try it for the first time yesterday (07/19/2024). We got our food to go and the person who took our order was friendly. I got the Hawaiian falafel burger with a side salad and a cookies and cream milkshake. The falafel patty itself was good but they didn't put pineapple on the burger despite the menu stating grilled pineapple is included. Didn't love the side salad as some of the greens didn't seem fresh. The cookies and cream milkshake was amazing and would definitely order it again. However, I'd get a different side next time. I'll also make sure the pineapple is included or try a different kind (or a grilled cheese or grilled veggie sandwich). Maybe I just ordered wrong or it was an off day. I would come back but order something different!

Our waitress Rachel was great and took good care of us. We ordered the French dip (added Swiss, onions, and mushrooms) solid sandwich, though it could've used a touch more salt. The real star though, was the fish and chips. Genuinely some of the best I've ever had. Lightly battered, flaky, perfectly cooked. The vibe lands in that sweet spot of upscale casual without crossing into fine dining, comfortable but elevated. Highly recommend if you're passing through Carmel. We'll definitely be back.

The fish and chips is the ultimate meal. The burger was savory, soft and creamy just he right amount. It perfectly paired with the Talbott pinot noir they recommended. The only comment is make is the amount of French fries that were served with the burger. The plate was a lot larger looking because a sparse amount of fries was served alongside. Maybe add a little more next time just to balance it off. The servers/bartenders knew their stuff. They provided what they could in terms of what was popular and well liked. They said both items we ordered were the most popular. The fish and chips have won best fish and chips 3 years in a row. I would agree with this since I usually am not wowed with this dish. I couldn't resist ordering a dessert. The applied tart with vanilla ice cream was so satisfying. Overall service, food quality and experience was very good. If return over and over again for this same food and experience. If I could give 10 stars I would. Carmel and Brody's is a new destination.

We specifically chose this place because it advertised itself as dog-friendly. When we arrived, the game had already started, and the bar was nearly empty. Since it was open seating, we chose the best available table to watch the match. It was a table for six, and the waitress asked us to move to a smaller table in case a larger group arrived. That seemed reasonable, so we moved without any issue. Another server took our order, and everything was fine throughout the first half of the game. A little later, two other customers came in and sat at the same six-person table we had originally chosen. They were also asked to move for the same reason. Instead of moving, they simply left. At this point, the bar was still almost empty on a Wednesday morning. At halftime, we noticed a completely empty patio with a two-person table that offered an even better view of the game, so we moved there. Unfortunately, our service was then taken over by the original waitress. When she approached our table with the wrong order, she came up abruptly and startled our elderly dog, who barked. Rather than apologizing or correcting the order, she immediately told us that if other guests arrived, we would have to leave. Looking around at the nearly empty restaurant, I replied that it didn't seem like anyone else was coming. Instead of bringing us the correct order, she brought us the bill. The experience left us feeling like hypothetical future customers were valued more than the guests who were actually there enjoying a meal and drinks. It was a disappointing experience, especially at a business that advertises itself as dog-friendly and an official World Cup viewing venue.

