Came back a few months later with more family members. We took a Sunrail trip from DeLand down to Kissimmee and walked the few blocks to Susana's. It was lunch time, and it was packed with people from the courthouse picking up lunch. Even so, they brought our lunch reasonably quickly. I ordered a cold brew, but my server asked if i had ever had one, and said i probably wouldn't like it and should order something else. I'm not sure why he did that, but even if that were true, I'm not used to being told I don't really want what I think I do. Two people in our party ordered a dish with eggs, and we both agreed they were not seasoned at all, but it wasn't so bad, because there was salt and pepper on the table, and the garlic sauce served on the side was absolutely delicious. I was able to substitute the meat on the Breakfast Arepa with avocado at no extra charge; however, it was Florida avocado, not a regular one that I was expecting, so the taste was a little strange. onMy son said he enjoyed his chicken pesto sandwich. My mocha latte that I ordered instead of my original cold brew was delicious.

Beautiful quaint cafe with the nicest wait staff and manager. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch today and highly recommend this amazing restaurant for excellent high quality food and coffee! We really enjoyed our food and coffee's here! The breakfast arepa was flavorful and absolutely packed. It can easily be shared between 2 people. Both of our hot coffees were very good on a cold day. All of the workers were very nice and gave us some good suggestions. We will definitely be returning to try more.

WOW!! What a gem we found on our way back home to Pinellas County. The cafe is located on a quaint downtown street and is a renovated old house. The space is small it has both inside and outside seating. The service was impeccable along with the food! The lattes came out with beautiful art work, and the portions for the breakfast tacos was insane. We could have shared the tacos and been full. Definitely do not pass this place up - we would visit again if in the area!

Wow! A spot in Kissimmee with an amazing menu, tucked away in a cute cozy home style cafe. I love it here. A friend recommended I'd come. Ruben our server was awesome! The tropical smoothie was amazing and the chicken cesar salad was perfection. Whatever kind of wrap they use is delicious. The empanadas are Venezuelan style so they had a hint of sweetness, which is incredible. We ordered the beef ones. My husband had a traditional eggs, bacon, and French toast and he loved it just as much too. I can't wait to come by with my laptop and a sweater, order a coffee, and get some work done. My go-to spot!!!!!!!!

We found this on TripAdvisor when we were looking for a good brunch or breakfast spot. Our first impression was positive because we saw a lot of people eating at the outside tables. There were several Father's Day signs posted which gave us a glimpse to the owner's hospitality. We had a short wait for an inside table. The venue is essentially the first floor of a house converted into a restaurant. Our table was in one of the rooms. The atmosphere was very lively. There was a group of 5 or 6 girlfriends seated at a large table in our room and they were having a good time together. We ordered the Chicken Tender & Belgian Waffle, Breakfast Arepa with Sausage, and Tequenos with Guava and Cheese. The Chicken Tenders were nicely flavored. The Belgian Waffle was actually a quarter of a waffle which was not what was expected. Usually when a restaurant indicates a Belgian Waffle it means the entire waffle. The portion of the waffle was disappointing especially considering the cost of the dish. The Breakfast Arepa was excellent. The seasoning that was used in the scrambled eggs and sausage was delicious. I slathered some of their homemade Garlic Sauce onto the eggs and heightened the flavor even more. The Garlic Sauce is evidently something that people love enough to buy on its own since we saw signs for purchasing it. The tequenos were good although we did not really taste the cheese. I was expecting the cheese flavor to stand out more. There was plenty of parking because there is street parking, a parking lot across the street, and a parking lot next door to the restaurant. Our server, Ruben, was attentive. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

