My mom and I have been doing our nails here since I was a teenager back in high school and I'm 23…read morenow! We would always enjoy our time here and our nails. I have over 100 pictures of designs and colors I've done with both Tom and lieu and I've always loved them. We always get treated like family by both Tom and lieu and till this day we keep in touch via social media. They watched me grow up from a teenager to young adult to even getting married! I haven't been able to go back as I live so far away from Hialeah but I hope to one day visit back and do my nails just like old times. I have nothing but good things and love for these two and for their business which they manage amazingly. Tom is know for his jokes and laughs and lieu is known for her amazing skills in designs. I felt like my nails were in very bad shape from the last salon I was going to, but Lia and the other women did not judge me. They really helped me bring life back to my nails! Of course espresso after working a night shift at the hospital was the right choice. The salon just felt like women having fun together! Loved it! Plus, everything was so clean! They took the time to carefully remove all the excess product from the old salon off my nails. They explained everything and the difference between products to me. All the artists are versed in the latest trends such as chrome, Cateye, and can do complex designs. There's also a hairstylist on site along with an eyebrow/lash technician. I came in on Thursday for a dip manicure and regular pedicure. My appointment was for 5:15 and I got a text that my nail tech was running 15 min late because she was backed up. I go there at 5:30 and the front desk tells me that my nail tech will be done in 10 min. I was already a little annoyed. I didn't get seated till 6:30!!!!!! I work from 6am-4pm, I am exhausted by the end of the day. For them to have someone waiting an hour and 15 min after their scheduled appointment is very disrespectful. There policy states that after 10-15 min your services might not be guaranteed......well how about how long my nail tech takes. If they're only taking appointments and no walk-ins then I expect to be attended at the time I reserved. The service of this place is so great, the staff is nice and the owner is very sweet and front desk is very attentive.... but it's such a shame that they have no concept of time or care about how valuable someone's time is. . This needs to be an issue that gets fixed ASAP

I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.
