Well my experience with them was not good. My new dishwasher…read morewas supposed to be delivered between 8 and 10 am this morning. I paid for delivery and haul away of old dishwasher. My old dishwasher was still working, but was making a lot of noise and was slowly dying. I removed my old dishwasher last night and had it sitting in my kitchen ready to be hauled away. At 8:15 am they called me and told me they accidentally sold my dishwasher to another customer, and now the don't have anymore. They apologized and said they might be able to deliver different in stock model soon if I wanted to change my order. I asked if soon, meant today. The sales person said probably not. We drove to their store, and looked at the other comparable dishwashers, but they all had features my wife did not like. So we asked how long to get another one of same model we had ordered. They said 1.5 to 2 weeks. I said, that since I didnt want to go 2 weeks without a dishwasher, I would have to re-install my old dying dishwasher and then remove it again in 2 weeks. What a PITA. I then asked for free delivery, install and haul away, since their F'up was costing a lot time and effort. The salesperson went to see if management would okay this request. Management did not. The best they would do was knock about $100 off their fees. I then canceled the order, and ordered from HD. With delivery and haul away included, it was about $60 less than Stover. Plus I could get it in 3 days. So, we got the model we wanted for less money and a much sooner delivery. So I'm not impressed with Stover's customer service, or really doing anything helpful after such a monumental F'up. I was specifically going with a local business because I thought they would have better customer service. I am very disappointed.

This is by far the worst company ever! I have never had this…read moremuch trouble financing anything But these guys charged me $2,300! For a broken washer that was malfunctioning straight off the bat! Oh and the dryer light burned out and we only had it 6 months. They brought me a loaner washer, and that one was failing as well. They refused to bring me a washer that was functioning properly unless I made a payment. Forced me to pay for a broken washer! Then. 2 months later, They brought me the working washer! Yay right?! Nope. This washer was full of GERMAN COCKROACHES. MIND YOU. I have never seen one roach in my apartment. We have annual inspections that help us watch out of bugs like that. Our apartment is clean! They forced me to pay for that ROACH washer before they brought me one which took 3 weeks and that's 3 weeks with no washer for my family of 4 Then we lost our job and they took our washers after only 2 months of missing a payment. They refused to leave them and told us we had to pay the entire remaining balance before they bring them back to us! Mind you that will be another 2 weeks before we even get a chance to wash our laundry now! This company is a rip off and I have every bit of what I need to file a legal lawsuit with the better business bureau. Y'all need to get your shit together. So selfish for a buck that you don't even care about your customers who actually need some of these products. I will never do business with them again! I learned my lesson! I'm fed up. Wasted thousands on broken washers! Let's not forget that the so called "Store clerks" hang up on you when they get frustrated rather then helping to fix the problem. Worst customer service ever. We will NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH THIS COMPANY. DO NOT FINANCE WITH THIS COMPANY! I spoke the truth now they can tell you the lies! This company only cares about profit!

A few years later, we converted a laundry room into a bathroom so returned to Kelly's to shop for a stackable washer and dryer. The salesman asked about the brand of our washer and dryer, and sold us the very inexpensive part needed to stack the appliances we had at home. Money saved! Recently, in search of double wall ovens, we yet again returned to Kelly's. This time we met Todd Edgar. We had done a *lot* of research and were pretty sure of what we wanted. Todd really knows his stuff! He answered our questions, provided knowledgeable insight, and researched our concerns. I especially appreciated his ability to communicate information clearly. And his patience is quite commendable. If you're looking for an appliance, go see Todd!

Then several months later the sprayer blade broke again, after it was out of warranty. We figured out that due to the dishwasher not being level that the sprayer blade was getting caught up in the pool of water caused by the unbalanced unit. We contacted Kelly's to see if they at least had a leveling bolt we could get / purchase and were told that the person who installed the unit would contact us, which never happened. Ultimately we got a leveling bolt for free from a local appliance repair store (thank you) and fixed the dishwasher ourselves, but we had to buy two sprayer blades and deal with a leaking /overflowing dishwasher due to their bad installation job.

I've been shopping for over 40 years, and I can honestly say I've never experienced customer…read moreservice quite like I did at the Albany, Oregon Lowe's. I had purchased a lock, only to discover when I opened it that it had been previously used and the keys were missing. I completed the customer survey, gave my honest feedback, and mentioned that I would be returning to the store since I had driven an hour and a half. When I arrived, the first associate I spoke with, Daisy, immediately asked if I had spoken with her manager because they had already seen my survey and were expecting me. She was kind and made me feel welcomed. Assistant Manager Robert sincerely apologized and asked me to pick out another lock while they took care of everything. Before I even made it down the aisle, I heard someone calling, " Ma'am!" I turned around, and it was Ben, the Store Manager. He introduced himself, personally apologized, and told me that my experience was unacceptable. What impressed me most was not the replacement lock--it was that he treated me like a person. Ben had read my survey, informed his staff to watch for my arrival, and personally wanted to apologize. We had a genuine conversation, not just a business transaction. He acknowledged the inconvenience of my hour-and-a-half drive back to the store, walked with me to customer service, and made sure everything was handled. I received a full refund for the original lock, and Ben only charged me one dollar for the new lock I selected. While that gesture was incredibly generous, this experience was never about the money. It was about the kindness, empathy, respect, and genuine human connection he showed me. In a world where it is easy to complain when things go wrong, it is just as important to recognize people who go above and beyond to make things right. Thank you, Daisy, Robert, and especially Ben, for reminding me what true customer service looks like. Lowe's is fortunate to have leaders and employees like you representing the company. I hope this recognition reaches the district and corporate level because this team deserves to be celebrated.
