And Brennan at the valet/bellman was excellent. He didn't just bring up our (tons of) luggage, he brought with him, enthusiasm, caring, kindness and fun. He was so sweet to my grandbabies and talked to each of them. He took a picture of us and really tried to get the little ones to smile, while saying their names. The next day he was very friendly and just said hi. The following day he saw them and gave them a little gift box and still remembered their names!! He made our stay so enjoyable!

Rooms are not cleaned daily by housekeeping, so don't expect that. The pool is small, but the hot tub is big. We tried to order drinks and food at the pool, but that wasn't available despite having order tags on all the chairs at the pool. They do have a small bar next to the pool, but I didn't venture over there. Towels are at the pool and there is an attendant there who takes your room number when you pick them up. But, they constantly leave and that's a problem as they take your room number when you pick them up! So, I'm hoping I didn't get charged for any towels I returned. On a positive note, the hotel has direct beach access and that was the highlight of our weekend getaway! You can walk directly from the hotel to the sand and you can rent beach at the hotel which is nice. The rest of the hotel, outside of our room was really nice.

This is something I wish hotels would do. The "excellent" rating stated is untrue. Our room was like a dingy motel room. The furniture was all scuffed, paint was peeling, the table top finish was poorly done. We asked for a room away from the construction, instead every morning we woke up to constant beeping from a tractor backing up. Since it is a residential complex. There was also the early noise of people starting their noisy cars to go to work. Overall it was the worst stay of our week-long journey.

I reserved a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath apartment that comfortably accommodated three of us, and it could easily host a family of six thanks to its spacious layout and a convenient pullout couch downstairs. The amenities exceeded my expectations--shower pressure was excellent, making quick and refreshing showers easy especially if you're a big group. The condo includes utilities for four people, with plenty of towels provided (Thanks Tina). While there's no air conditioning, the ocean breeze just a block away kept the unit comfortably cool throughout our stay. A nice bonus was having a hot tub in each unit, perfect for relaxing evenings. Parking was also straightforward, with one dedicated spot included. A heads-up for warmer months: if you're sensitive to heat, keep in mind that summer temperatures can get quite hot, and the unit might feel warm without A/C. Additionally, because of the communal setup, it can get quite loud--sounds from neighboring units are audible--so don't forget your earplugs if you value quiet. Off-season, this spot is ideal for friends' getaways or a quick romantic escape. Overall, a charming and practical choice that offers great value and a fantastic location near the ocean.

Negatives: One of the beds had a dirty duvet covering it (see photo) also used a towel and there was mascara markings all over it -definitely wasn't washed! I'm a woman and I know the difference between a mascara stain Vs.fresh mascara on an unwashed towel. On another towel there was a curly black hair. I do not have black hair. So I was honestly grossed out. Thankfully, the third towel was clean. It was almost 12:30 am when I took my shower, and I really didn't want to have to try to get new clean towels from the front desk. Also the hotel layout is a bit hard to figure out. I paid $189 + tax. I'll try another hotel next time in town.

The room was comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi , & breakfast--the waffles and coffee were great each morning. Other than that, the family that works at and also lives in the hotel came across as pretty unprofessional. I also had a bit of confusion about a situation where I thought the breakfast area was closed, but their teenage daughter was cooking hot meals during that time. When I asked about it, the lady was very rude in her response, which made the situation feel uncomfortable. Overall I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars, but because of the rude interaction I had, I probably wouldn't stay again since it might feel a bit awkward. Especially since the family with Indian heritage work and live there.

The checkout person check my ID and of course credit card and tell me what room I was in. We were selected to the apartments which are part of theMidway Estates. It is confusing to find them but we finally found them. For instants, if you look at the outside of the apartments you would not think they were occupied. The grass is tall and needs to be cut and it looks pretty barren with no cars there but it was it. The apartment was pretty much OK and nice at the same time. But the phone in the master bedroom did not work to call the hotel for anything. Some of the reading lights in the smaller kids room with the two beds did not work. Also the shower knob did not match called versus hot. For instants you had So we sat there waited for 20 minutes on read to see if it got hot and I never did so I switched it over.to turn it too cold to get hot hot water. You simply had to find a happy medium which was like at a 45° angle between cold and cold to get warm or hot water for a shower. Also for a round up for a house I can occupy for people when I got towels for two people.

The room was very spacious, although it could use a bit more natural light. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was how clean everything was. The room had no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, professional, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, I had a good stay. The only downside is that many things in the room feel outdated, including the air conditioner, carpet, and bathroom door. Some renovations and updates to at least a portion of the rooms would make a noticeable difference. Still, considering the price and location, this motel offers good value for money.

The other only dining location that was better than this one was a hotel we stayed at in Dubai. My wife had requested a 2nd floor unit because we wanted a kitchenette but initially they put us in a ground level unit. The gentleman at the check in desk was more than happy to give us a 2nd floor unit with a kitchenette since it was there mistake. The room was very spacious and the kitchenette was awesome. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy as described in other reviews but we had no issues at all. This establishment is near restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores so you can pretty much get anything you need. I was also very impressed with the Ice Machine, you have to actually use your key card in the machine to get Ice. There is a CVS across the street and please be advised there are railroad tracks about 100 yards from the motel. Traffic could be a slight issue because actual freight trains do come through the area. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!
