Overall I like their monthly plan memberships you buy one wash and then you get the month free it's a monthly plan. You have the option to go to any surf through Express Car Wash location in the area. The line sometimes could be long but they run through pretty smooth and quickly with the staff. For the past three days I've stopped by the Surf Thru Car Wash on Nees Avenue in Fresno, and I have to say it has been one of the slowest car wash experiences I've ever had. The line has consistently taken 20 minutes or more just to get through, completely defeating the purpose of a "quick" car wash. When I called to ask about the delays, I was told it was due to a mechanical problem. However, when I arrived, an employee at the register explained they were using a "new process." Whatever the reason may be, the result is the same long lines and excessive wait times. This is because I've grown accustomed to the Graphene membership that I have will not clean this areas even in the slightest. (And today, it also only completed my tier 4 wash as an "Epic", which is tier 2, just above Express.) Therefore I am well accustomed to what my Lightning looked like beforehand. $22 wash with water spots & dust still all over our van. Had high hopes to clean my wife's van here but even with their most expensive wash it was still meh. Maybe this is just how washes here in Fresno are? We moved here temporarily earlier this year from Arizona. All the drive thru car washes in Arizona offer a clean guarantee where if you still have bug spots, sao, dust or water spots you can run it through again till your happy, not the case here. Also in AZ all the washes offer clean microfiber towels to use to wipe up any water before it dries. The vacuum's here were super weak (I tried 3 different stales.) They also don't offer vacuums with a crevice tool attachment to clean areas between seats or under kids seats or boosters. I guess I'll keep searching for a better car wash in the area. read more

I have been going here for quite some time but I will not go back. It is now $11.00 for the cheapest wash. I realize everything is more expensive now so that isn't my biggest disappointment. They used to have 2 people at the entrance to the car wash who would squirt stuff into your car. Now there is one person who barely puts any. It was a waste. Just stop doing it altogether. Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We took our new 2025 Yukon through and came out the other side with grease smeared all over it. We were told to go back through and made it WORSE. Hard to see out of the windows of the car. Grease smeared all over the rest of the car. The manager on shift refused to come out to see the damages and we left. I called to talk to someone. JR Answered and immediately put me on hold for an HOUR. Then the line disconnects. I tried calling back and the line was disconnected. I finally got through several hours later only to be told we will fill out an incident report. I had to take my car to an independent detail shop who spent 7 hours removing this grease. 7 hours. Then the manager calls me back 4 days later to tell me "your claim has been denied because it could have been wiped off". I asked if he was joking. "Could have been wiped off" after they sent us through the tunnel twice and it made it worse. I asked to speak to his manager, or the owner. No one was available. Shocker. I was guided to the website to fill out a form online. I asked to speak with someone, and to no surprise - no call back. No help. Left on hold for an hour. Denied claim. Bad business. read more

I took my rental car to get her washed I've had Beauty for 2 weeks. We've been on the road quite a bit. It was rainy in Gilroy. I just didn't like how she was looking outside I just wanted a simple wash for $10. There was a long line but it moved very quickly. I felt like my Mercedes Benz was clean until I stopped. The trunk gate area didn't get clean well enough. Next time I'll choose the ultimate was for $13. They scrub the outside of your automobile with the brush. When you drive in there is only one person on the left spraying the vehicle when it's set up to have a person on both sides. Bring your towels because your vehicle will be still covered in water! Pull out and go to vacuum, go ahead and skip that! They don't service the vacuum system and there is no suction. They could do so much better of a job. Same thing happened today that has happened several times in the last couple of months. The lone employee at the beginning of the wash gave half the windshield a squirt. No brushing, & no one on the other side like your loyal customers like me are accustomed to. And the big rolling brush that scrubs the front hood & top of the car wasn't working today (again). Not everyone has the time or patience to go back thru the line to get a re-wash. Please, put the 2nd person back on the line. Have unlimited wash for two vehicles but the quality at this location continues to go downhill. Very busy and one person went to do something else loving one guy to do vehicles. Didn't prescribe even though car had many bugs on it - the equipment didn't clean front window or front bumper at all. I had to go through the wash a second time and it only cleaned the bumper about 50% but at least two people were pre-scrubbing so the window was about 90% clean from bug marks. Not sure this place is worth the money anymore since the quality continues to go down The photos are of the car AFTER it went through wash. Angela who was the cashier was friendly, informative, patient, and welcoming. I would have bought a membership based off her customer service skills but alas I'm trying to save money. As for the car wash it was like any other place. I came in with a lot of bird poop and the $11 wash did take 95% of it off. Unfortunately I had to wipe the rest off myself. I wish the guys washing at the entrance noticed it more and power hosed those spots down more. However they worked hard cleaning up when there were no cars which I appreciated. Hopefully the workers get treated fairly and nicely. That will do wonders at a mundane job like a car wash, it'll make them smile more and be more energetic and detailed. Thanks! read more