DRINK review FINALLY, a cafe that doesn't serve over-sweetened, unrecognizable matcha!! I asked if they use pre-sweetened matcha powder, and they DO NOT!! Hallelujah. Not a pre-sweetened powder, not a matcha syrup, real matcha powder. I ordered an iced matcha latte with pistachio milk and vanilla. Tbh, the pistachio milk didn't add any discernible nutty flavor (which I appreciate) and I'd say the consistency was similar to super smooth oat milk. They used enough matcha powder to where it's a nice vibrant green, and you can really taste it, even with the vanilla sweetener. If you like very sugary drinks, I suggest you ask for extra sweetener than normal, because they used a lighter hand than most coffee shop chains (which I greatly appreciate!!!) FOOD review I had their chicken empanada (not pictured because I was truly starving, sorry!) No complaints. The same quality I expect from my favorite local Latino bakeries. Fresh, PIPING hot, and came with a delicious garlic sauce. I think it's the kind that typically comes with an arepa! The chicken was well seasoned and the outside of the empanada was nice and crispy. The service was great! All the employees were super friendly, and were enthusiastic to explain drinks and answer my random little questions.

This was $27. Guava & Tequeños with Guava and Cheese (5 units), Empanda de Carne, Cortado w/Oat Milk.

This was $27. BOH was making fun of my name not knowing that I understand/am Hispanic apparently. This place is super popular on social media but I will not be returning. I've worked at several coffee shops and even managed a mom & pop shop like this one, will not be returning. Ambiance might be cute but not worth it to me. Also, I understand that restaurants warm food up in the microwave, but after paying $27, I don't want to see my food nuked up in the front of the bar before it being handed to me.

The best Chai!!!!!! The most authentic tasting chai I've had in Florida. The chicken Cesar salad was delicious too. Lovely service and truly a little gem of a place.

First time here and let me tell you, this is a hole in the wall type of cafe. The croissant was very soft and flaky. The avocado toast was probably the best I've had thus far. A very good amount of avocado spread on it too. It was the best breakfast place in Kissimmee. All the servers were super friendly as well!

I was working in Kissimmee and my Coworker told me about this great little Restaurant, it's located in an area that looks like a residential neighborhood, the restaurant looks like a house. The decor is so unique, quaint and has the feel of a small European diner. I ordered the French Toast, Eggs and Bacon, also ordered a Cappuccino. Everything was delicious especially the Coffee. The service was great, can't wait to go back.

We found this joint on the Google. It has mostly good reviews so we said YOLO! It located within a converted house, the ladies said it was "cure". It has very nice interior decor. We were greeted warmly by several of the staff and were seated immediately. I ordered an iced coffee and Boss Lady a hot latte. Both were delicious! We were served my Marical, who was cheerful and attentive. The ladies had arepas. One breakfast and one chicken (which is basically a chicken salad sandwich), which junior Boss Lady though was salty; I found it just right. If we're ever in Kissimmee again, we're eating here!

I've been so exited to try this new cafe tucked into the streets of downtown Kissimmee! We arrived today around 11:30 am and we're greeted to a very pretty interior and friendly staff. We felt welcomed and comfortable:) We decided to sit outside in the porch which had its own charm. Our server Jose was so friendly and kind! I loved that he seemed to genuinely love his job. I had an issue with my arepa order that another employee dismissed but Jose was quick to step in, apologize and correct. He was great-- 5+ star service!! We tried their signature coffee which was different and tasty. We also ordered arepas, croissant breakfast sandwich & avocado smoothie. The smoothie could've been sweeter but it was refreshing and creamy so we liked it! The rest of the food was veryy tasty I'd order everything again. My only hesitation in visiting again are the prices. They're quite steep in my opinion for what you get. So although the food tastes good I'm not quite convinced it's worth the price. However, I'd visit again because of Jose's great service :)! Side note: There's a discrepancy on the menu that leads a customer to think that cheese in included in their full size arepas... it's not. They charge you extra for it. Which is fine, the menu just needs to make that clear. read more

By far, a cute little place, has a nice home feel on the inside. The food is OK today I came in to get an Americano and a bacon egg and cheese to go. The staff is friendly however the prices are crazy. I was charged 4.99 for an Americano plus an additional two dollars for a splash of almond milk. I literally paid seven dollars for a regular call. This is more than Starbucks by far. And then my bacon egg and cheese very good however $15 for a bacon egg and cheese is absurd. My bill was $25 for a regular coffee and a bacon egg and cheese to go. We're talking about a breakfast sandwich for $15. And a seven dollar coffee? Again the food is OK. The staff was very friendly, and the inside of the place was really cute. However, those prices are more than New York City. read more

