Gave me a discount (Bcus the line of work I do) without requesting for a discount or asking if there's discounts. Cool spot if you're a sushi enthusiast/fanatic. This spot is a hidden gem. The owners are so nice and even though it's not as fancy as other sushi restaurants the quality and little rice make it worth eating here. Love the ramen and the 3 amigos role. read more

Didn't expect much going into a small mall but right when I entered I was greeted by a great chef that made me feel right at home. You can already tell it's not a big operation, but the chef reallyyy puts his care into his work. I have a lot of sushi all over the world and this restaurant doesn't fall too far from any of em. I got the tuna sashimi and the nigiri combo along with the lobster roll and was extremely impressive despite the grandeur of the restaurant. They said to be offering poke soon so I'm anticipating that as well! always support the ma and pa shops they really know how to do it right! read more

Reviews are misleading. We should have turned around and walked out. There were no customers and the workers were sitting in the dining area. Ordered the tempera shrimp roll. It was coated with "dust" (crumbled fried batter instead of sticky rice. There wasn't any that could hold the roll together so the pieces would fall apart. The bento box's sushi was rubbery and not fresh. Go somewhere else. read more

This place is DELICIOUS! This is a new little sushi place. It's seriously nothing fancy...yet! It's only been open for 2 weeks and has plans to make aesthetic improvements in the next 2 months. I recommend the Firecracker Roll, Baked Lobster, Spicy Ramen, and the Ebi Special. You seriously can't go wrong with any of those as they are equally great but the firecracker roll is super yummy. Plus, J is so friendly and super nice. So overall the food and service is great but the place needs a little facelift. read more

This place was great! Went at lunch time and got 5 different rolls. All of them were delicious, and made very quickly! The servings are huge, and the prices are very reasonable for how much food you receive. They included tons of extra sauces for me when I asked, and were very nice. I've been here many times now and the food is amazing, the people are very kind. I get the Philadelphia roll. Great customer service and fast service. I learned that they also use postmates which is perfect for me. This place is a regular for me. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and strangers!!! Don't ever judge the book by its cover when arriving at sushi bento you might think about driving away but don't they have amazing fresh sushi and not mention the rolls are huge. The prices is very reasonable I pick up a baked lobster and spicy tuna(which taste so goood!!) and it only cost me $20 and they threw a free ice tea awesome i am glad I looked on yelp and found my new to go sushi spot. I am so glad I found this small little sushi eatery. It's centrally located in the Indio area right off of the 111. While looking for a place to eat sushi we read the reviews and decided to try it! The sushi was excellent and the customer service was great! It's a small, casual but clean place to eat. We had the rainbow roll which was really big. Also had the yellow tail and salmon rolls. Okay LISTEN TO ME when I say, you only have to order 1 roll per person. The portion size is huge here and at an amazing price. Although we had a complicated order they still managed to get us what we asked for and everything was good. They don't however have a take out menu and not everything on their menu is listed on the yelp menu pictures so that could be better. They also don't have a price break down for receipts (or at least i wasn't given one) other then spending a little more time on the phone to complete my order then I would have liked (it was a complicated order) everything was great! They made sure to put sauces on side since order was to go and we had everything we needed in the bag which was super nice too. Maybe making a menu with numbers next to the rolls will help some of the confusion in ordering? Overall this was a good choice and I will go back again. read more

Parking was PACKED (w/ others waiting in their car) & was worried it'd be a long wait, but it only took 20 minutes for my 3 rolls. My mom loves spicy tuna & it's been hard to please her w/ finding a spot that she *actually* enjoys and this FINALLY met her needs. The 3 rolls were big and at a great price! I deducted a star because the cashier had no gloves on and he was handling the register (cash) and the food containers which he would open to add sauces inside them, which rn w/ Covid you want to be super extra clean. Sushi is amazing and really good so I recommend 100%. But customer service is not so great. Every time we ask for more spicy mayo (keep in mind they always give us one small plastic container) the cashier would have a bit of an attitude which is noticeable. That has happened not once but three times. We asked for EXTRA spicy mayo this time and only gave us TWO and we bought FOUR ROLLS.
