Not only was the sushi rice dried out but to add insult to injury their rainbow roll was not in any sense a traditional rainbow roll, that is, what ever it was it was not a rainbow roll. For what was offered the price was outlandish! Never will go back, will never recommend. However, if your only goal is to eat as much as you can for a single price regardless of quality of the food--this is your place for bang for buck--but not for real sushi. I was traveling from out of state and staying at a nearby hotel. I searched for a nearby place for sushi and came upon this one and gave them a try. I ordered a spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll and spider roll. All three were very good! The online ordering process was very easy and the food was ready when they said it would be. Lost us as long term customers after our last visit. We had a super long work day and decided to go here on a Saturday night. We were seated as usual. Waitress was a bit snippy. Fine. We all have those days. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer then put in our order for our rolls. 17 minutes later we got our appetizer of two spring rolls. Our waitress kept walking by and we asked how long for our rolls. She said they are coming next. Ok. So in the meantime her and another waitress sat down across from us and got their meals. Fine. Everyone needs to eat. Then they got out books to read. Okay. So we asked again when she finally got up, 36 minutes later. We asked and said to us to just hold on. Nothing 15 minutes later. So my husband went up to the manager. Said they are working on our order. When he asked the sushi chef's they said they don't have our orders. Really! Then said we are done we are closing. Sushi Bomb is da bomb! We've been wanting to try this place for several months and finally got a chance in between stops at Lowe's and Sam's Club. They have a very large all you can eat lunch from Mon-Thur 11:30-3 and a dinner buffet from 4:30-9:30 weekdays; check their website for weekend hours. I forgot to take pictures of everything but I had to say that the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and Shrimp Tempura roll were delish and "get agains", as there will other visits in the near future! I have been to sushi bomb quite a few times in the past. We had a group of 6 people. Decided to go there for lunch and found out that they do not offer their lunch special on the weekends. The female server we had a terrible attitude from the start. After we finished we all had separate bills and we were all charged an 18% gratuity. I am not understanding why we were all charged 18% for a tip when we all had separate bills. This is quite upsetting how the server received almost $25 as a tip just to bring us our drinks and food. Definitely no exceptional service to have ever received that much of a tip. Will probably never be back. read more

I came in with a friend and although there was a 25 minute wait, I did not mind waiting because my friend had told me how good the food was here. All I know is an all you can eat sushi restaurant? You order your food and when you're done you just keep ordering more and more all for a flat rate fee. Some of the food highlights for me was the toasted eel, since normally I usually stick with shrimp or lobster rolls but the toasted eel was good! The king lobster roll was great!! The dining room had plenty of space and our tables were clean, however the little waiting area just as you walk in was very dusty, huge amounts of visible dust mites but overall the food was fantastic. LOVE THIS PLACE!! Everything about this place is great. Entering the restaurant we were greeted by the amazing FOH employees. The host explained the ends and outs of ordering. It's all you can eat, but they have a rule to only order what you can eat. They charge a fee if there is too much waste at the end of your meal. Another thing I love is that they don't have anything with peanuts on the menu. We had the Gyoza Dumplings, Hibachi Shrimp, California Roll, and Dragon Roll. Everything was delicious. So we have a favorite sushi place. My son suggested we try out sushi bomb. This was an intriguing concept as I like a wide variety of food. Alcohol included, our regular sushi bill is about $120. At sushi bomb, It was 22.99 for each of us, for two, and our total bill was $79.00, alcohol included. I am glad we tried it. I really have no complaints. But you are not getting fresh out of the ocean delicacy here. A lot of the specialty rolls are very sauce/mayo laden, and the sushi is heavy with rice. You can get sashimi but have to pay an extra 2.50 for 3 pieces, which I don't think is bad at all, but we did not do that this visit. We tried the salmon lovers roll, which we took a lot of the sauce off so we could taste the fish. We got a spider roll which was heavily lettuced. We also got a rainbow roll which I thought was the best we had and would recommend. It was not sauced and you could taste the fish. Get a sake sampler and try things you havent tried before. And if you havent had nigiri sake, it is so good. It is unfiltered and has a milky sweetness to it. Yum. All in all, go here if you are super hungry and want a wide variety of food to try, but keep your expectations in check. read more
