This was the best sushi place!! It truly is a hidden gem. Small, clean restaurant with several tables to accommodate dining in. The guy filled several to-go and pick-up orders while we were there. We were looking for sushi when we saw the Sushi Box ratings and decided to give it a try. The Sushi Box is a nicely decorated restaurant next to Krogers in Allen. They have limited seating but seemed delighted that we wanted to dine in - very friendly and engaged staff. We ordered 2 of their Special Rolls, and some Miso soup. My wife got a Lion King roll which she really enjoyed and I got a Panic Roll - heavy on the Panic. Right after we finished our soups (just the thing on a cold evening), they presented us a complementary House Salad, tossed greens in a ginger dressing with other tasty things - it was excellent! I will definitely order one next time (unless I try one of their other salads). Beyond the friendly staff and excellent food was the outstanding value. Everything is very, very reasonably priced. We bill was about $34 for 2 excellent special rolls (seems like most places charge $18+), 2 miso soups and 2 drinks. This place rocks! read more

I'm always trying to grab a quick meal before I pick my son up from therapy, and sushi is my fave meal to have solo while I read a couple of chapters of my book! I've been struggling to find a good sushi place for over a year now since moving to Texas and I just went here for the first time. I got the 911 Roll and the Fire Dragon Roll and it was amazing! Really good prices for the quality of sushi and great service too. When I walked in I was greeted by both workers then I went to fill up my drink and they were out of ice which would have been fine but immediately one of the workers ran to the back scooped up some ice and filled up my drink for me.
