    Tuna Melt

We had lunch here today and we're so glad we did! Located at Crossroads Carmel, the outside patio was the perfect place for us and our pups. The RG Burger with American cheese is outstanding and served, like all of the sandwiches, with yummy seasoned fries. We also loved the Patty Melt and the Tuna Melt. Of course, we weren't too full to order a chocolate malt and a root beer float which were both delicious. Service is very friendly and very good! We'll be back again and again!

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas. Good customer service. we got the fire burger medium rare, very flavorful and the meat was tender. The coleslaw was bland, it needed salt and pepper or something for more flavor. The sweet potato fries were dry and over cooked. Overall, it's located in such a scenic chill spot that I'm just here for the vibes

We have read a lot of different reviews. Most of them were good. So we stopped to try the place. The service, 10 out of 10, the food was absolutely incredible. 10 out of 10. I would highly suggest too try the place. We found the food, the atmosphere and the service 10 out of 10. We would absolutely come back We had the boneless wings as an appetizer. They were very delicious. I had the Mac and cheese hamburger. Very delicious My significant other had the barbecue burger. I think it was absolutely delicious. One last note Get the orange soda with Vanilla Ice cream. Make sure you mix it very well. It was amazing.

We saw this place a month or so ago & we were hungry for burgers, stopped in at the perfect moment, they weren't busy, we had the best burgers, everything was fresh & delicious, i really want to try a patty melt next time, stop in, lots of choices on their menu, you wont be disappointed

    R.g. Burger with falafel patty

The place was nice, not too busy so we decided to try it out. It was quite empty but the food took a while to be served. My husband ordered the healthy nut bowl and said it had no salt or seasoning. I on the other hand ordered the r.g. Burger but with the falafel patty and it had waaay too much seasoning. I'm a big fan of falafel but their burger seasoning was too strong. The chicken tenders were good.

Just passing by the shopping area when we found this nice burger spot. We were greeted and seated immediately. All our food was good and way better than any fast food you'll ever find. Ohh and their in house made sauce was good

I got the chicken salad and my husband got the Mac and cheese burger. My salad was pretty large, and it tasted fine. It was just something I could have made at home that wouldn't have cost me $19. My husband's burger however was tasteless and not great. We were hoping the seasoned fries would be a life saver but it wasn't. They were nothing special. $42 for a burger and a salad is wild. Our server also did not seem the slightest bit interested in us, he probably interacted with us for a total of 2 minutes our whole stay. Wouldn't come here again.

While heading to Big Sur the crew felt like a big ol hamburger. We stumbled across RG Burgers. The best decision we could have made ! Great location, best service oh and the food was great. I ordered just a hamburger with fries. Loads of choices on food, hard decision on what to get.

Hawaiian falafel burger and side salad

My grandma loves RG Burgers' BLT and chocolate milkshake. I had the opportunity to try it for the first time yesterday (07/19/2024). We got our food to go and the person who took our order was friendly. I got the Hawaiian falafel burger with a side salad and a cookies and cream milkshake. The falafel patty itself was good but they didn't put pineapple on the burger despite the menu stating grilled pineapple is included. Didn't love the side salad as some of the greens didn't seem fresh. The cookies and cream milkshake was amazing and would definitely order it again. However, I'd get a different side next time. I'll also make sure the pineapple is included or try a different kind (or a grilled cheese or grilled veggie sandwich). Maybe I just ordered wrong or it was an off day. I would come back but order something different!

The quality of the meat, bread they bake themselves, and ingredients is high quality. The meat tender and such, so i have no complaints about quality. The portions are small. And not good crispy brown-- that's why I didn't take them back because they might be crispy so I tried them. Of course after eating a couple there were so few left I couldn't return them. They definitely should give two and three times the amount of fries and not cook them so hard. The sandwich size was ok to smaller than expected for the price and the lemonade was also in a smaller than expected cup-- all for $35 bucks!

However---I've eaten pastries in Paris, France and these American made versions seem much less soft. It could be the local water or some other factors. According to Google--there are 4 factors--1. higher fat butter used in France 2. specialized soft flour with no flour additives used in France 3. France has strict baking regulations 4. French people expect hyper fresh artisanal products. This bakery is locally made top quality. There is an outside seating area that's a little shabby and neglected. Very limited indoor seating. Service is ok. But, for someone such as myself, who has travelled around the world, lived overseas as an expatriate, and has formally studied multiple languages in universities in other countries, it's kind of ridiculous for a French girl behind the bakery counter to repress a laugh--that she obviously wanted me to see--at my pronunciation of one of their products. Give me a break! She clearly understood what I said since she retrieved it for me.

He explained how he prepares the gluten free dough separate, bakes it separate and plates it separate. Based on Raul's genuine concern and knowledge, my hubby decided to try it. Our family had various different sandwiches. (I had the very delicious Vegetariano.) We all agreed they were THE BEST SANDWICHES WE'VE EVER HAD...EVER...ANYWHERE...(mike drop). The freshly baked bread was incredible, all of the ingredients were fresh, even the side salad was amazing!!! The service was straight out of the old days, when people actually had pride in their work and genuinely cared about how you were treated in their establishment. We wish every restaurant that offers gluten free options could have someone as friendly, kind and knowledgeable as Raul. The ambiance was very cute/quaint inside and out. It was a beautiful sunny day so we sat outside to enjoy the sunshine and listen to the sea lions. Raul came out to check on us and we could not thank him enough for his amazing food and hospitality. When we said how much we enjoyed the gluten free bread, he told us he sold the flour (from Italy) inside. My adult son immediately bought some for us to bake gluten-free bread at home. We started with the Caprese salad, which was the perfect size for sharing between two people. To drink, I ordered a glass of Merlot while my partner enjoyed a sangria. The pours were generous and definitely appreciated! For our entrées, we ordered the shrimp Thai curry and the Gyro platter, both of which were flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The first thing they brought out was bread with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette and, no joke, that ended up being my favorite bite of the meal. I was still thinking about the bread while eating everything else, which probably says more than I intended. The clam chowder was good and comforting, but if you've had chowder in Monterey, you know the bar is pretty high. The calamari was the bigger disappointment. It was chewy instead of tender and didn't have that light, crispy crunch that makes calamari worth ordering in the first place. By the time we finished the chowder and calamari we were full, but we still looked through the menu to see if anything tempted us. Honestly, nothing really stood out. The pasta prices felt steep, and there wasn't a dish that made us say, "Okay, we have to come back and try that." The only thing that really took away from the experience was how close the tables were. I could hear the people next to us whispering and accidentally became invested in a conversation I was never invited to. Overall, it's a cute place with great service and a nice ambiance that's worth checking out if you're visiting Carmel. I don't regret going, but I also don't see myself going back. On the bright side, at least the bread gave me something to remember. Someone in that kitchen deserves a raise for that basket alone.