Ive had a membership here for over 3 years and it's a good value if you are near the location to take your car for a wash a few times a month. You can ask to go through twice if your car is especially dirty. There are usually two people when you first pull up to the actual wash and they hit your windows and the front of your vehicle. My kids love going to the car wash, we usually go a few times a week but there are times I've only gone once a month. I like knowing I can go whenever I want. After the wash you can go or you can vaccum your car. I usually bring windex and tire shine and spend a few minutes cleaning out the French fries, water bottles and two year old receipts while I'm there. It always makes me feel good when I leave. My only recommendation is that they replace the vacuums. They are falling apart and not sucking up as well. You have to know which stalls have better hoses. Otherwise they are always fully staffed and it's a pleasant experience to be able to bypass the line with your membership sticker :-) read more

Went to Car Wash on Nees Ave yesterday morning. Regular was has gone up from approximately $6:00 to $10:00. Before there were 2 people ( 1 on each side with soap brush cleaning soiled areas. I was told since January 1st they have discontinued the brushing. So they are charging more money and less service ‍. On top of the that only one person spraying soap suds onto my car and guiding vehicle onto track without pointing what vehicle is was addressing causing both vehicle following his instruction at the same time. Cars became to close to each other and caused worker to do emergency shot off. This is a work hazard along with potential damage to customers Vehicles. I WONT BE GOING BACK -5 Stars. Very rude workers. I did find one girl to be nice though. She was very welcoming. The other workers on the other hand were cursing at me at how I didn't know what to do since it was my first time in a car wash. This little man with a bandage on his eyebrow gave me dirty look as well. It made me very uncomfortable. At the end of it my car was not much different than before I went in. Decent wash overall but the employees seem miserable and understaffed. Usually when tipping additionally, the scrubbers will really pre scrub the car, but this didn't happen and was just the regular half ass scrub. I do have a membership and only come here for one reason... it's a cheaper alternative to a maintenance wash. Meaning, if you haven't washed your Car in ages, don't come here. Take it in to get hand washed first and then come back here weekly for your maintenance wash as this place can't do much of the deep cleaning it needs for those tougher washes. The weekly washes than suffice the cost of the membership and only reason I still won't cancel. Now if they keep increasing the prices I may consider it as it's $20 less than getting a hand wash (membership) which this is not even close to. read more

Horrible car wash. I had a membership for a long time and this year they went cheap with their washing. Their soap now leaves scum that can't wash off without detailing. My nephew detailed my car for me on Father's Day and it looked brand new. I tried the car wash one last time as a just in case, and it left soap scum I couldn't wash off at home even 20 minutes later. Now I have to take my car for a detail again. read more

Not many employees care at this location. The roller that does the hood and top of car has been set incorrectly for weeks and I show them how half my hood doesn't get touched in the car wash. Tried explaining it today and all they did was get pissed. Cancelled my membership and they could care less. Will be cancelling my other membership as well. Not asking for the world or expecting it at 20 bucks but I don't think it's too much to ask to wash the entire car. Been going to any surf thru for years. They now only have 1 person working before you get into the tunnel and the don't brush your car with brushes. They shoot it with water and that's it. I had to go through twice bcuz the guy only sprayed the window. I asked him the second time to brush that's when he said they don't brush anymore. He sprayed the window with a pressure sprayer which helped but didn't completely get the bird crap off and now they are going to raise prices!? For worse service? Gonna stay with Rainbow bcuz they have 2 guys working the tunnel and are always open! read more

My wife and I have had a membership for a couple of years . Quick way to get a car wash until just recently they came up with a new policy in which your mirrors are required to be folded in before you go to the wash . This becomes a burden being that it causes more harmed than good. While folded down my mirrors tend to fling back open while running through the wash , having me to readjust my mirrors each time I get a car wash. I've never had an issue with my mirrors in the past, but this policy is making it very inconvenient. If I don't want to fold my mirrors in, There is an option to sign a waiver releasing them of any liability if anything happens to my mirrors.But per another stupid policy, I would only get a half wash since they cannot turn on the spin brushes even though I've signed a liability waiver releasing them of any damages .it makes no sense!!! .. . I'm having to deal with all of this even after my membership fees went up. It's totally not worth it. we have canceled our membership and we will not return here. My suggestion go to Jacks car wash up the street $42 a month for two cars and 100% hand wash and hand dry without stupid policies, or rude workers. read more