Finally took advantage of a day off to visit this cute little spot! This spot is tucked away in downtown next to the courthouse and offers a good amount of yummy food and drinks! Inside this place is so nice with a great amount of natural lighting; you can sit either inside or outside. The greeter at the front was super friendly and told us we could sit where we wanted and she would bring our menus or we could order first and then sit down. I ordered some breakfast tacos and the avocado smoothie! The avocado smoothie was delicious, I decided on no whipped cream, but it was still a nice natural sweet and just refreshing overall. The breakfast tacos were delicious too; they were definitely loaded and I only was able to eat 2 before I gave up, but I loved the presentation of the plate. I had to take a pastry to go as I was told they were made fresh and honestly looked so yummy. I took a zucchini bread to go and it was everything I expected and more. Will definitely be back as this place had great service and yummy food. read more

This definitely has to be one of those hole in the wall that everybody misses ! As you can see , reviews are on the lower end because not everyone knows about this spot. Very nice cafe that seems to have been transformed from a house to a cute little cafe/restaurant. Location is close to the Osceola Courthouse and next to the Parking garage. Parking is of course nearby but also on the street or garage during normal business hours(Mon-Fri 7am-6pm). We arrived at this spot on July 4th so it was fairly empty and streets were cleared. After entering we were greeted and recommended to so many things in such a small amount of time. They were very informative , friendly , and got us seated within seconds. Really loved what they had to offer , but this time I took a different approach for a beverage. I ordered the ice coffee and too my surprise it was amazing. Paired that up with a breakfast combo which comes with some eggs, waffle or French toast, and bacon. Delicious and went so well with the drink. Also got a nice little view of outside which was great since it was a beautiful , yet hot day. Really loved this spot and I feel more yelpers should come check them out. Not only do they sell great meals and beverages, but they are also a bakery shop with fresh homemade goods ! read more

Susana's Cafe is an individual property close to the Osceola County courthouse. While I was visiting for brunch, a group of city employees, college students, a retired couple, and friends also were dining in. The cafe is popular with various groups due to friendly and attentive service, delicious food and great selection for menu items. The seating choices including outdoor tables, patio, sunroom, and dining room with cute displays along with their products to go. I really enjoy the experience and planning to return soon! read more

We were looking for a quaint restaurant in Kissimmee and found Susana's Cafe. We walked in and I could tell it was a historic house converted into a restaurant. The Ambiance was warm and inviting. This place is really cute! Nice staff, great vibe both inside and outside, tasty food & drinks. This is one of my favorite cafes in the area as they are locally owned, not a chain, and put care into their establishment, service, and food. I love how they decorated for the holiday season. My quinoa bowl was delicious and so was my hibiscus tea. My dad and husband enjoyed their coffees too! Definitely recommend and will be back. read more

Stopped by this cafe today with my husband. Couldn't recommend it more! It's so cute and homey inside. I love the holiday decorations. It was quite chilly today, so I enjoyed a hot chocolate. The presentation was beautiful. This was my first time getting hot chocolate art. Husband loved his smoothie and said that it tasted fresh/delicious. The burgers really stood out. Decided to work outside of my home today and visited this charming cafe in dt Kissimmee. This place looks like it used to be an old home whoever they renovated this so cutely. I decided to sit in the back of what use to be a sunroom. Immediately on entry I was greeting by the staff. They gave me time to review the menu. I ordered tea and a cesear salad for breakfast lol. Safe to say everything on the menu is served all day. The tea was devine and salad was great. The chicken was made to order. I will be back often. read more

