After a few years of not getting my nails done, I realized it was time to pamper myself once more. I found Trendi Nailz & Spa on Yelp, and I'm so glad I did! I asked for a manicure along with a full set of almond shaped acrylic nails. I didn't catch the name of the person who was doing my nails, but he was fantastic! He put a lot of care into each detail of my nails as he did them. Throughout the process he also made sure to ask if I liked them before continuing on! When you first walk in they greet you and ask if you could use hand sanitizer before sitting down. Each booth also has a clear shield in front of it with a hole underneath for your hands. Each cuticle cuttle, nail clipper, and file came in its own sterile wrap. I really love this place & those who work there. I will definitely be back! read more

I came in for a pedicure, asked for a thorough cleaning of my feet with no nail polish. I was looking forward to slow, calm, relaxing foot therapy. The lady started running the water super cold so I asked her to make it warmer. She then made is very hot so I asked her cool it down. She rushed through the pedicure, and FIFTEEN minutes as of the time that I sat down, she said "ok you're done". WOW! I was shocked. I walked up to the register and paid the $35 and handed her a $5 cash tip (I so regret that!) and before walking out I paused and said to her: "you know, that was a fifteen minute pedicure, I am very disappointed". And she responded: "oh well you didn't want color". Yeah, I didn't want color but you're not charging me any less for not putting on color, so if it would have taken you an additional ten minutes to put on color then you should have used that time to give me a foot massage. I am paying the price of full service but you cut the length of service? People go for pedicures to relax and be a little pampered, and not rushed in and out like they are at a car wash. I will not go back to "Trendi Nailz & Spa". Really, "spa", what a joke! read more

Started going to Trendi recently and have been very happy with the results every time. I usually get dip but all their colors seem to come in dip, no chip and regular polish which is nice if you want to match your toes to hands. Had a no chip done on Monday and it was chipping by Friday. I'm not surprised though because the finished product was not great. The tech did a poor job of cleaning up any polish that wasn't on the nail. I felt like I could have done a better job myself at home. She probably could have done a better job, or I could have said something to her, but she was arguing with someone on the phone on and off for most of the appointment. I had a regular manicure and pedicure done and was happy with both. My only negative is I didn't love the decor/atmosphere of this salon. It's definitely more casual looking. My manicure on Wednesday had six fingers chipped or broken by Thursday. Elizabeth was unfamiliar with using the other method to remove no chip without foils. She stated no chip was ruining my nails yet I've been getting no chip for months without problems. Multiple finger nail beds have been drilled down to the pink and have broken down to the skin. Nails drilled down to the pink are sensitive to the touch. I will not be back. read more

I scheduled my first visit with them and arrived 30 mins early. They were nice enough to fit me right in. The technician was very pleasant and nice. They have a clean and sterile equipment. My only issue was that the technician removed my feet cuticles excessively to the point that I bled on at least 4 toes. I will be returning, but will express to go easy on my cuticles. read more

I've been getting overlays for a while now, and I've experienced varying levels of service from the salons that I've visited. I made an appointment for a Thursday night a couple days before with no problem. The salon isn't super fancy looking inside, but is definitely clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of my nail tech, but she started me almost immediately after I came in. I got a fill in w/ no chip polish over it, and she completed it in record time. I believe she finished in around 35 minutes, and she did a great job on my nails. My service cost $35, and was well worth it. My nail tech, and the other employees were all so welcoming towards me. After finding this place in Yelp, seeing the rating and reading reviews, they really did meet the 5 star rating. There was great service even over the phone prior to my arrival. I was assisted as soon as I entered, they started my pedicure bath and helped me find the perfect colors. I also brought a picture from Pinterest of a nail design I wanted and they assured they could do it. The pedicure was amazing from the warm bath to the orange scrub and hot stone massage, I was put at ease. Plus the tools were clean and the technician used gloves. After my polish was on the nail tech directed me to a chair for my no chip manicure. I hit my foot on the side of the table and he came and fixed the nail right away with no problem. My manicure was amazing. The details were great. Kim completed my manicure and she was so sweet. She took the time to talk to me and get to know me. She also used terms of endearment to talk to not only me but the other clients that entered, giving a more personal feel. I felt welcome and wanted and cared for the entire time I was there. The attention to detail was amazing and my nails came out great. I'm so impressed and this place is so close to my house this is going to become my go to nail salon. Not at all what I expected for a nail salon. In their defense, I think I was the only one out of my group of 10+ who had a negative experience. I did not want to cause a scene right then and there seeing as I was with an entire bridal party. It hasn't even been a week and my nails look awful. The no chip color is coming off, streaky. Tech didn't paint the edges (tips/underside of nail). She was extremely rough while filing and buffing. Almost every single cuticle was bleeding. Now my cuticles look awful. I wish I had a before picture to show you how great my nails looked before walking into this place. I also wish all salons used brand new nail files and buffers with each new customer. I know the one used on me was not new. It's scary to know I was bleeding all over the nail file used on me and that will probably just be reused again... Overall, would not return. read more

I had a idea if what I wanted and they new exactly what to do. Darlene did my toes and was very accommodating. The shop doesn't have that usual salon smell which is a plus to me. I took my daughter here for a little mom-daughter bonding, and the staff was great. My daughter had a new full set with a premium pedicure (which included a hot stone massage, scrub, paraffin wax - really lovely), and I did a no chip manicure with the premium pedicure. The pedicure was average. I was visiting from out of town and saw this place had great stars so decided to walk in for a dip manicure and hot stone pedicure. Halfway through my pedicure I was so displeased that I decided to skip the manicure all together. The tech was boring and disinterested in being there. She never asked how the water was or adjusted it once I asked her for it to be hot. The water was cold the hot stones weren't hot. The worst part is, she never even let me soak my feet or relax. She started cleaning my feet almost immediately as I sat down and the entire thing felt rushed. I was one of 2 customers in the salon at this time so there is no way they were busy and she could justify rushing. The other customer in there received a better version of the same pedicure despite having arrived after me hers took longer and her technician seemed more interested in providing a quality service. I wish I had a better experience so that I could've gotten my nails done too since they seem to have a wide variety of dip colors. read more

I ended up editing my original post of a 2 star rating. In looking at my fingers today, the cuticles were not just nicked, a literal chunk of my skin was taken out. A day later the cuts are still bleeding off and on and are very painful. You can see where the blood mixed with the light colored paint on my nail- can't be hygienic. There's absolutely no reason to cut and gouge cuticles that much and be that rough. The tech also dropped tools on the ground and still used it. If i get an infection from this I'll be reporting it read more
