We have the Ultimate wash for both of our rigs, so spending $60 a month to get a bad wash. When first opened it was great! But for last few monthsbug spots don't come off and you drive out with purple soap dripping off your mirrors, windows and tailgate! We have spoken to manager and he doesn't seem to care or get it! He did offer a towel to my husband. We emailed customer service from the Website but got no response so thought we would try this, I normally don't write bad reviews. I think the money we spend each month is going to go some where else after we cancel our membership! Hmmm seems maybe owners/managers don't really care what is happening. 2 days no response and still no response from our email sent to website email, presume it went to corporate! I waited 30 minutes only to be told that I couldn't go through due to my Thule car topper. There was nothing that indicated this at all. In fact, I read the sign that said "not responsible for damage to rooftop carriers". That's fine I expect that and have never been turned away from any car wash for my Thule. Always fold your mirrors in. They shouldn't even ask, just do it. My car is completely stock. Went in with a mirror cover and came out with out one. Filed a claim with a "supervisor " and was told I would hear something in 24-48 hours. No update, so I called. Spoke with a "manager" who admitted he didn't know how to find anything and after going back and forth for what seemed like forever I was told the claim was sent to the wrong place but should be completed by Tuesday. When I asked for a number to follow up they told me I couldn't have one nor could I have any proof anything was being done. Here I am 15 days later and no communication at all. Called the "customer service number" I was finally able to get and it's an invalid number! I call the Bend location directly and was told the manager I spoke to no longer worked there, shocker. I have absolutely zero trust in this place and will never be back! Now I'm told by this new "manager" that he'll call his area supervisor and call me back. He hung up on me before I could even give him my information. I was in an embarrassed situation because the system tried charging me an extra $10 when no one told me about it. Horrible experience after talking to a manager she didn't even have the courtesy to let me go through since I didn't know about not using for more than 31 washes in a month, I feel they need to provide better training to employees to inform customers everything and not surprises. Now I contacted my credit card to request a reimbursement because it's a ripoff. Bought a 10 wash card have used it twice now 2months apart with the same results. Need to train the kids!!! They just go through the motions don't scrub the windshield or grill just run the brush over it. Didn't clean the mirrors before folding them in. This last time I believe I may have lost a center cap when I asked them to look the young lady said they couldn't stop the wash to look even though I watched the two cars go through and come out. I live out in the middle of nowhere and my car gets dirty just driving into town. I tried out surf thru because it's the closest car wash to my house. The staff is super friendly and they give you an air freshener, dash wipes AND trash bags before you go through! The flower petal one is the best! The manager moses got me to buy the membership and I'm in love!! I always stop by on my way to work and I'm never disappointed. I work at a coffee shop and see dogs drool all over the side of my customers cars that come through and I try to get them to buy the membership at surf thru too lol! I have used this location multiple times giving them a chance to correct their issues and they have shown time and time again that they just do not care. My truck which I keep clean will go thru their wash and the kids doing the prep before you go in are more interested in the BS between them then doing their job. My truck will be sent thru and there will still be major bugs on the front of it. I will go tell the manager the issue and he will walk me back through it and tell the kids they need to do a better job. The kids will just laugh and do the same worthless job. So I do it again and I make the Manager look at the front of my truck and he agrees. Again the same dog and pony show so I am finally giving my review. POOR IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH! After getting stuck in the car wash for 10 minutes the manager had to drive down to open the door. Employees kept asking us to roll down our window as water is dropping in the car and as we are in the middle of the extra cost stuff they restarted a few times so we didn't even get what we paid for. I've given this car wash several chances, the last being today. I have a smaller SUV so it's nothing special to wash. I've recognized that they turn up the speed on how fast vehicles go thru (my opinion). I rarely use the vacuum and just do it at home. Today as with other experiences was the same. There were dirty areas on both sides of my vehicle, half the back window was not washed, bugs on the grill. I had to use a detail spray and another hour at home cleaning the window, cleaning off the bugs. This is just not acceptable for 14.00. I don't recommend this car wash, try another one. I had a membership with this location. 2 months prior to my cancellation I didn't use the service. Then I went in to cancel my service since no one answers the phone. I filled out a piece of paper and the girl couldn't give me a confirmation, "I give it to my supervisor and they do the stuff on the computer. I can't give a receipt". If you like bad customer service go here. However, don't pay for more than the $13 wash. The $20 with tire wash extra doesn't make car any cleaner. I had to send car through the wash a second time because the entire trunk area and a part along the passenger fender was barely touched and left thick dirt. Second time through got most of it, but still left dirt around the license plate and around the manufacturer symbols on the trunk. Also, because the blower is not timed long enough, left water spots everywhere. Asked for a $7 discount after not getting car clean. Second "supervisor" i talked to lied and said they used brushes on the trunk on the redo. If you go, DON'T spend more than $13 on wash and don't think you'll get any help WHEN problems arise. Patiently spent 40 minutes trying to get proper customer service and can fully hand wash car during that time. Will never be back!!! read more

