For starters, a fan fell off the wall and hit a customers head. The staff did nothing about it. Okay, wasn't my experience but I'd feel unsafe sitting near those things. The ramen itself was underwhelming as far as flavor goes. Maybe I'm spoiled getting ramen around Convoy in San Diego. The broth was just okay, the pork was just okay, the noodle were just okay. Nothing really stood out. The pork gyoza did have a nice crisp to it, and was probably my favor part of the meal. Personally, I would not go back, and I would not recommend it. A few other spots in the area offer ramen, so I'd try my luck there.

For the rest: -If u have eaten shiitake before (at home for example) , u know nothing can go wrong with shiitake as it's already flavorful in its own (safe choice). -Pork belly has good flavor but kinda too fatty (it is a totally different style from the one I usually eat at other places). -Aburi salmon handroll doesnt taste like aburi at all. Just normal handroll basically. Nth special. It was my friend's birthday, we asked if they hv noodle (considering we were farrr from home) and they said it's only available during lunch (which is understandable), but then nth else was done to help celebrate this moment when they hear this fact (simple smile or simple 'happy birthday' could be a gift in its own). Overall, food-wise, we agree on best item and that this place is kinda meh (in terms of food selection and feels like very few 'flavor-worthed' ones).

The katsu curry was probably the best dish since it actually had a spicy kick and not sweet like other Japanese curries I've had in the past. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