A quick pivot to change our lunch plans while on holiday in Carmel, CA: ended up being really great…read morefor our party of three. Founded in Monterey in 2014, Alvarado Street Brewery expanded its production and its restaurants to meet demand. This location in the Carmel Plaza Shopping Center opened in 2018, and they do produce beer here, though their main production and canning happens at their original Monterey and expanded Salinas plants. They also have a new beer garden at the new soccer stadium in Marina. We waited around at the mall until it opened at 11:30. Service was excellent all-around, with us being seated right away, and our server, Ian, providing some top-notch recommendations for both food and beer. I asked him about their flights, which were the standard 5 oz pours, and individually priced. But he mentioned that if I ordered their promotional deal (in this case, their Korean-style loco moco), it would come with a flight of their 4 core beers. He had me sold as soon as he said 'loco moco'. Everything came out on-time, and served at the right temperature as appropriate. 4 beer flight (included with loco moco plate) - flagship Monterey Beer (American Light Lager, brewed at their Salinas plant); Pilsner (German-style Pilsner, also brewed at their Salinas plant); Mai Tai (American IPA, Salinas); Howzit Punch (fruited sour, modeled after Hawaiian POG). All of the beers were really good. with the Howzit being the most liked, not only on principle (we really love Hawaii) but also on taste. Korean-Style Loco Moco ($25) - when told that the white rice on a traditional loco moco was being replaced by kimchi fried rice, my original reaction was 'Dang...why didn't I think of that'. It was a beautiful looking dish, for sure. In terms of taste, just OK. The rice wasn't great, and the hamburger patty was OK (a bit dry). But the over-easy egg added a nice level of richness and the gravy fit the dish. The strips of gim (seaweed sheets) was a great touch and appreciated. Roasted Drunken Half Chicken ($33) - another great looking dish: a cut up half chicken with a ton of crisping done on the skin. It came with two dipping sauces (a bbq and a butter based), along with pickled vegetables on the side, and a jalapeno biscuit. My wife loved the biscuit and didn't need the extra butter. The chicken looked dry though, and she confirmed it. The dark meat was OK, but the white meat was very dry, confirming that one needs to use the bbq sauce and the pickled vegetables to counteract that. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich ($20) - my mother-in-law loved this, and she proved it by eating it all (though it could have something to do with all the walking we did in the morning). I enjoyed the fresh cole slaw (tart with a nice mix of vegetables). And all of us really enjoyed the fries...again proving that food service frozen fries can be marvelous if deep fried (and served) properly. My wife and I both agreed that the Mai Tai PA and Howzit Punch were really good and worth bringing back home so got a 4-pack of each ($16 each). Haven't had a chance to try it at home yet, but will do so when wanting to remember our trip.

If you read my…read moreother reviews, you'll see that I reside in the Central Valley, which is pretty far from Monterey, but not too far. I came for a little vacation from the heat, which is definitely necessary because it gets pretty toasty in the Fresno area. I think it's all the roads and stuff. I wouldn't know, I'm not a scientist. To continue what I was saying, I came to Monterey for a little vacation! Usually I'd go eat at a little spot at a mall called Island Burger, but to my surprise, the place was permanently closed! Can you believe it? I couldn't. Because the Island Burger was closed, I decided to go elsewhere for a burger. I checked online to see what folks were saying about this place, and it seemed like everybody had mostly positive things to say. So I went and ate there! When I walked in I noticed it was one of those spots where you just kinda put in your order and sit down and wait. So that's what I did. I got the spicy burger, but I can't remember the name of it. I also got some onion rings and chicken wings. I'd like to mention that I was with my family so we could share those items. I could theoretically eat all of that myself, but that'd be a bit greedy. The burger was great and it had a good amount of spice. The meat was juicy and nicely seasoned, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The onion rings had a delicious batter, and were fried to perfection. The chicken wings really surprised me! I would go as far as to say that they were on par with, and maybe even better than Wingstop. Overall, the service was great and quick, the food was immaculate, and I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody who is in the area. The bathrooms are nice too. I forgot to mention that. Everything we ordered was delicious. The standout for me was the BBQ oysters--they were absolutely incredible and a must-order. I also loved the gnocchi. It was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and one of my favorite dishes of the meal. The only thing I was curious about was the portion size of the gnocchi. Ours came with only five pieces, but after looking through other guests' photos, I noticed some servings appeared to have 7-10 pieces. I'm not sure if the portions vary by preparation or if the photos were from a different time, but I was curious about the inconsistency. That aside, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a memorable anniversary lunch. I'd happily come back again and would definitely recommend La Bicyclette to anyone visiting Carmel.

Street parking was surprisingly easy with plenty of two-hour parking throughout town. We visited on a weekday and were able to get a table without a reservation, though the wait was about an hour. We started with the stone fruit salad, classic pepperoni pizza, and spaghetti con vongole. The salad was incredibly refreshing. The peaches paired perfectly with the peppery arugula, creating a unique combination that tasted vibrant and fresh. The pepperoni pizza was easily the highlight of the meal. It was one of the best-looking pizzas I've had, with a light, thin crust that stayed soft and airy. It was satisfying without leaving you feeling overly full or weighed down. The spaghetti con vongole was packed with clams, and the sauce leaned creamier than the traditional white wine version. It was a different take, but one I actually enjoyed. The only downside was that a few of the clams had bits of sand, which interrupted an otherwise great dish. Service was a bit inconsistent. I wasn't offered a beverage until I had already finished my salad and finally had to ask. The tables are also very small, so things can feel cramped once all the dishes arrive. Overall, the food easily lives up to the Michelin Guide recognition, especially the pizza. With a few improvements to service and a little more attention to detail with the clams, this would have been an easy five-star experience.
