We had lunch here today and we're so glad we did! Located at Crossroads Carmel, the outside patio was the perfect place for us and our pups. The RG Burger with American cheese is outstanding and served, like all of the sandwiches, with yummy seasoned fries. We also loved the Patty Melt and the Tuna Melt. Of course, we weren't too full to order a chocolate malt and a root beer float which were both delicious. Service is very friendly and very good! We'll be back again and again! read more

Will never eat here again, and if you're reading this do me a favor and look at the beef patty and the quality of any of the meat. Just because we're in Carmel doesn't mean the restaurant is serving good quality food and can be cutting on costs for profit. The medium rare consistency was manufactured as well. Entirely concerned about what I ate... it was not a real beef burger at all. LOOK AT THE "beef patty" WHEN YOU ORDER IT IF YOU DO!!!!!!! I hope I am the only one who had this experience and others can state they had real beef and if you know a real beef burger of any style and preparation, you will appreciate this review. The end corner of my patty was also cold too after I bit into the last piece... Again I was hungry, and it was too late when that piece went down. Stomach was still distended for HOURS after. The place was nice, not too busy so we decided to try it out. It was quite empty but the food took a while to be served. My husband ordered the healthy nut bowl and said it had no salt or seasoning. I on the other hand ordered the r.g. Burger but with the falafel patty and it had waaay too much seasoning. I'm a big fan of falafel but their burger seasoning was too strong. I got the chicken salad and my husband got the Mac and cheese burger. My salad was pretty large, and it tasted fine. It was just something I could have made at home that wouldn't have cost me $19. My husband's burger however was tasteless and not great. We were hoping the seasoned fries would be a life saver but it wasn't. They were nothing special. $42 for a burger and a salad is wild. Our server also did not seem the slightest bit interested in us, he probably interacted with us for a total of 2 minutes our whole stay. Wouldn't come here again. read more

My grandma loves RG Burgers' BLT and chocolate milkshake. I had the opportunity to try it for the first time yesterday (07/19/2024). We got our food to go and the person who took our order was friendly. I got the Hawaiian falafel burger with a side salad and a cookies and cream milkshake. The falafel patty itself was good but they didn't put pineapple on the burger despite the menu stating grilled pineapple is included. Didn't love the side salad as some of the greens didn't seem fresh. The cookies and cream milkshake was amazing and would definitely order it again. However, I'd get a different side next time. I'll also make sure the pineapple is included or try a different kind (or a grilled cheese or grilled veggie sandwich). Maybe I just ordered wrong or it was an off day. My wife and I found are selfs walking around aimlessly while we waiting for our reservation and a different restaurant. We walked by RG and glanced at the menu board outside. The burger discritpions made our mouth water so we decided to skip our reservation for a fancy dinner and instead grab a burger and a shake. The service was really good as well as the burgers and shake. I was well impressed until it came to receiving our bill. I included a 20% tip and it came up to damn near $75 for 2 burgers, an extra fry, a coke and a chocolate shake. Wow that will for sure keep the locals away. They say burgers are cooked medium unless asked otherwise but somehow my burger was well done and dryer than the mohave desert. Id say the only good part of the meal was the fries, crispy but still pretty mid. For the price i kinda expected more. More of a RM burger (real mid) instead of RG burger. R G Burgers has a good variety of selections on their menu. I wanted a BIG SALAD, my family wanted Burgers. It's car week so we did not want to have to travel far to have dinner. Glad RG Burger was close by. Our order was done in 10 mins on a Thursday evening at 6pm. We called and ordered for pick up. The BIG SALAD was big and delicious. Not too much dressing. The dressing was mixed in the salad. I ordered a Caesar salad with no chicken . I will order a bit more dressing on the side next time. It can be tricky on how much salad dressing to put on a Caesar salad. This one had the right amount of dressing, but I would've liked a little bit more.. I do not like a Caesar salad that is drowning in dressing so this was a good amount without being soggy. There was a good amount of croutons also included in the salad every bite of lettuce. I had a crouton with it. Lots of Parmesan shredded on the top. A nice slice of garlic bread was included lightly toasted and buttery. The bacon cheddar burger was delicious. Cooked just right. Three pieces of bacon were on the burger. A nice slice of cheddar cheese not the crab slice single cheese, a good piece of cheddar cheese. The fries were crispy and flavorful. The California burger did not disappoint. We added onion rings to our order. The batter was very light and made a crispy onion ring. However, the onion was very thin. By that I mean, I could barely taste the onion in the onion ring. I like the onion a little bit thicker. The California burger came with a good amount of avocado. The garlic fries were delicious and plentiful with plenty of garlic Parmesan and parsley. Next visit will try the shakes read more

Came here to get a quick bite after visiting Point Lobos and its safe to say that the food was reliable and filling. The burgers are great! Definitely enjoyed the smash patty, but the sides were not a strength of this restaurant. Get the fries, don't get the mac n cheese - unless you like the taste of kraft . The service was a bit slow but honestly thats okay in a town with such a mellow vibe!