Very disappointed. I've been going to Surf Thru's for over 10 years with no real problems and then I use this one in Bend and and have all kinds of issues. For one, they do not pre-brush your car no matter how dirty it is, and so you have missed spots all over and your rims are just as filthy. Then I noticed scratches in the clear-coat of my new car on each side of the hood! I thought it was an anomaly and that maybe someone went thru before me and got mud or sand in the brushes, but when it happened on a second visit I couldn't believe it. Car was filthy after their wash process. No one did wheels or hard to get places with brushes as most places will do. There was dirt left all over the car and I mean everywhere. Will not return. Attendants just watched as I rolled onto transporter and did not use brushes as usual. Some of the brushes were not operating. Management needs a shake up. read more

We tried the new location in Bend at 20265 Meyer Drive, just south of Fred Meyer. Our normal car wash on 3rd st was closed yesterday so we used the new Surf Thru Express. We didn't have the time to inspect the car after we exited the car wash. After we arrived home, a drive of 15 miles, it was obvious the washing was poor. Lots of missed spots on the hood and then the entire rear of the car was still covered with dirt and grime. Today we drove back to Bend and went to get either e refund of the $13 or a better wash job. We were told we would not get a refund nor another wash because we should have not left the site yesterday. We should have gone back to the office where maybe we could get another wash. We were told that refunds are not allowed. So, we crossed 3rd st to our usual car wash, paid $10 and got a perfectly clean car. We'll never use a Surf Thru Express agin. First time I went, it was great! Wash cleaned up car well and the free vacuuming was awesome! Went back today, did the ultimate wash, and we got stopped in the car wash which we though was just because there was another car in there, but we get out and my car was not clean. I wiped my fingers all of the front and back to see if it was stained dirt and no, it was loose, just a lousy cleaning. I went and told a worker so they let me go through again. I dont know what was different, we didnt stop this time so maybe that's what messed it up... but when we got out my car was very clean. I just bought a brand new 2020 kia soul. I decided it would be a good idea to get their monthly deal because I figured I would wash it often as to keep it in the best shape possible. There are microscratches now over the entire car. My hood had just been repainted a week ago and after going through the wash, it is covered in scratches. I tried to file a claim and was denied within 2 hours. I will not be going here again and if you have a nice car and care about it, you'd be better off to not go here either. Aside from the scratches, they do a pretty horrible wash job. Just look at the back of your vehicle when you come out. I have had my car now for about 1 month and it is covered in scratches.As per the reply-I've gone through your was 3 times now. I didnt notice the webbing until the second to last time through. I thought it was because they didn't spray the debri off well enough. I went through 1 more time and It wasn't until the sun came out that I noticed webbing on the entire car and I have not been back through since. This is, without a doubt, the best car wash I have ever gone through! I mean that. They have affordable deals for there washes, incentives to be a frequent customer, and great amenities. They offer two vacuum hoses for every car (roughly 15 cars), a floor mat washing machine, vending machine for car care products, and (my personal favorite) compressed air hose for every car to clean small cracks. The only negative thing that has happened to me here is when I paid for a $14 car wash and received an $8 wash. Went through a second time to try again and it was slightly better. The two kids "scrubbing" my car as it started in were a bit of a joke. I saw them scrub the car in front of me and they were lazy! I was excited when they first opened because it is a nice big facility, and I really expected them to do a great job... Yes, the facility is very nice but that's as far as it goes. The first time I went in they did a pretty good job on my pickup but that was the only time. I've gone back several times and the quality of the wash was poor at best. The last two times the wheels were just as dirty as when I went in and there were many other areas that were still dirty... I know everyone can have a bad day but this seems to be the norm. Customers shouldn't have to go through two or three times to get their vehicle somewhat clean, and we shouldn't have to point out the dirty areas to the workers beforehand. They do this daily and they can see areas that they know won't easily come clean, especially without thorough additional brushing before it goes through. Unless I hear that substantial changes have been made, I won't waste my time or money going there again and that's unfortunate because I like the facility... read more

We loved this car wash when it first opened. We even bought the monthly ultimate car wash plan. However, the last 4 weeks we have gone through all the brushes on the left side and a couple on the right don't work at all. The car is only getting sprayed and it looks terrible when we exit. Half the time they give us the lowest wash too, so we have to go back around. Only about half the vacuums work and the ones that do work have a hard time sucking up grass. We canceled our plan today and no one seemed to care that we were unhappy with the wash. We won't be back until they do some maintenance on this brand new car wash! read more
