I have been a customer like so many since day 1 and I always loved coming here because service was good. However ever since I noticed a few of the long time employees are no longer around, the new staff at your locations are very rude and unpleasant. I'm totally disappointed at how the talk to us as customers and unless we are their friends or are eye candy for the males that work there we get no service. The young ladies who are in the cashier section give attitude and dismiss you. Therefore for this and many other reasons I will terminating my account with Surf Thru. I hope this helps. Never ever using this place again ! My husband took my car through the express for the first time at this place and their dryers somehow blew the grill off of my car, it won't properly attach anymore and they are refusing to pay the damages, RIDICULOUS! Mike, who I believe is the manager, is claiming he has evidence that my car was in a car accident and that is the reason my grill came off. That is total BS because my car accident was back in 2013 and in those 4 year I have never had an incident like this happen, even when I took it through other express car washes. I'm so mad and I will do whatever it takes to get my car fixed. Also when approached about the situation Briana was very sarcastic. I'm sure if this was their vehicle they would be acting different. Sign out front said to text for a free car wash... So I did and it was truly that easy! Really appreciated the friendly service, the clean facilities, the real people with brushes who give the first scrub on your windshield. Also received a convenient air freshener (I recommend Black Diamond), a trash bag, and a dashboard wipe. Vacuums at the end are easy to use and effective. Purchased the Ultimate Wash for $13 and my car is still filthy. The guys with the brushes barely touched the car. Why even have them there?! There are still bugs on my front bumper and side mirrors and the back of my car doesn't look touched. The $7 gas station car wash does a better job. Total waste of $! read more

Just opened. You drive in and talk to an attendant. The attendant gives you a plastic bag for trash and a wipe for your dash. You have 3 levels of car wash to choose from. The least expensive is 7 bucks, the most expensive is 13 bucks. I choose the 7 buck wash. You continue around where two guys guide you in. They brush clean your front windshield. Much like Costco car wash you pass through an array of rolling brushes. It's done in a matter of minutes. As you exit, you can drive around and use the free vacuum cleaners on the north side. It's a nice place, friendly staff. My only complaint, I noticed the windshield was not clean, it was rather streaky. I don't know why that happened. It does not happen at Costco. It looked like the soap dried too early or something is wrong with the soap formulation. But overall it's a nice place to get a wash. read more

No question this place is amazing!!! For the price of amazing machine car wash, you can also vacuum your car. Not only that, they offer a high pressure air sprayer for use like professional expensive car washes do for getting rid of dust in the vents and dirt and grime a vacuum can't reach. No pressure in letting you clean tires or detail your car, although be courteous as lots of people are always here. For $10 bucks I can't complain and am so happy there is a place for people to detail their cars to their own. If you buy a 20 monthly pass, then you can get unlined car washes. I have been through this place about 10 times. It started off well. However, I'm looking for a new place because having a membership means nothing in the lines anymore. Non members have repeatedly cut in long lines and sat in the member lane. They are treated as members, not re directed to the back of the line. The actual car wash system has shut off and had to be re started repeatedly during one pass. Today, the blowers in the wash smell like mildew. It is a horrible smell that requires the driver to air out the vehicle for several minutes. Lastly, while using vacuums, some work better than others, and the attachments fall off the hoses regularly. In summary, used to be good, now it's a mess, inconsistent at best. Do not recommend this car wash. Went there on a Saturday and it was packed. They were packing cars in like sardines into the wash. One right after the other with very little space between and not directing very well. While in the middle of the wash my vehicle fell off the track and hit the side wall causing a dent. The wash stopped and I was told that I'd have to fill out a claim and they'd review the video and call me to determine damages. Waited three days with no call and so I ended up calling them. Was on hold for 20min and then told by the manager Mike they weren't going to cover any damages. From the video they saw my vehicle fall off the tracks, they could see my hands not turning the steering wheel but said maybe my knees turned the steering wheel to veer over the track. Really??? This car wash has the worst service. At least once a week their machines aren't working or the the conveyor belt or rollers to guide the car have issues. Causing an inconvenience to get your car washed. They advertise specific hours and are not operational because of so many mechanical problems. BE AWARE OF THEIR LOSEY service. Also their staff has attitudes and well the owner could careless about any concerns customers bring to his attention. Find another place to give business to this one sucks!!!! read more