I've been here several times and the food and service are always consistently great. Today I got the chicken pesto sandwich with a side of chips and a sweet tea. My husband got the Cuban sandwich with chips. My sandwich was probably one of the most delicious things I've ever had. My husband really liked his sandwich as well. The service is always excellent. I even ordered two of the chicken empanadas to go because I can't resist getting them whenever I come here. I've had their coffee in the past and it is also very good. I cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Walked in and it was QUIET. What a gift this morning. Lovely light shining in through the windows and the friendliest staff. I ordered a "drip" coffee and was surprised to see this beautiful pottery arrive at my table with a pour over. So lovely. I ordered the quinoa salad and added chicken and avocado. It came quickly and was good, but the price is a bit much for a simple quinoa salad. It was tasty, but nothing to write home about. (This is the reason for 4 stars...a bit overpriced for me) There are a lot of nice looking pastries in a case up front. I'm unsure if they make them here or not. Me & my husband love to always go for brunch when we have the time off so this time we tried Susana's! This spot was great, when it came to everything, we fell in love. The staff was AMAZING as soon as we walked in we were greeted and assisted. The gentleman working the front was very nice & so good with my little one. Food came out pretty quickly, we loved the food! My husband is a huge critic and said the restaurant was 5 stars all around. This cafe is close to home , so we are super excited for more visits. If you are looking for a new place to have some breakfast or lunch would definitely recommend. The restaurant was so cute inside felt like home! They also have a nice seating area outside. read more

The sandwich I got was the Susana's sandwich. It has turkey ham and salami with pickles and mustard. Pretty much a Cuban sandwich but with turkey. The flavors were wonderful and they use sweet bread for this sandwich so it mixed very well. The fries were made nice and fresh, I couldn't complain about the fries. This plate was very good. The presentation was nice and the place is very cute it gives a at welcoming home vibe. The staff and even the customers here are very friendly. Will come again!! read more

We went for brunch on Sunday. Food was good and served quickly. We were waited on by the manager and he kept saying 'we're very busy so it may take awhile'. Wasn't exceptionally busy and there were open tables, so not sure what that was about. Ordered iced tea to drink. After finishing our food, we asked if we could have a refill on our iced tea. He said we could, asked if we'd like them to go and again proclaimed they were busy so it may take a few minutes. After paying the check without paying close attention, my husband asked me how much the bill was as he'd heard our waiter state a number that seemed too high, but thought he'd misheard it. Nope. They had charged us for 4 iced teas @ $4.98 each. When he inquired on this with another employee as we were leaving, he was told they didn't provide free refills. We weren't told this when we ordered and it doesn't state that on their menu. That aside, $20 for 4 small teas plus gratuity ($24) borders on robbery. Needless to say, we won't go back and will share our bad experience with others. Very disappointing! read more

I actually had my directions set to a cafe around the corner but while looking for parking I found this one and decided to try it out instead because it looked cute & I was not disappointed!!! The server,Karen, was very friendly and helped me decide what to order. I asked about sandwiches but she suggested something I've never had before.. it was called Arepas and I got the chicken avocado one. Soooo good. It was served with a super yummy house made garlic sauce too. I also just got an unsweetened iced tea and whatever they did to it (I think they added lime) was amazing. Highly recommend trying it! 10/10 read more

There's nothing I can say bad about this place. The ambiance is amazing, the food is amazing, the coffee is amazing, it's a well rounded independent cafe which can be hard to find. Let's start with the positive, the service was good! I ordered a smoothie and a slice of carrot cake. The carrot cake was ordinary, I was hoping it would have been more moist and less cream cheese. But that is a personal preference. The smoothie was unfortunately the worst smoothie I've had. Very bland tasting no pop of flavor whatsoever and for $10 it should have been fantastic. I ordered the Mixed Berries Crepes with Nutella ($11), and I was going to order a Strawberry Boba for $5, but instead my total was nearing $25 dollars?? The pricing did not match the menu. The cash register didn't seem very friendly. When I noticed my crepe read "Banana/Strawberry" instead of Mixed Berry. I clarified I was getting the correct order. She told me, "Yes, yes." (Spoil alert: I did not get the mixed berries but instead a Strawberry and Banana Crepe...) I paid, and then took the little marker flag with a number they give you so the waitresses can find the correct table to deliver the orders to. My coworker and I waited in the back for our orders. Although we ordered back-to-back, the orders were fulfilled at different intervals. When my order finally arrived, the waitress was looking for the right table to deliver it to. I raised my hand and said it was my order. She looked at me with scrutiny as if I were lying to her. ( What was the point of the flag marker with the number then, if you're uncertain of the order???) My crepe was pretty, but overall, it was okay in flavor and taste. It wasn't very hot, though, and was lukewarm. I would give the crepe a 3 out of 5 stars. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't anything I'd come running back for. The staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed confused and disorganized. I would not come back here again. Read the prior low reviews, as most of the complaints others have had with this establishment seem to be a running occurrence.

