Excellent food. Kind service. We had the BBQ pork, gyoza, miso, and some nigiri. It was all very enjoyed.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem when we went in one afternoon inside the Clock Tower Village Mall and thought to go back and eat dinner here at Jugemu. It is a small restaurant but the price point of the food is kind of affordable considering everything in Banff is expensive. We were seated right away as it was not that busy around 8:30 pm on a Sunday night, and the vibe was perfect for a chill and relaxing Japanese dinner. We ordered three hot starters: edamame with truffle oil, wagyu beef gyoza, and miso soup. I truly enjoyed all these starters as they were delicious. The miso soup was not salty and the wagyu beef gyoza was simply delectable. My husband ordered the creamy garlic ramen and added chashu pork and flavored egg. It was comforting and a good ramen. He ordered two beers and he enjoyed Naito the most. Service was quick and the only server was friendly and attentive. We are so glad we found this place and will eat here again if ever we go back to Banff.

Good food, reasonable price in a tucked away corner on Banff Street. Lunch special rice bowls $16 with pickles and kimchi as sides. We took the pork belly on rice w salad. Service is friendly and prompt. Full at dinner time!

Went back a 2nd time and just as good as the first! Same amazing service with deliciously crispy dishes.

We stumbled on to this place by accident as it was tucked away inside a mall. However, we were so glad that we did bc food was so tasty! Salad (with carrot ginger dressing) was refreshing and their battered cod rice bowl was delicious!!! My husband ordered creamy garlic miso ramen and that was good too...the broth was rich but not greasy. Their rice bowls are their specialities and you can't go wrong g with them. If you are craving some good Asian food while at Banff, definitely give Jugemu a try! Service was very friendly and attentive too!! 5 star all around!!

Staff were so friendly impatient with us even when they were so busy most nights. We were creative and got something different to try each night and we liked everything. Something else we like more than others and would get over and over again and that includes the mushroom ravioli, cheesy gnocchi, the purple haze smoothie and kimchi burger. And I believe my husband really enjoyed his legume burger and I enjoyed my falafel salad however I substituted my falafel's for tofu. Ambience is great not too loud indoor and outdoor seating. Good for individuals or large groups.

The outdoor seating during summer while looking at the Rocky Mountains was spectacular- bring some mosquitoes spray / they will enjoy biting you, while you enjoy the food :) The service was great - we asked for extra ice and they got it - we hung out late and the staff was so accommodating. 5/5 for service! The food for me was 3/5 and the ambiance was 5/5.

By the time we were ready, it took a while to find someone to take our order. The most wanted item is sold out, a fact that they told us upon ordering. Will be appreciated if we know ahead of time so we have more time to consider 'back up item'. There was a table beside us (came after us) who also discussed about ordering same sold-out items, and I was very tempted to tell them that it's sold out. But I figure it's not my place to say because the restaurant must have its own reason for NOT telling this upfront!!?????!! Ordered pork belly skewer , shiitake skewer, shrimp in spicy peanut sauce, and aburi salmon handroll, miso creme brulee. Best items are the shrimp with spicy peanut sauce, and miso creme brulee. Just wow!! For the rest: -If u have eaten shiitake before (at home for example) , u know nothing can go wrong with shiitake as it's already flavorful in its own (safe choice). -Pork belly has good flavor but kinda too fatty (it is a totally different style from the one I usually eat at other places). -Aburi salmon handroll doesnt taste like aburi at all. Just normal handroll basically. Nth special. It was my friend's birthday, we asked if they hv noodle (considering we were farrr from home) and they said it's only available during lunch (which is understandable), but then nth else was done to help celebrate this moment when they hear this fact (simple smile or simple 'happy birthday' could be a gift in its own). Overall, food-wise, we agree on best item and that this place is kinda meh (in terms of food selection and feels like very few 'flavor-worthed' ones).

Soup Sandwiches to the rescue!!…read more After a day of hiking and exploring in the Mountains, we were tired, sore, and hangry. Noshing throughout the day we were set on a good soup and sandwich combo. We checked multiple locations and either it was high-end foo foo or just more than we want or just worse. It was pub grub and they had one soup and they weren't sure what it was. We found Wild Flour. They offer multiple soups and sandwiches and a few treats. Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The team at 630pm was helpful and prompt guided us as we had not eaten at Wild Flour. Good food, reasonably priced for Banff is a find. Go to Wild Flour and enjoy... we did.
