We came here for supper. The service was nice. The menu is a form you fill out so there's no confusion. There are pictures of each and every of their dishes, again very helpful! The quality of the food would earn two stars if they were in the Bay Area. Really decent sushi. Fresh and tasty. Will come back for sure when I'm in the area. Favorite roll was the kamakazi roll and the takoyagi.

Can't say much about the food but the service here is non existent. It took 30 min to sit a group while there are many empty tables. The servers here all seem to be talking around rather than working. I have never experience a Japanese restaurant with such bad service and attitude. Absolute shame. read more

Dinner visit and there was a line up, we waited approximately 30 minutes for a table. Place is medium in size and has decent decor. Casual attire is fine. A little surprised about a $2 charge for green tea but not complaining. Giant rolls are overwhelming on rice and I wouldn't recommend. Assorted sashimi (superior) was good and same with spicy salmon roll. Staff are Japanese and I'm glad (I'm not a fan of Chinese operated sushi places) Takoyaki was excellent, freshly made and I would highly recommend. Standard sushi place. Other than sashimi and sushi roll, we ordered ramen and some snacks. The soup for ramen was a bit werid to us. Not that it doesn't taste good, just not quite the taste we normally have. They could get you a full stomach but that's all. read more

Was pleased not to have to wait at all for a table by the window for lunch with my wife and kids in Banff. Just off the beaten path. Stopped in for a quick lunch while I was in Banff and enjoyed the sushi. Loved the Takoyaki!!! Octopus pancake balls...so yummy. Service was a bit slow even though there were just a handful of patrons in the establishment. Fortunately, I was on holiday and not in a rush, but ordinarily that would irritate me.