Lastly, we were recommended the AB Chocolate in a cup, and WOW you must try this! Very warm nutella chocolate cake at the bottom, vanilla ice cream all the way to the top of the cup, and topped with a hard chocolate disk and banana foam. We arrived separately & met in the lobby of the hotel the restaurant is in. Very upscale. Gorgeous. Literally NO guests visible. No staff at the hostess station. When I walked in to the bar to ask about seating, I got very dismissive responses from the bartender & the person who ended up being the host. Like WEIRD rude. Service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was largely empty the whole time. It was unnerving. The tea refresh was simply more hot water, NOT a fresh tea bag, so round two was basically flavorless. Ew. The server was really nice, but the long waits to get her attention were frustrating. And the water bottles were kept away from our table (?). I was having thirsty day, so my tongue was sticking to the roof of my mouth for way too long. When I asked for the bottle, she acted like she was irritated because it was "right behind" (me). Where neither of us could see it??? The lighting was AWFUL so most of the pics look bad, even with heavy editing. You can tell it's beautiful, but the pics are rough. Now - the settings were GORGEOUS. The dishes and flatware were beautiful. The water options were wonderful. The food is in the top 3 of any tea service I've ever had. The tea itself is hands down the best tea I've EVER HAD anywhere. You get a sampler box to smell before you choose, and there were so many that I loved. I ended up with Marco Polo blue, add honey and cream. I couldn't finish all the food, and they boxed the remainder up. Let me take the remainder of my water bottle home. Pushed for a review HARD. So here it is. We have to remember that the Michelin rating is solely for the food, not the decor, not the service. It definitely delivered there, but the rest really fell flat. For the price I'd expect way more as it's about double what tea costs anywhere else in the entire area.

I was about 25 minutes away, when I took my family here, and they were wondering where we were going, but let me tell you, they were not disappointed by the food, service and the surround area. When we arrived, it seemed like a downtown area that was kind of chill because it was a Tuesday early evening. Barely any traffic around and tons of open parking, especially right in front to the restaurant. From the front I noticed some funny signs, a patio that was wide open for seating, yard games and a nice cozy dive bar vibe. When we went inside, we were immediately greeted at the counter by our server. It was not busy, there was actually only one customer sitting at the bar. The bar has about 6 seats and has TVs to watch and the restaurant if filled with tons of cool Classic Rock pictures, memorabilia and quotes. It was just the vibe we needed to just hang as a family. The server allowed us to pick any table we wanted. We ordered margaritas. They were delicious. We also has the RIBS, okra, mac & cheese, potato salad, some greens, cornbread, brisket, grilled cheese sandwich and fries. EVERYTHING, including the SERVICE was on point; we left well fed, satisfied and happy we found this place to eat tonight. To walk off the food , there is a park right across the street. At the park you will find food trucks for dessert, like ice cream on a hot day. There's also a walking trail and a play ground for the kiddos. There was an area where people were fishing off the doc. I saw an area where people also get married and a facility for our veterans. I included some pictures of what I saw along my way after I left the restaurant for people looking for things to do in the area with a family and/or friends. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend you stop by this restaurant for some good eats, drinks and just a place to relax and have a good time. This time around, I ordered the sausage patties and a caramel frappe. Let's start with the frappe: it surprised me with a twist I wasn't expecting -- hints of spicy caramel, maybe even a touch of cinnamon or cardamom, which added a unique, almost exotic warmth to each sip.
