I ordered Pollo Crispy con Queso (crispy chicken with cheese) and I tried its Cuban coffee, Cafe con Leche. I love everything! It's so crispy and the chicken is tasty. The Cuban coffee was also good, but I find a bit sweet. My husband ordered cubano de polo (it's like chicken sandwhich), it tasted so good too, but he said he liked the crispy chicken more. The bread they used tasted homemade and I do really like it. Best breakfast spot we had in Florida. I would definitely go back! (8/4/2023) We grabbed a Cubano sandwich and a plethora of fried things from this carryout place on Lancaster on the way in to work. Ordered and paid online and it was ready almost immediately. We were in and out in a jiffy. The stuffed fried things were very tasty, empanada and ham croquette, if rather salty. I've never had a sorullo before, it was very dense cornmeal, like congealed grits. This place is tiny but packs a good punch. I stumbled upon it when I pulled into the strip mall for a quick phone call. The cops were right behind me and I did not want to use the phone in plain sight of their view range. It was around 11 am and I noticed the 12 people inside from the window. That is one more than the number of stools they had. But as I squeezed myself into the sardines can I noticed that there were more people coming for togo pickups beside the full house of stool seated guests. It is a no frills counter service of coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. I picked 2 cheese twists and beef empanadas plus hot water for my own teabags. Everything was delicious and I noticed that other patrons were served very fast whether it was sandwiches or coffee brewed on the ecpresso/cimbal machine.
