    7 Piece Seared Salmon Sushi!!!
    Marielle J.

Serving only take-out, this sushi was DELICIOUS! It's hard to find seared salmon sushi these days. I thought it was a bit expensive but they really make it quality for how thick and tasty it is!

Servings are HUGE. Tasted fresh and delicious! Not much of a line when ordering and took about 15 mins for the food to be ready.

Copying over review from the other Sushi Blue location if anyone stops by here (they should be the same). Sushi Blue has amazing value! Rolls here are generous and large, perfect for sharing and very filling. The main complaint is a lack of variety, most rolls are simply filled with imitation crab meat and the exterior is the unique selling point. I thought the Mt. Denali Roll was supposed to come with unagi and salmon, unfortunately I misread and it comes with unagi sauce. Already had a salmon heavy order, so was looking forward to the additional unagi but overlooked that. Because of this, it seems like a lot of the rolls are simply California rolls with salmon or tuna integrated somehow. House Combo A - 8 tuna rolls, 8 shrimp rolls, rice with unagi, and 2 shrimp nigiri. House Combo B - 8 tuna rolls, 8 salmon rolls, 4 salmon nigiri, 2 shrimp nigiri House Combo C - 8 tuna roll, 8 bluefin tuna roll, 4 bluefin tuna nigiri, 2 shrimp nigiri All combos are solid. Combo C is the best for tuna and higher quality fish, Combo B is best for salmon, and combo A is best for cheap value that's filling (mainly the fact that half a unagi rice bowl is included). You don't need all 3, I just wanted to compare. They're all good in their own ways. Mt. Denali Roll - Salmon with skin surrounding a California roll Seared Salmon Roll - Fair seared salmon, no shocker. Basically a California roll with seared salmon. Pretty Salmon Roll - Now this is what I like! Not a basic California roll with exterior decoration, but a roll with salmon on the outside and salmon on the inside. Got my salmon fix here so didn't need the other salmon options, but I wouldn't have known if I didn't order this. California Roll - Basically what you expect, but larger in size with more rice. Basic, but filling!

I'm really impressed by the ridiculously large slices of fish. I was very satiated to say the least.

We had tickets to see the Odyssey down the way, so little time to eat, and this was perfect! However, we were eating kind of quick! The options are endless, and every dish was perfect! The green tea was hot and tasty, too! Now, I'm not 100% sure why the robot never came to check on our table, provide waters, or bring the wasabi and ginger, but the hostess did ALL the work for him. I'm pretty sure she had to put him in time-out for the afternoon after that one. Overall, such a fun experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more!

I walked in to ask the Host where the sign up list was to get seated. He responded by saying to get in line outside. I did and then waiting right outside the door only to watch 3 parties walk right in front of me. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt and say some had reservations, but I knew two did not as I heard them discuss "oh they shut off the check-in" tablet. The area was disorganized and the host could have done a better job at asking who was next rather than just taking whoever was in front of him. This kind of service is well below the mark. If you like Kura, go to the Bellevue location where service is much more pleasing and accommodating. I have never had an issue at that location. This wasn't a one time issue. Last time at the Lynwood location, they took forever to even deliver water and wasabi. As a paying customer, you deserve better!

We ordered the Crunch roll, Sunrise roll, seared salmon roll, and bluefin tuna, and everything was incredibly fresh, with perfectly cooked rice. Ordering four rolls for two people was super filling, and our food came out in a quick fifteen minutes. Prices are standard for the area, ranging from $11 to $15 per roll, but they also offer a fantastic happy hour from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Sunday, and all day on Wednesdays (excluding holidays). Located right in the Mill Creek Town Center, the service was excellent, and I would absolutely come back again.

In long We've been meaning to try it forever and finally dragged our carcasses in here when we were coming back from an afternoon up north. Quiet Sunday night on Thanksgiving weekend, and we scored perfect parking and got a table instantly. So we're already in a great mood, right? It's a shoebox-shaped room with a few extra tables in one corner. Newish strip mall construction. You can come in from either end, which I would not have guessed. It's sparkling clean and well lit with some nice warmth to the lighting. Big flatscreens behind the sushi bar, probably tuned to the ballgame or the news or something. The menu feels comfortingly familiar. The usual apps, solid list of sashimi, lots of classic rolls and then a couple full pages of specialty rolls. Matcha for later. So far you don't feel like you're in crazy territory, though they do list hamachi collar as an all-the-time hot dish, which is cool. So many places run out of it right away and list it only as a special, but not here. The sake list is just enough--a couple of each type, some solid and reasonably-priced house options, a couple really nice picks. You get your sake right away and the miso doesn't take much longer. The takoyaki was delicious and beautiful. Lots of garnish, boiling hot, great flavor. Nice tako bits in there, lots of creamy filling. They garnish the seaweed salad with daikon and load it with cucumber. More places should do both of these things. The cucumber in particular enhanced the flavor a ton. Once the rolls showed up, things got better and better. The Love Hunter and the Amazing were both fantastic. Great combinations of flavors and textures, generously portioned and topped. We got some classic taki too, and that was a great contrast. I love it so much when places nail the classics and the modern. I got the deluxe sashimi dinner. For $36 this is such a value. The hamachi and the other tuna were both super buttery, the salmon had tons of flavor, and there were a couple other nice fish on the plate as well. It's great when you find a place you're super happy you tried, but this immediately goes into the rotation as an any-night sushi spot. Affordable enough you don't have to wait for a special occasion! Dig this place hard.

The place was absolutely empty when we got there around 6:30 on a Friday. This made us feel a bit uneasy but maybe it was just a slow night. There was only one other table that came in during the time we were there. The place is in a strip mall and doesn't feel like the best area. It was a bit dingy inside but seemed clean. The waitress was nice and quickly came over to get our drink order. The menu is online via a QR code so make sure you have your phone handy. We ordered a few special rolls and some regular rolls. The food took a little while to come out despite the place being empty. The sushi was fine but nothing special. The El Diablo roll was probably my favorite and packed a decent amount of heat. The rest of the rolls tasted pretty good but I didn't love the bigger pieces of cucumber in them. On the plus side, the prices were pretty reasonable.

Fish texture is that grainy, mushy kind. I'm not expecting Japan level sushi, but for the prices that you're paying per roll, you'd expect a little better.