I've been going here for a few months now! I bought the monthly Ultimate pass because you can use the vacuum whenever you want without waiting in line and can wash your car however many times a month. It's worth it, I wash my car twice a month and since I have a husky I use the vacuums fairly often. If there a lot of people you won't get a good suction but if there are a few people the vacuums work great. I never get told I have a time limit on their use, unlike other places. Only thing I would say is a few times my car was left with a few dirt spots so I went again to get it cleaned but the machine must have missed the hood of my car. read more

First time trying this car wash. I have a Mazda CX-9 black. It's a smaller SUV. I picked the Epic for 10 bucks. After car wash? I still had lots of dirt, the blower doesn't do a good job of blowing off the water. I still had to spend a good time drying the rest of the water. No Armor -All with the Epic, I was expecting the buffer wheel to come down at 10 bucks.. nothing. It was basically the 7 dollar express car wash. I don't know what the difference would be from epic and the cheaper one. I go to the Waterdrops Express Car Wash behind Arco on Rose and Channel Island. There for 10 bucks... I get the buffer wheel which buffs the car, and lasts cleaner longer, Armor-All on the tires, an air freshener, car wipe, and trash bag, and the blower does a good job of getting most of the water off and for only 10 bucks. I get more bang for my buck and a better cleaning than this place. At 10 bucks I should atleast get some Armor-All on my wheels. I'll stick to my old Car wash. This wash was like any gas station cheap wash. Don't expect anything, unless you spend the 13 bucks for the ultimate, but the blowers are still weak, and leave a lot of water. This place is poorly managed. When I went to get my car washed here, none of the vacuum machines worked. I literally went to 5 different vacuums. When I told the person working there, they said they were aware that the vacuums were broken. If it's a known issue, why are they still taking customers? My car was still dirty and when I went to ask for my money back the supervisor (Roberto) refused to give me a refund. Not to mention, he was extremely rude. Take your money elsewhere! read more

So, first time here. I paid for the Ulltimate wash. Went thru it and at the end it was just the express. Nothing great about it, but it didn't do what I paid for. I went around told the young lady that I had paid for the Ultimate and got the express. She said its all automated and sometines the conputer has a glitch. She had me go thru again, this time t turns out that I had the Epic. WTH.. tried calling but there is no answer ever. For a drive in car wash I was really impressed! There are people working there who are really friendly and helpful! Fantastic Car Wash fairly new but living in Oxnard all my life I've finally found the go to place. Everyone's super friendly and genuine always smiling and making the trip an eventful one. I usually get the ultimate wash which does the ultimate job and I get a Free Dash wipe Plus a Free Car freshener!! They have different smells but the creamy vanilla and pacific breeze smell amazing!!! Surf Thru Should be Your Only Go Too! The membership plan is awesome too. Very bad management and staff. It rained the next day after i got my car washed took it back next day they said we cant honor to wash car again policy which it states on the receipt. Not only that the day i got it washed i paid for premium wash but i got basic wash i found out when car was drying basic light was on instead of premium wash. I told myself I would never go through a drive through car wash again (see my other review), but I couldn't help but try this one since it is brand new. I appreciate that there are people who actually scrub your car before you go through, that you can have unlimited car washes for the month with a membership (which is priced very reasonably), and the car wash itself appears to be well maintained. Of course, this can all change since this place is brand new, but for now I will be back. read more

Update: Just noticed my recent receipt has a Rain Guarantee for 4 days after purchase. I don't know if they added this after they read my review lol but that is pretty awesome. Update 2: I just went onto their website to confirm that they have different hours in the Fall/Winter than they do in the Spring/Summer. Before I checked their site I recently tried to go after 7pm two separate times only to find them closed. Not happy at all because I drive all the way from Thousand Oaks to get a car wash here. I kind of understand why they close early during the colder season but I still think it's a bummer. Went for out first time and we paid $14 for the ultimate wash.. and when we went thru the wash at the end it showed us what wash we got and they gave us the express wash which is $7. Went here with my husband in his new truck. His antenna was broken off inside the car wash. I have been here before in my own car & they always ask if antenna is fine passing thru car wash and mark your window, however this time they didn't ask. We didn't even think about it until it was too late! We asked to speak to the manager whose name was RAUL and we waited about 20 minutes but he never came out. We ended up leaving because our kids started getting restless & were very disappointed that the manager Raul wouldn't at least come out and talk to us. Nobody offered a refund. Thanks for responding Todd. Think about what you are saying. Most new cars have these antennas. So no one with a new car should use this car wash or risk damage. I travel with my car frequently and usually have it washed upon arrival. Of all the car washes I have used, Surf Thru is the only one that has ever asked me to sign a disclaimer. It is a car wash and we shouldn't need a lawyer to have our car washed. read more
