It smells so good but I grew up poor and didn't have much spending money so I wondered for a long time... did it taste as good as it smelled. When it finally got to taste it out didn't disappoint. Since then I've tried 15-20 different patties. I like a crispy pastry... some can be tender and chewy or hard and crunchy... flaky and crispy is just right. Next the filing can't be dry and pasty... but audio can't be wet and ruins the crispness. And the flavor needs a little heat but not so much that you are suffering while eating. And it must have ground beef. Not just paste. Michideans were recommended to me a couple times by friend and recently i saw it featured on YouTube so i decided to give our a try. Wow. These have become my favorite patty. Perfect pastry, and filling with really beef chuncks. Love the flavor and just enough heat. These aren't cheap compared to lesser patties but they taste the best. If the price were just a little more than the others rudeness this would be and easy 5 star but it's good percentage more. But again you get what you pay for.

This department store sells everything from small kitchen appliances to clothing to beauty products to home decor. They are similar to One's with availability of some unique mugs, plates, and thermos type products. They also sell air fryers, rice cookers, pots and pans, and personal care appliances. On my first visit here I was able to purchase Japanese waterproof eyeliner, a plastic bench scraper for cutting dough, and a nail clipper. Prices are reasonable with all of these products in the price range of $1 to $17. Cash only for purchases is less than $30.

I put it in tinfoil when I got home and crisped it up some more in the oven. We bought the last one. It's quite delicious and a really good deal given a single portion of fish and chips is easily $15 alone and this is like 2-3 portions of fried fish. Though it can get a bit greasy. Give it a try.

Not too big but has what you want I've gotten Henkels sauce and fry pans here, a meat tenderizer and utensils, and all have been very fairly priced. The displays make sense, staff are extremely helpful and its never too crowded. Worthy of mention: The Henkels stuff was taken from a set. They do this in addition to selling the sets as it makes it easier for customers to get the lice they want without having to buy an entire set. Henkels has given the all clear on this, and the prices are better because of it. They also carry their own line of silicone utensils which are very affordable ($4 I think) as well as the brand name stuff. Worth the trip!

We were able to get a bowl big enough for Pho, and this place has a fair amount of dinnerware, but not as vast as expected. They do have a nice selection of different kitchen/small household appliances with reasonable prices. They have dinnerware items of different themes, cutting boards, tons of chopsticks, and so much more. They have a large warehouse at the back for businesses/restaurants I suppose, but this store is definitely open to the public. MC Mart is well known for selling inexpensive Asian name brands rice cookers and thermo water…read moreboilers. I heard about MC Mart from an old Chinese couple who heard about it from another in a senior activities center. So yeah, it is a word of mouth place. MC Mart is located on Passmore, east of Kennedy, where there is absolutely no reason for a retail store to exist. The store is no frills. The sign says it is a wholesaler, which it is, but it also sells to walk-in retail customers. Upon entrance, it is a mess of junks that attract no one. The goodies are in the big warehouse in the back. There you shop for all the well known Japanese, Korean and Chinese name brands rice cookers and hot water thermo boiler. The list prices are artificial, as there is a perpetual 20% discount. Last I shopped a few years ago, the prices were either the same or 5% cheap than the prices anywhere in Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hills areas. Other than electronics, there are arrays of kitchenware, flatware, and dinnerware. They supply Asian restaurants, so there are shelves of woks, special uses pots, pans and containers, cutting boards, streamers, kitchen scissors, you name it. I don't see name brands for these, but I do see accessories and equipment for Chinese cooking that are seldom sold in grocery stores and other general merchandise stores. There are household cleaning and laundry supplies as well. The mess I can deal with, and there is a logic behind the maze. I am however disappointed that the selection of dinnerware is not good. Where do I go uptown to find nice dinnerware for Chinese food? Maybe this is why I have to travel to Tap Phong still. This is no Tap Phong, but it might be as good as it gets in North Toronto for retail customers.

There was some good sales going on as well. I got the sparkling VLT zero sugar. One of the only grocery stores that have it. and You obviously have to stop by the pastry section!
