This place was recommended by a friend so I decided to bring a group with me. What a great recommendation. The rolls are huge and it is all you can eat. The fish in the sushi taste fresh and there are so many options to choose from.

The food was a lot better than I expected. I read multiple reviews and it kind of pushed me away from coming however, after a coworker insisted of coming, it was a great choice. I'm from California and highly recommend this restaurant.

Contrary to many reviews on this restaurant I found service to be great! Food was a bit slow, but that was expected when you see how crowded this place was. I really loved the cleanliness and decoration of the place. Sushi was amazing! I really recommend the mango and eel rolls. The SAT roll had great proportions aswell. Would come back if visiting again!

Usually our experience here is pleasant. The food is always good and fresh. Sushi times are really slow. On this particular visit though we had a server that maybe was having a bad day. She was quite rude. Never introduced herself and when my husband asked if we could go ahead and place our first order we were met with a kind of cold attitude of "ooookay, I guess if you want to." But over all I do love this place. Can recommend as most of the staff are friendly.

I think this was the Godzilla roll. It was the first time we tried a fried roll and it will have us coming back for more!

Sushi Bomb is da bomb! We've been wanting to try this place for several months and finally got a chance in between stops at Lowe's and Sam's Club. They have a very large all you can eat lunch from Mon-Thur 11:30-3 and a dinner buffet from 4:30-9:30 weekdays; check their website for weekend hours. I forgot to take pictures of everything but I had to say that the Shrimp Tempura appetizer and Shrimp Tempura roll were delish and "get agains", as there will other visits in the near future! If I had to mention a negative, it would be the sliced ginger at the salad bar. It was a little dry. Still, it wouldn't prevent us from retiring!

No frills, no flash, and no attempt to impress with décor. Instead, all the care and pride are poured exactly where they should be, into the food and the service. And in those areas, this place delivers five full stars without question. I live in Washington, D.C., where sushi options are plentiful and often overpriced. Many of those restaurants would wish they could match what this small spot does so effortlessly. The freshness and quality of the fish were outstanding, and every piece of sushi showed a level of attention and craftsmanship that is becoming increasingly rare. You can taste the care in each bite. What really stood out was the consistency and intention behind every order. From the sushi chef's precision to the welcoming service, it felt like a place that genuinely loves what it does and wants you to leave happy. This is now firmly on my list of must-visit spots whenever I'm in Hagerstown. If you appreciate great sushi made with skill, heart, and honesty, do yourself a favor and seek this place out. It deserves to be discovered.

Sure there were…read moreChinese restaurants that offered sushi as a side thought but they were just that a side thought; skinny rolls, room temperature and just not what I was looking for For. I have been all over the state of Maryland looking for good sushi and guess what some of the best is right here in Hagerstown at Wasabi. The restaurant is always clean and the portions are always good sized. Reasonably priced, although they have gone up in the past couple years like everything else. The staff is always very kind and considerate. And I swear I've watched the one kid grow up from being a child at a table doing his homework to now he's the waiter. They are closed on Mondays which is unfortunate, but everybody needs a day off. I miss the days of green tea coming in the tea pot with a little cup. It comes in a coffee cup now in a teabag and it's nearly 3 dollars for a cup of tea but I can't stand drinking soda with Asian food it just doesn't mesh well. I recently tried sushi in Rockville and Baltimore just, because why not, and when my son and I went to wasabi last week we both started laughing when the food came out because the presentation was better and the flavor was better and the size was better and it was just all around better. I don't know what else to say. Oh did I mention that the restaurant always clean and the people are always super nice?
